OK, maybe I did make it sound like that. How about this though: In the next couple preseasons, they could experiment with the shorter shot clock, then go with the regular one in the regular season. That way, if no one likes it, they can just not use it at all.

You didn't get it because you didn't put any thought into it. You were just looking for a reason to be a smart ass.

FUCK YOU GILBERT ARENAS. Thanks to you, I dropped out of first in our group. I can't blame Stephon and his 8 VGMs, because the guy that passed me had him too.

It would take some times for some teams to get used to, but it wouldn't be a problem for teams like Dallas, Sacramento, New Jersey and other teams that push it a lot and get a lot of fast breaks.

How about a shorter shot clock? 16 or 18 seconds, perhaps?

I have an incredibly large tallywhacker. ... Whoops, wrong thread...

The last pre-MJ era Wizard is finally gone, as the Wiz traded Jahidi White to the Suns for Brevin Knight. I like this trade on both sides. Washington finally gets a pass-first PG, and Phoenix, after trading their starting center to get Knight, come out of it in the end with a little more help in the middle instead of being stuck with yet ANOTHER guard.

I was there for like the last month that the banana board was open.

Nuggets have 24 points already with 2 minutes left in the 1st! This is like a whole half for them.

I hope this thread dies.

They do it in the NBA, too. Kobe was pushing people to the gorund every game against Minnesota and not getting called for it. Also, when he tried to decapitate Bibby in the atrocious game 6 in 2002.

I hate you.

Right now, I would say picking any Blazer other than Zach Randolph is taking a chance.

I could end up regretting this lineup, but here's my 11-6: PG: Gary Payton SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Dirk Nowitzki PF: Jeff Foster C: Jermaine O'Neal Coach: Don Nelson Bowen usually does a good job on Kobe, but he should still get better numbers than Kerry Kittles, my oiginal pick, who always seems to play balls out against the Pacers. And with Duncan out, Shaq is pretty sure to be dominant, as well, especially with the extra motivation in that it is the Spurs they're playing. But with K-Mart's status unknown, I think I can safely predict a big night from Jermaine as well. Foster got the nod over Scot Pollard at center last night, and with the way he's been playing, it will probably stay that way for a while. He was second in the league in rebounds per 48 minutes last year, and had 13 last night against Denver.

You're all banned. Fags.

GOD FUCKING DAMMIT. Figures once I drop Boykins, he goes for 18 points off the bench.
-
In my power rankings, I had Utah at 28...but right now, they're playing more consistent ball than anyone in the west, with the exception of LA, Dallas and possibly Sacramento and Memphis. Then again, it's only one week into the season. As I recall, the Nuggets started out 2-1 last year, too, and only won 15 games.

90 points last night. I am now in the top 98.6 percent. 11-5 lineup: PG: Stephon Marbury SG: Tracy McGrady SF: Andrei Kirilenko PF: Drew Gooden C: Ben Wallace Coach: Don Nelson

DEADLY Alliance, dammit. So, what do I need to do to help?

UnderGround Sluts doesn't sound bad... But what's wrong with just "The Underground"? After all, our forum intro already says that anyway.

Those fags better play Raja Bell or I will be severely pissed. Eddy Curry is fucking me up hardcore right now too. I guess I should have picked Chandler instead.
