There's also a article up there saying that the Nets and Blazers are both still trying to trade for Memphis' #5 pick. So apparently the Nets/Blazers thing isn't final yet. According to Ford, the Nets will only make that deal if Love, Lopez and Gallinari are all off the board by then.

Toronto is also getting the Pacers' second-round pick, while the Pacers are bringing back Maceo Baston from the Raptors. Baston will probably wind up being an irrelevant part of this deal, if we even keep him around at all, but I'd like to see him get another chance here in O'Brien's system, he's a hell of an athlete, can block shots and is a great finisher at the rim. Ford now has us going with Kosta Koufos and Mario Chalmers with our picks. That looks like a solid combo.

I've thought a lot about the possibility of us taking Hibbert there, as well, but I have my concerns about how well he would fit into a running game. I think that even more than the injuries was the main reason Jermaine's production took a dive last season.

Well, yeah. My point was, they won't be severely lacking in any areas because Tyson Chandler's not there.

We can barely medal these days when we do send our pros. I'd hate to think how bad off we'd be if we sent a group of college kids. Regarding the Prince/Chandler thing, I'd definitely rather have Prince on this team. In international play, you don't really need three true centers...Howard, Bosh, and Boozer are all plenty capable of playing center in these games, and you can get away with playing LeBron and Carmelo at PF (and in fact, Carmelo is going to be the starting PF, according to Sheridan). Prince could probably even play some PF here. I can't think of anything that Chandler could give you here that Prince wouldn't.
