The advantage of guys like Kobe and Garnett getting technicals is that they can now yell and cuss out and fingerpoint the referees all they want knowing that they wouldn't actually throw them out in the NBA Finals.

You know, when I added this poll, it was meant to be in jest.

Good to see Pierce's injury hasn't affected his flopping ability.

This would be funnier without the caption.

Depends on the variety. I would probably say cake overall, but I'd take a good cherry pie or peanut butter pie over most cakes. German chocolate is easily my favorite cake, it's what I have every year on my birthday.

I was wrong about this. Both of the other ones were way better. Overall, I'm partial to SuperNova.

With my last pick, I wanted a big combo guard that can shoot the three and won't hurt you on defense. I think this guy fits that bill nicely. Joe Johnson Can also play the 3 if needed. 16.6 points (nearly 22 a game since joining the Hawks), 4.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, .377 3PT% 2-time All-Star Another very durable player, playing all 82 games 5 of the last 6 seasons, and averaging over 40 minutes per game throughout the last 5.

In addition to getting Oden back, Rudy Fernandez, the Blazers' other first-rounder in 2007, announced today he is coming to play for them, this from ESPN.

OK, let's try this again.

Yeah, if you sprain something, it may swell up on you in the days following and cause you to miss some time, but guys re-enter games all the time after spraining ankles and knees.

I think it's funny that the Lakers are suddenly being called for all their over-the-back stuff that was never getting called against the Spurs. Just dropped in to say that.

We're going to try an AIM chat tonight for the Finals. We'll probably start sometime around 8-8:30 ET. If anyone wants an invite, shoot me an IM at Alfdogg765, or send me a PM here with your SN. The room will be tsmnbafinals.

I had the Raspberry Citrus MD the other day. It wasn't very good. I can't imagine the other two flavors being better.

Flip is out, per ESPN.

Nice run of picks there. Theus was a guy I'd been considering with my final pick. I actually was going to take Josh Smith with the pick I used on Prince, but went with Prince because he's a better shooter and less TO/foul prone.

OK, that's 12. Clifford Robinson, PF/C 14.2 points (19,594, 35th all-time), 4.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, one steal, one block, .356 3PT% 1992-93 NBA Sixth Man of the Year 2-time All-Defense 2nd team (2000, 2002) 1-time All-Star (1994) Good for 20 ppg and 6+ rebounds in his prime, along with a block or two and a steal or two. Three point assassin, and solid post defender right up until his retirement. His defense on Jermaine O'Neal was a huge factor in the Nets/Pacers series a couple years ago. Very durable player, not missing a game in his first five seasons, and played

I'm kind of in the same boat as Agent in the whole MD vs Coke story. From 16 to about 22/3, I was a big Mountain Dew drinker, then at some point I just started drinking cola more. Not sure what caused the change, but ever since I've been primarily a Coke/Pepsi drinker. I do still drink Dew from time-to-time, though, especially Live Wire. And Tahitian Treat, when I can find it.

Where Midwest mods happen.

OK, disregard my post. I thought KC was doing that match for last week.

OK cabbageboy, we get it, you don't like the Spurs or Pistons. Shut the fuck up. I'm sticking with Lakers in 6, but I'm less confident about that pick than I was prior to the Boston-Detroit series.

Well, either way, it's been over 12 hours.

I remember seeing one of the guys from PG-13 on Springer once.
