Just like last time, all the pics thread(s) should be posted in LSD and not the WWE forum. Thank you in advance.

Meh, I liked the show, but they pretty much used up all the major storylines in this season alone, so really, there wasn't much left to do. As for the NFL, whatta bunch of hypocrites, especially some of the players I saw dissing the show on ESPN yesterday like Ray Lewis and his "My kids watch ESPN! I don't want them seeing this and thinking that blah, blah, blah..." ramblings. Yeah, you play a violent sport where eleven guys are trying to kill eleven more guys and you're worried about a FICTIONAL SHOW? This same type of head-in-thy-ass behavior spawned groups like the PTC. Hey Ray... maybe if, you know, PAID ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR KIDS WATCH, you wouldn't have to worry about a goddamn drama show on ESPN. Clueless putz.

I'm down with doing this again this year. Oh, I call Jags again.

Count me in with the "Keep Edge on SD" crowd. A move to RAW where he'd probably do nothing except for feud with Christian would be like 8 steps back for both men. Honestly, I think they should do Edge/Brock as a post WM feud and possibly blow it off at Vengeance since he's pretty much the last guy Brock hasn't feuded with aside from Eddy.

This recent trend of bumping 6+ month old threads has to stop. Let this be the last time it happens.

Tennis: I tried watching Wimbleton like 5 years ago and was zonked out after 20 minutes. Golf: Dull, dull, DULL! Announcers speaking in hushed voices(I know it's nesscessary, but goddamn is it boring) and taking forever to take a shot. If I was out there watching that crap, I'd wish for someone to put a bullet in my head. Hockey: Don't hate it, but I can't sit through it, either. Or, if I do manage to sit through a game, I'm just left with the feeling that I wasted almost 3 hours of my life for nothing. Eastern Conference in the NBA: It's basketball in SUPER SLO-MO!!!! Outside of Indy and NO, watching an Eastern Conference game is like friggin' Chinese water torture.

Meh, the Angle matches were average, at best, even the Backlash match. And, both guys(Eddy and Angle) have had bad opponents and produced bad matches, so I don't see how that's a knock on Edge. And to be honest, I think Angle's the most overrated "good" wrestler I've ever seen.
-
Hahahaha! That's great. Speaking of the All-Star Game, there's no way in hell Francis should be starting over Mike Bibby or Sam Cassell other than the people who vote for these things are idiots.

Edge was over and brought just as much in that feud as Eddy did(not to take anything away from Eddy, obviously). As for the blowoff match, both guys went through hell in that match and it didn't surprise me at all that the crowd started chanting for him after it was over and seeing as Edge got a pretty big pop for winning(I should know, I just watched the match yesterday), I'd say he was over.

Boy in 'Wrestling Death' Freed From Jail

I have the book sitting right in front of me. From Foley is Good: here's the part where the brat shows no remorse for what he did: Fuck parole, he should still be rotting in jail. -
The OAO Royal Rumble Results/Match Ratings Thread
AlwaysPissedOff replied to Steviekick's topic in The WWE Folder
Duds/Evolution: Ugh, ugh, UGH. 1/2* Rey/Noble: Wayyy too short, but then again, these guys haven't really wowed me lately. Slightly higher than the tag match since it was a bit more fast-paced. 3/4* Eddy/Chavo: Who booked this shit? The pacing sucked, too much stalling, out of nowhere finish and Eddy's beatdown which makes no sense annoyed the hell out of me. *1/2 Brock/Holly: WOOF. punch, kick, bearhug, F5. Holly looked like a total jobber. DUD HHH/HBK: This was like HHH/Taker, KOTR 2002 Redux with all the punching and resting. Plus, that stupid table bump just made me scratch my head and wonder if Shawn lost a few brain cells inbetween the RAW match and now considering how he totally whiffed it(Hunter didn't even need to duck). Nice blood from both guys, but blood alone doesn't make a match great. Also, am I the only one who noticed HHH looked a bit more chubby now? I thought he had already shed all that excess weight from a few months ago. Plus, he was gassed in a little over 5 minutes, which concerns me greatly if they are going to continue to book everything around him. ** Royal Rumble match: Well thoughtout and wow... Orton was inoffensive for once instead of bad, so kudos to him. Benoit and Big Show were booked very well and Kane getting freaked out by the gongs made me laugh. ***1/2 -
I gotta go with the Gundam Universe(aside from Wing and 0080 since they both SUCK). Very well-written and well-drawn(for it's time concerning MSG). Plus, 0083 and 08th MS Team are two of my favorite anime series of all-time. A close second would go to CB and third to Macross Plus.

This list is EVIL... I've watched every show on this poll and love them all(yes, even KP because I'm a huge Ron fan). If I had to narrow it down to 3 possible choices, it'd be Batman, SJ, and Gargoyles. Ah fuck it, I'll go with Bats. Minor sidenote: Maybe I'm just quirky like that, but I prefer X-Men: Evolution to the 90's show(don't get me wrong, the FOX show was *very* good, but it just got amazingly tedious after they went to the Savage Land while Evo started off shaky and then got better and better til the end of the series). Also, I'm all for an anime poll, that should be a good debate... heh.

Man... I thought I was the only person who saw this last night... Oddly enough, along with calling him by his real name, the narrator called him "Chuao" near the end before the wedding(when he showed up on the boat) and was taking quite a few jabs at him because he was out-of-town... heh. Personally, I was hoping for a drunken Eddy sighting at the wedding just to spice things up.

McMahon tells wrestlers not to speak to the 'net
AlwaysPissedOff replied to Celtic Jobber's topic in The WWE Folder
C'mon now, they blew spots in RVD/Orton, as well, with the blown ref bump in the corner being the most obvious one. -
Ugh... I thought this shit was over with when we told him to stop in the TNA folder. I'm only going to say this once, Dave: Cut the shit already. The act is old and you've been warned about it before over and over again in the TNA folder. That shit won't happen here, you have my word on that. If you can't present a differing point without pulling the same peddling shit you did months ago in TNA, then your ass is out of here, bottom line.

Bowe/Golota, obviously. Sox/Yanks, 2003 ALCS. Just watching Zimmer trying to run had me falling down laughing. Heat/Knicks when Zo and Larry Johnson were throwing those wussy ass, "miss-by-a-mile" punches and Van Gundy had a death grip on Zo's ankles... hahahaha. Not much of a fight, but Stackhouse/Hornacek was funny as hell. Jeff did something to Stack when he was driving and it pissed Jerry off so much that he threw a haymaker(that connected) while Hornacek was STILL IN THE AIR. Seeing it in slow-mo on ESPN, you could see Jeff's jaw get ROCKED. Knicks/Bulls 95(?) playoffs: Just an all-out bench clearer which started when a Knick was shooting free throws and the guards back at mid-court started throwing down. It was funny as hell watching Pippen throwing punches like that in the big ass dogpile that resulted, heh.

RW 6 was the Miami cast, BPP. The one you're thinking of is 9 from New Orleans.

For the record, I didn't say you would hate Outkast just because they are hip-hop, just that you didn't generally like the genre they're in. Of course, looking back on it, I have no clue why the hell I said that, but whatever... heh. Putting that aside, enough of the baiting already. That goes for everyone involved.

Man... 4 INTs and no TDs in the playoffs, that's TERRIBLE. -

Damn, sounds like me and my parents when Alabama/Florida happens(boy, did they hate me after Bama beat them twice...), heh. -
The One and Only Divisional Playoffs thread
AlwaysPissedOff replied to CanadianChris's topic in Sports
Ahem... the Jaguars were the Pats' opponents in 96. Also, GB hasn't made it yet, they still have to beat Philly. -
Outkast is rap/hip-hop, so you already don't like the genre they are in.

I hope we take you bastards on again next year.

A basic 4-point play is when a player gets fouled while hitting a 2 pt shot, then proceeds to nail his subsequent two free throws The specific play in question I believe refers to Larry Johnson against the Pacers in the '99 Eastern Conf Finals, but I've never seen it (that was the spring/summer I lacked a TV), so someone else would have to explain why it was bogus A 4-point play is when you're fouled after making a 3-pointer and then hitting the FT. As for the infamous play itself, the Knicks were down 3(?) and had possession of the ball with little time left. Larry Johnson gets the ball and launches up a desperation 3 with a Pacer running at him. LJ hits it and then the ref on that side of the court calls a BS foul on the guy who ran at LJ(he didn't touch him at ALL, much like the phantom foul called on Wally Zerbiack(spelling) TWICE in the 1st round of the Western Conf. playoffs last year(one when some backup PG was going for a lay-up, and the other when Kobe shot a 3 pointer). LJ shoots the FT, makes it, and the Knicks go on to win the series.
