Oh yeah, SEED and SEED Destiny was some bullshit. One of the things I hated about Destiny was how everybody made Athrun look like a bitch. In SEED, it was understandable somewhat because he was confused and shit, but there's no excuse for how they treated him in Destiny with Kira(and freaking LACUS bossing him around when he was basically half-dead) and Shinn punking him out and the Chairman using him like a puppet. What an annoying series. I know about Your Mom, it's just that I have tendency to stick with one particular fansub of a series if I can help it. I like it a lot, but the subs are coming out so damn slow. The group I get my subs of it from have just now done episode 9 and Japan's on like 16 or 17 at the moment. Well, you have to agree that Negima needs it. The anime royally butchered the manga to the point where I didn't even bother downloading the last two episodes because it annoyed me so much. I don't mind when an anime kinda strays off of the manga storyline for a bit just as long as it makes some sort of sense. With Negima, they just took the manga and buttfucked it to death.

Naruto is pretty hit or miss, especially the fillers. There are some really good fights mixed in with the crap, but they tend to be too damned stop and go due to the characters making 5 minute speeches while in the midst of combat.

Oh, I have a site where I get 'em from, I've just been too lazy or busy to do so. Direct downloading sucks ass when you're on shitty dial-up and the files tend to be about 5+ MB which is like 20 minutes or so for me. Good luck on becoming a checker. About 11 bucks a pop for 25, though I think I'm going to have to find some different ones because our Wal-Marts have seemingly stopped carrying the ones I normally use. As far as getting more gigs of HD, I've thought about it, but everytime I get close to doing so, something fucked up happens and I end up using my cash for other crap(which is why I've had to restrict myself to only 3 manga series). It's a decent series to watch when there's really nothing else on, but the characters get annoying as hell the farther you get into the show. As far as the series I'm following at the moment: Naruto, Bleach, School Rumble Ni Gekki(WannabeFansubs finally started back doing 'em), Yugiou GX, and Digimon Savers(stop laughing). Tried following Blood+, but I got way behind after episode 4 and gave up. I need to get into a couple more series, but the site I get GX from acts all wonky and doesn't release the raws til like Thursday or Friday at the earliest and then the damn files themselves are like 300+ MBs and I spend about two days getting it. Man, life sucks sometimes.

Well, I meant off the topic of Bleach, not manga/anime in general. Probably shouldn't have said it, but I've been kinda scatter-brained these past few days for some reason, heh. Isn't Ranma longer than Kenshin(28 volumes)? Hell, I think Inuyasha(which is still going on, I think) is, too. Damn, Rumiko Takahashi(sp?) is inhuman. On that 500 manga thing, what series are you getting? I'm seriously behind on my Negima manga chapters(download 'em from a site) as my hard drive is taking a serious hit from all the Naruto/Bleach manga and anime I've downloaded for the last six months since I burned some stuff onto CDs to make space(I probably could have bought all the WWE and TNA PPVs this year with the money I tend to spend on blank discs... fuckin' Wal-Mart). As far as recommending stuff I haven't heard or read, with me, it was s-CRY-ed(I had read an article about it like 2 months before the guy asked me for a series to watch) and he didn't like it at all, heh. A friend of mine has Elfen Lied and said it's rather disturbing, so I might have to pass on it for a bit before actually watching it.

Well, Bleach is a rather straight-forward manga(though the comedy is quite good when it comes around) and, as with other manga/anime, it depends on how much you like the characters. You should try and find a few of the first chapters online or browse through the first volume in a bookstore. If you like lots of swordplay in your action shounen manga, then you'll probably like Bleach. Off-topic: I finally finished the Rurouni Kenshin series and damn, Enishi is a beast. Kenshin using the Dragon's Howl to mess him up was one of those things that makes you go, "Why didn't I think of that?" when Enishi busted out the Frenzied Nerves. Wish that Watsuki would have shown what happened to everyone else besides Kenshin, Karou, Yahiko, and Tsubame 5 years later. Even so, I still loved it. Now to start getting into Death Note... my poor wallet.

Heh, sorry about that. I forgot all about outlining the plot while on my mini-rant, so I'll go ahead and do so now for everyone else. Here's the basic lowdown on TB: Earth has just gone through a huge multi-year war with humans on one side and vamps on the other. During the final apocalyptic days of it, pretty much all hell breaks loose and the the two sides come to a stand-still and settle into seperating Eurasia into two parts or something like that(been a while since I watched all 24 eps and don't wanna do it again). Now, Italy, or more precisely, the Catholic Church itself, is the main force behind keeping the vampires from running a muck and making dried out husks of all the humans(oh yeah, the pope's a kid and his two older siblings, brother and sister, pretty much run everything while he's the figurehead). The Church has obviously taken a pro-killing slant on things since they have a special branch of trained people whose only job is to go out and kill vampires whenever they've crossed the border and/or come out of hiding to slaughter some people for food or fun. I'll give the TB creators credit on a few of the weapons in the series, the Inquistion Squads' weapons are admittedly cool. I'll edit some of the characters in later as it's really late and I have to get up early.

Trinity Blood sucks ass. It's pretty much Trigun mixed with Hellsing(with a bunch of pointless religious crap sprinkled in) pretty much without what made those two shows good. Abel Nightroad is such a Vash-wannabe that it gets old after 3 episodes and main female character is practically useless. It's like the creators were pissed someone thought of Trigun and Hellsing first and decided to mold concepts from from both of them into their own piece of crap. I heard the manga is a lot better, but I don't know when it'll be released here.

Damn, Thomson leaves in the second, yet the bullpen manages not to fuck things up for once and the Braves basically beat the crap out of Arroyo with that Andruw shot being the nail if the coffin if they keep it up. Damn, that was a sweet double play, too. Being a Braves' fan this is almost the the most frustrating thing alive...

With Yakumo, it's a bit of personal bias because Hanai is one of my favorite characters. Eri(the blonde) is awesome and they should just go ahead and bite the bullet on her and Kenji hooking up because that seems to be where it's headed with the chemistry they have together. It ceretainly wouldn't be any worse than Harima chasing after dumbass Tenma who's chasing boring ass Karasuma. I'm on episode 9 at the moment because Wannabe Fansubs hasn't put out anymore eps after that for some reason(it's on 13 or 14 in Japan, I think). If I had a choice of going back and not watching it, I think I'd still watch it, but only certain episodes like the Sports Festival episodes near the end of the season.

I personally can't stand Tenma or Yakumo. You pretty much covered Tenma, and with Yakumo, I think it's how she reads people's minds or whatever it is. I guess part of it is me liking Hanai somewhat and she makes he look like an absolute retard when he fawns all over her like seemingly half the school. One thing I think they really seemed the do well is the Lala/Imadori/Ichijou bits(outside of the basketball team episodes which were just boring. I wish they'd just get rid of Asou because the guy is nothing more than an uninteresting pretty boy who adds nothing at all to the show) especially with how Imadori is slowly but surely warming up to Ichijou.

I'm kinda torn on School Rumble at the moment. The show is hilarious when it wants to be, but the way they keep dragging on Harima being missunderstood about who he really likes(though even a complete retard could tell if they looked at his manga like Yakumo or paid attention to how he acts whenever Tenma's ditzy self is around). Personally, it's starting to feel like I'm watching Ranma all over again only without the cursed Chinese springs and forced engagements.

If someone had told me Renaldo Balkman was going to be drafted in the first round of the NBA draft, I'd call that person a fucking moron.

I have every ep except for the most recent one. Personally, no. The Chapter Black saga is okay-ish at times, but other than a possessed Yusuke kicking Sensui's ass into next week, it gets rather dull. The Three Kings saga gets mind numbingly boring when they aren't fighting, sadly.

I just watched the first episode of the new Witchblade series and it's it's almost impossible to follow what happens after the opening monologue. Does anybody else hate when shows do shit like that? Also, I mildly recommend checking out Speed Grapher(well, the first 14 or so eps, actually. After that, it starts getting all creepy with the pedo-factor growing each ep) when it's released. People getting powers based on their sexual preferences = kinda freaky.
