Damn, Jacksonville could have waited til the second round and gotten Pope at TE and gotten a LB in the first... Oh well.

If I were Reggie, I'd be kinda worried about the Texans' schedule this year. It's not just the division opponents like Indy and Jacksonville twice this year, but the South is playing against the East divisions of both conferences this year which means if he does indeed go to Houston, he's facing NE, Dallas, a supposedly improved Giants, Miami(if they don't have a shitload of injuries), Buffalo(the same goes with them), Philly, Washington, and if Bullock gets into the backfield without much resistance, Tennessee. He'll proably feast on the crappy teams on their schedule like the Jets and the Raiders and might luck out and put up decent numbers against a couple of the better defensive teams, but the dude's in for a long year, regardless.

The first anime series I ever watched was Robotech on USA back when I was like 6 years old and it's probably the first toon I ever watched that had a semi-main character die and USA didn't edit it out. After that was Voltron, then Akira, and Vampire Hunter D, and the Unico movies. How good is the manga? Between Kenshin, Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duelist, Prince of Tennis, D.N.Angel, and Negima, I can't afford to check it out at the moment. On Bleach, I think it's supposed to debut on Adult Swim in September and I'm really interested in hearing how it sounds in English and which OP they decide to use if they can't license all of the music.

The irony of why this thread was created got a chuckle out of me...

I read that you have to be around level 80 to even think about fucking with Sephy in KH2.

With the 28th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select: Leonard Pope, Tight End, University of Georgia Physical stats: 6'7, 258 pounds. 40 time - 4.62 Strengths: Pope has great size, leaping ability, excellent hands and a knack for getting open. His size and athleticism brings up a great comparison to Antonio Gates if Gates had played college ball at all before playing for the Chargers. His natural phyiscal skills combined with his great route-running would make him a deadly weapon for QB Byron Leftwich if a play breaks down and he needs to make a quick dump off to avoid a sack. Weaknesses: Can be a better blocker. Doesn't have elite speed like Gates, but it's good enough to get separation from a lmost any LB covering him. Needs more of a mean streak, especially as a blocker. Opinion: Though the Jaguars have needs at strong side linebacker and possibly at guard, one of the low points on the team last year was the play out of the tight end position. Kyle Brady is near the end of his career and George Wrighster hasn't developed like the Jags' coaching staff has wished which has left QB Leftwich to take many bad hits due to not having confidence in them catching the ball. Leonard Pope is another excellent big target that can not only stretch the field and, with a bit more help on technique, help in the blocking schemes. At 6'7, he has the ability to catch passes that would probably sail over the heads of most others and is big enough to break tackles from smaller DBs and LBs to add more yards after the catch that the offense desperately needs to reach the next level in the league.

Dug the first episode, but they really telegraphed the wife dying which kinda annoyed me. Izzy fucking up and getting kicked out was interesting, but killing him off in the first episode seemed kinda wrong as him being loose and potentially snitching on Nick and the others would have been a nice lil side story that could have slowburned to Nick eventually having to take him out to preserve the team a la Vic killing Terry on The Shield.

Watch it at Hooters. I didn't even bother with 21 because nothing on that card seemed worth a damn(though Orton/Taker was kinda neat despite Orton losing), but if Benoit/JBL and the SD main event deliver then I won't have any complaints.

College Hoops: NCAA Tournament Rounds 1 and 2
AlwaysPissedOff replied to SilverPhoenix's topic in Sports
Man, the first round has been rather good for me so far with only two misses(fuck you Seton Hall and Nevada!) and Bama winning was just icing on the cake. Here's hoping tomorrow's as good to me as today was. RRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! -
If it happens, I'll take the Jags again.
-
Exactly how is it marred by the finish? Working over the arm/shoulder isn't going to stop someone from executing a football tackle unless they really don't want to injure it even more. Also, the 3-way from SummerSlam 04 was ass. Jericho had no right to be in that feud, especially after Edge and Batista had that really kick ass match on RAW.

I chose other. The first college game I ever watched was an Alabama game. I can't remember who they played, but they beat the hell out of them and I noticed that the school had the same name as the state() and I became a fan from thereon.

WWE needs to keep the title on John Cena
AlwaysPissedOff replied to UZI Suicide's topic in The WWE Folder
I really hope you aren't serious because damn near none of the heat Eugene's ever gotten comes close to what Cena gets week in and week out. -
Damn, touchdown VT. Baby Vick with a nice pass to the TE.
-
WOW. Nice sack and caused fumble by VT.
-
Damn, Louisville is handing VT their asses today, 24-13.
-
Answer's simple. Tubberville spent too much time bragging about beating Bama that he forgot to gameplan for this week... heh. As far as I'm concerned, fuck the conference shit, I hope Wisconsin embarrasses the living hell out of Auburn.
-
Man, that was emotional as hell for me as a Bama fan. I thought Christinsen missed it at first until I saw the reactions of everyone on the field. What a fucking final drive. ROOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDEEEEEEEE!!!

Heh, thanks. I thought TCU was going to choke when they let ISU get in the red zone TWICE. They better be thanking their lucky stars that Meyer got butterfingers at the worst possible time. Wow, I didn't even notice I won 11 games in a row after going 1-2. Now watch as I completely suck next year!

Love the set, but my only problem with it would be the background music used during the feature because it freaking drwons out whoever's talking at the time. Especially when Bret was talking about Austin, I had to crank the volume up quite a bit just to hear him and Austin both.

YAY! Damn, it feels like 92 all over again... heh.

Okay, I just had a brief problem with spyware that I finally got rid of with Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D, but now, this fucking webpage called needupdate.com keeps popping up instead of my homepage even after I run both programs and delete my cookies(it shows up as a cookie on Ad-Aware). Can someone PLEASE help a brotha out?

Kurt Angle vs. Christopher Daniels
AlwaysPissedOff replied to Corey_Lazarus's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd have to go with Daniels as some Kurt matches tend to annoy the hell out of me. -
I listen to the overnight shows on Sporting News Radio and while the shows are usually good(Kevin Wheeler's in particular), they have so many wackos/gimmick callers calling in all the time that it gets downright annoying after you're listened to their schtick long enough(Jason from Waco, Dave from Whateverthefuck, and the Irish Micky). What's scary is that some of those guys aren't even the worst I've ever heard on the shows like this Blazerman fucktard who's gimmicks seems to be that he'll spout off any sort of conspiracy BS just to piss off Wheeler and doing the same annoying ass laugh after every damn call. People who call during the overnights are one weird buncha assholes. Also, Tim Brando's a complete and utter tool. Smarmy fuckwad, I hope he rots.

Kristen Dunst is one ugly ho. On-topic: I'd pay good money to watch Theo kick Wes' ass. Am I the only one who smells a possible catfight with these chicks on the same damn show again?
