The RVD/Tommy Dreamer match is my favorite just for how overbooked it is. The sequence with the referees and everybody getting a low blow just had me laughing for a few minutes. I agree with whoever echoed the sentiments of wasted potential. RVD had such a strong following by the time ECW ended, if only WWE took advantage.

That was at the very least an insightful interview. I think alot of people 'DO' hate HHH cause he's married to the boss's daughter and actually the "if you believe internet fans I have to beat Flair" sounds like he's been reading these boards.

I post over on RealGM and have heard Kevin Broom talk about this before. He's even been coming up with his own statistics that measure defense for individual players. It's very interesting, the Sonics dramatic improvement this year wasn't a lucky fluke. They took statistics and really used them to improve the team.

I think it's true of all genres, not just horror. Action movies in particular are becoming repetitive. That's why your getting remakes up the yin yang. I think honestly in the history of the world people are going to look back and say the 70's and 80's were the golden era of horror movies. That's when things were still fresh and original, and that's when directors didn't have the same kind of pressure from the studios to cater to a particular audience. Now you hear about a horror movie being messed up by the studios just so it can get a PG-13 rating. I think every once in a while we still get a great horror movie, but todays special effects and all the unneccesary additions make everything seem repetitive. I think you CAN still make an effective horror movie by keeping it simple. The first Halloween was very simple and it remains scary as hell without needing a big budget. Now and days studios expect a crapfest like 13 Ghosts to be a quality horror movie? They expect Busta Rhymes karate kicking Micheal Myers to be scary? Even a movie like the Grudge tries to come off like it's not worried about anything but being scary, and it works as a straight horror movie but it fails because every scare is predictable and proceeded with a huge music build up that makes it predictable. Theirs still original horror movies to be made but I think the studios aren't doing a good job of going for creative ideas instead of stuff that sounds marketable.

The funny thing is that they coulda resigned Chandler at a VERY reasonable amount and had him locked in, but instead they didn't now he is gonna cost them if they make the playoffs. Curry, he was asking for too much anyway, so this ain't gonna make it better. I think they are going to lose one, and if I had to choose, I would keep Chandler. He takes critisism better and seems like he really works hard to better himself. Curry is one buffet away from being Oliver Miller 2. Hey Ripper, how about them Wizards? I could of sworn I said during pre-season that they were legit this year. I stand corrected. I didn't expect the team to defer to Jamison like they should have and now that they have they are winning. Good for them, seeing as I like Larry Hughes. That makes us 1-1 in our "predicting the Wizards success" battle. Yeah but your wrong one standpoint, Jamison hasn't been good at all since November, he's been a roleplayer. He's been the 3rd best player on the Wiz this year behind Arenas and Hughes. Truth be told, it is Gilbert Arenas who has taken charge of the team averaging 26ppg this month while the team has gone 10-2. He's the go to guy, the #1 option, and he's winning games for them on his back this year.

I think people are forgetting Hogan/Warrior. That to me had the most heat ever because it wasn't the crowd all cheering one guy like Rock/Hogan, it was a completely split crowd, as split of a crowd as you can have in a Wrestlemania title match.

Let's GO FALCONS!

Little Monsters, nuff said.

I didn't believe it much, but Marbury really is a loser. The guy dries up wherever he gets traded too and just ends up losing. He says "he's the best PG in the league" and than his team loses 9 out of the next 10, that's horrible. On the Wizards, I told people at the beginning of the year they had enough firepower to compete in the East. Even with Larry Hughes down they have Juan Dixon come in and give em 26 points

Batista sounds pretty knowledegeable about the buisness, so does it hurt the smarks pride when he says HHH is the best? Or are we just going to say he's sucking up in order to keep his posistion.

This is going to sound odd, but playing Tupac in a movie is a huge jynx. Anyone remember the VH1 movie that was basically ripping off the story of Biggie/Tupac? Merlin Santana the guy from Steve Harvey played the Tupac role in that movie and he died last year. Now this, I would not want to be the guy casted to play Pac when they make a movie about him.

I gotta be honest, that really sucks if the Rock has a fallout with the WWE. Rock is still the most entertaining guy on the roster, and it's fun when he comes back. I sort of expect him to see him at Wrestlemania just because he's always there. Hell I don't mind Austin coming back either, because guys like Rock/Austin/Foley are usually great when they come back a few times a year. Those are the guys fans still feel connected too. I know the guy only comes back a few times a year, but keep in mind he doesn't even HAVE to do that. He could easily use the time off from making movies just to relax but instead he's usually in the WWE and putting guys over.

Their still going to win 50 games this year. This just means Arenas will have to carry more of the load.

I think somebody brought it up earlier, but Micheal Vick flat out wins games. Bring up his stats and everything else, at the end of the day your looking at a guy who is a WINNER. Don't be surprised if he takes the Falcons to the Superbowl. I could care less about the guys passer rating, why be a football smark? When watching the game it's easy to see that Vick flat out makes amazing plays. If I was an opposing coach I would never want to face a Vick led team in the playoffs because even if you have a solid gameplan Vick can just out of nowhere make a play that changes the whole game around. Winner, winner, winner. He sells tickets and wins games. He's the most entertaining athlete in sports. Let ESPN hype him, but YOU watch the game and tell me that he isn't the most dangerous player on the field.

Dude...Billy said "fuck this, i ain't running from this invisible bitch" threw down his gun and manned up on a mutha fucking log against the predator with a knife. That brings man tears to my eyes. MAN TEARS. If that doesn't touch you a little, then dammit...you just aren't human. That scene alone makes Predator a great movie. Lol, I thought that scene was bad ass at first... but than you heard him scream like a bitch. He would of gone down as a badass if we didn't hear him scream like a girl as he was getting killed.

Anyone think will get an ultimate Rock collection any time soon?

3 Kings, Barbershop, Boyz in the Hood, Friday, hell I really like Ice Cube.

The best movie made by a wrestler ever is easily Roddy Pipers "They Live".
-
Eddie Murphy's SNL stuff and Delirious/Raw definetly put him up there with the best ever. Most of his 80's stuff was gold, he's definetly a comedy legend despite becoming a horrible family movie oriented guy from the mid 90's on.

I'm glad Nip Tuck is getting some props. -

Yeah the negativity here is a bit disturbring. For WWE fans, you can't really deny that HBK isn't one of the best wrestlers in WWE history. Maybe worldwide he doesn't rank with the best, but in North America he would certainly be in my top 15. He had good to great matches with alot of different guys. He never really got a shot to work with guys like Angle/Benoit/Guerrero in his prime. Considering who he had to work with, he had one of the best years of anybody in 1996. He arguably had the match of the year 4 years in a row in North America. I definetly consider him one of the all time greats from a North American perspective. Bret Hart is treated like some legend right? I think Shawn is right up there with Bret.

I think they could of built up Lita's title win a little more if they had actually let Trish get the advantage in the weeks before. Lita broke Trish's nose and than pinned her in a tag match, if anything Trish should of been the won looking for revenge so I don't really see it as a "the face overcomes the odds scenario". I also don't know where you go with the womens division now. Does Lita feud with Molly Holly? Where does Trish go from here?

The Wizards have the best record in the Eastern Conference.
