To be honest, I used to be a pretty die-hard wrestling fan. Ever since the gradual parade of stupid shit they've done since mid-2001, I've watched less and less, and catch perhaps one show every month or two. Trips is part of the problem, but not all of it. If he did get crippled right now, you'd still see the same effect in the company..nobody really getting over, and someone dominating the entire show. The problem with the company lies in their booking, writing, and "talent" hiring staff..all of which aren't too bright. Not to mention the ENTIRE McMahon crew, which are just out of touch with reality.. Even if HHH dissapeared from the scenes entirely, the storylines would still be stupid, useless talent would still suck up TV time, and they'd still be doing shit everyone hates. (Diva Search, anyone?)

No problem. I'm thinking about starting a new campaign...probably Egypt. *loves chariots* They're the next best thing to Elephants when it comes to plowing through infantry..

Actually, on the official site, it lists:

The whole "You don't have to speak English" bit kinda bothers me, for some reason. I don't think any other group was really catered to that way, so why are people that speak Spanish any different? I sure as hell know that if I moved to another country, I'd be expected to learn the language there, or suffer, right? Then again, it may just be me being bitter. I love paying absurdly high school taxes, in order to support the 12,000-something illegal immigrants in HISD. Ones they care so much about, they used more tax money to build a school just for them. Go figure.

Pretty much anything. I can cook with a recipe, but a lot of times I don't need one.

IGN to sell ads to be put in games

I don't really trust websites for game reviews. I'll read them for the features/bugs/bad points the games have, but the ratings are screwy. I don't particularly like magazines, either..but OXBM seems to have their head screwed on straight. Except for the occasional case of stupidity. (Crashes in racing games "Not spectacular enough" popped up as a negative in several of their reviews. ) Gamespot tends to give reviewers who hate particlar genres games IN that genre. Like Steel Batallion, given to a guy that hates mech games. -
EA's evil because they're the laziest bastards on earth, and rely only on their huge cash pile, and thousands of brainless Madden marks to save them. When something gets tough, they start shelling out cash. Not to mention their PS2 quality Xbox games, and refusing to patch broken PC games until the sequel gets announced.

Project Gotham 2: Good selection of cars, and a pretty good challenge. NFS Underground 2: Mediocre Ricer-mania. Burnout 3: "Ooh..look at the pretty crashes!" Gets boring fairly soon.

'cept Love Hina is Bandai.. I do prefer to buy, myself. I like to see the show before I do, unless it's by a director that I like. Sometimes, DVD releases are unacceptable, though. Bandai's recent Zeta Gundam box (Retailed for almost $200, paid about $130 for it) didn't have the original openings and endings, because they were too cheap to pay for it. They also convinently forgot to tell anybody, so it shipped without anyone knowing.

Rightstuf has good weekly sailes, and sometimes good stuff on the daily ones. If you just want to download, try Here. They've got complete series only.
-
Not really. They can keep making you suicide your leaders..or will turn on you the next turn anyway. The AI's kind of odd when it comes to diplomacy..
-
In reality, it'll be amazing if they do more than try to increase the graphics again, and sneak in more minigames disguised as "gameplay upgrades".
-
..and actually, that file's a self-extracting EXE. You don't really have to do anything.
-
Yeah. I'm guessing it's because the game won't let you give yourself missions, policy, and such..
-
It unlocks everything, immediately.

5. http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/16.html That site's great, because it's got loads of subbed anime. It's all unlicensed stuff, though.

Just thought I'd add a couple things. frogbeastegg's Guide to Rome: Total War: Here An awesome, in-depth guide to the game. Eighty something pages that cover just about everything you can think of, from basic operations to strategy to game mechanics. Really, really helps. Total War Center: Here Various stuff, but handy especially for the mods. Grab this to have all factions playable in the Imperial Campaign, complete with maps, descriptions, and leader portraits.

Y'know, I don't think I've ever actually finished watching Macross. If you're going to get it on DVD, buy it now, because it's going OOP, likely for good. TRSI has it going for $37 a box (3 boxes), which is the cheapest you'll find it anywhere. These things were much, much more than that when it came out. As far as Gundam goes, I've seen most of them. Gundam SEED's okay, if you don't mind the main character being a crybaby. The unfortunate thing is that it takes half the series (30 eps) to get good. The mecha designs are also uninspired for the most part, and the CG is ugly. The character designer also seems to have only one face.. I don't like Wing, so I'll keep it short. It's a bunch of pretty boys running around in basically invincible robots, with some really intolerable writing. G Gundam's great. Especially because it's so different from the rest of Gundam, and has a minimum of angst. So are the original Gundam (the only subtitled release are the movies), and Zeta Gundam, which was just released. I know some people don't like the older animation, but screw them.

One trick I've found is to mass spearmen (about four units deep), and nail the elephants with flaming arrows. Chariots are little bastards, too. Some of my favorite units have to be Wardogs..useful, and unless the trainers die, they regenerate after battle..
-
Delete centers it on the unit you've got selected.
-
Is it just me, or is the AI city management just incredibly stupid? Even when I set it to "Save", they still make me bleed money..by producing lots of units, and useless buildings. (Not every city has to have all the latest military producing buildings..) I hope this patch fixes it.
-
I've played the previous two (Shogun and Medieval) , but Medieval didn't catch my interest like Shogun did. Rome, however, is awesome. My only gripe is that some of the minor factions are non-playable..
-
Sounds like another gimmick to me. No thanks.
-
Except that the DC was ..y'know..good. Just wound up having really bad timing, and drowned in a sea of PS2 overhype.

Create the Worst. Videogame. E-EHH-EHHHVAR!!
El Psycho Diablo replied to Elbarto997's topic in Video Games
I'd rather play Raw 2 than SDvRaw, personally. The CAW's better, and I'm not that into minigames that are supposedly upgrades. (Oh, my..the thrilling Choip Battle! The Stare Down Match! The Shove!) I'll put down C&C Generals for my take. Start with one fairly respected RTS franchise. Begin developing sequel to said franchise. Halfway through the development cycle, force the developers to change it after the events of 9/11. Give no thought to optomizing the game engine, or hunting for bugs. Release the retail game, which is strangely similar to the beta. Buggy, unbalanced, and laggy as hell. Release an expansion pack that fixes a few bugs, but creates about a hundred more. "Patch" it twice, one of which breaks the AI..making it take up MORE CPU power, and lagging even worse. Then proceed to ignore the community's request to fix the game.. ...until a sequel to the "real" C&C franchise is released a year later. Then, in a pathetic attempt to regain customer loyalty, release another patch..that happens to be exactly the same as a community-made balance patch. None of the problems with the game engine are ever fixed..
