Discussion: Possible DC Universe Movies
El Psycho Diablo replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in Television & Film
The Captain Marvel movie is already happening, actually. -
Except that for the numbers of zombies on-screen, Dead Rising may as well have been a last gen game. Anyway, the thought of that on the Wii is rather amusing. The novelty with the motion controls will wear off rather fast, I'd assume. I wonder if they'll bother fixing the AI at all?
-
Well, it sounds good, but we've heard gushing previews like that how many times before?
-
I can't believe there isn't a topic about this yet. Anyway: http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/ Trailers, art, etc, etc.
-
Given that Diablo 3 is NOT an MMO, no.
-
Punk? Champion? Ugh. Must be nice to be at the head of that "least likely to get busted for a Wellness violation" list.
-
I'm assuming the Amazon's getting whacked, due to the fact they'll have both genders for each class now.
-
There's a new Macross show, Macross Frontier, airing right now.
-
Since it's going to be in the next Super Robot Wars game, I finally decided to get around to watching The Big O. Great show, even if I didn't particularly care for the twist at the ending. Big O Damn CN for not funding a third season.

I've come to the conclusion that Nico is a moron. Too many of these missions wind up being him announcing something along the lines of "I'm here to kill you!". Which naturally results in yet another "chase him down and kill them" sequence. I fucking hate that.

Someone else has to have read the DC Universe Zero book, right? Some interesting things in there. Including the other Lantern Corps..and
-
The only complaint I have about this is that unlike Saints Row, the shops are all locked from the beginning. It's supposed to be an open world game, but I can't even get more than the basic clothing stores without going through the storyline?
-
Given the fiasco over modding San Andreas had, I somehow doubt Rockstar will even bother with a PC release this time.
-
The dub isn't bad, really. Watched it on the AS site. I'm going to get the DVDs anyway, and I like the fact they're releasing the entire show in three chunks.
-
Same. San Andreas just had too many annoyances to really be any fun, IMO. Aside from a couple of infuriating missions, SR is hands down better. Still can't wait to get GTAIV, though.
-
As I've said elsewhere, I'd rather have had the MUA guys get their hands on a DC license. This is just Midway trying to make MK relevant again.

King of the Ring tournament to return
El Psycho Diablo replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
The IWC has this habit of latching onto guys that are just bland. -
I don't remember, but I know it was before they retitled the series Smackdown vs Raw. HCTP, maybe?
-
I miss the days where SD! would let you climb up the sets (like on top of the Tron, the SD! fist, or the KOTR chair).
-
Or changing genders with a magic wand..
-
I've found a grand total of two episodes that are subbed. Other than that..
-
The Pepsi tattoo is absent in SD! 2008, IIRC. So there is something.
-
Really, I think Punk's "no drugs" shtick is getting him farther than anything he's ever done in ECW. He may be generic looking with a bunch of lame tattoos, but they're going to give him bigger chances because he won't get nailed taking (insert substance) like a lot of other guys might.

I liked Saints Row better than San Andreas, too. The level of customization you have generally blows it away, and you're not forced to do the storyline to unlock areas, stores, or anything else. There are a few annoying missions (I hate trying to drive and shoot at the same time), but not in the amount that SA had. Plus, SR2 will have co-op campaign, which makes it a huge DO WANT in my book.
