The One and Only Smackdown! HCTP Thread

Or you could just get into a title match, and just grab the steel chair. Same diff. ...assuming you've got enough overness to get a title match. -
Atlanta = 16 And to you people who need to know the system is as such: A > B - Then I choose B. If it's A < B - Then I choose A. Got it? Good. Carolina < Dallas Detroit > Minnesota Indianapolis < Buffalo Jacksonville > N.Y. Jets New England < Houston New Orleans > Philadelphia Pittsburgh > Cleveland Seattle < Baltimore San Francisco > Green Bay [LOCK] Chicago > Denver St. Louis < Arizona Cincinnati > San Diego Oakland > Kansas City Tennessee < Atlanta Washington > Miami N.Y. Giants > Tampa Bay (Monday Night Game)

Sadly, I doubt we'll ever see a 3rd Shining Force remake. Because it was on Sega CD and because the company that does the game has a new series that they are currently in love with (ie: Golden Sun). I think a lot of people don't give Phantasy Star series the love it needs. It was an awesome series (albeit, some storylines were shabby), but frankly, Phantasy Star 4 (which is apparently getting a remake WOOO~!) is by far the most underappreciated RPG out there. I'm an elitist and I loved the game. Just you beat me to mentioning it. Also, I could post up the same thing about Phantasy Star 4 (or the entire series) having a huge cult following, but the game (and series) also doesn't get the love it deserves too. It's just one of those things.

No the attributes or XP that is built up for one person can not be transferred to someone else. It is set to that same person. If you really wish to build up that XP quick, my suggestion is just put it on easy, and just blitz through the matches to build up your CAWs. Saves time, energy, and getting continually whooped. Then again, I'm taking my 70 overall CAW through Smackdown difficulty next so I'll let you know how that goes. -

Along those lines, I am also wondering if there's a way to go out the cage door in regular cage matches... If you have a heel wrestler, you need to go with the classic heel move, after all. One other question, despite scanning through the instruction manual (which I almost NEVER do, mind you), I was unable to find a way to drag my opponent across the mat. The reason I bring this up is because inevitably, when I hit a finisher, my opponent ends up right next to the ropes. Sometimes, I can get between him and the ropes when I go to make a pin attempt, but that doesn't always work. Any ideas? I don't think there is a way to grasp someone and do all the heelish stuff into a regular cage yet, I haven't found a way. Oh, and as for the drag the person's body away from the ropes and such... Just press and hold the O button. Do not hit a directional button while doing so. You'll then see the animation for pulling someone and THEN hit the direction button that you wish to drag the person too. Beware though, the time you use to move that person will allow them to recover slightly from whatever manuver you have just completed in doing. As you are, in essence, giving them a rest time. -
And in a WTF moment, I have the latest RaveX update out. Yes, 19 is now useless, which scares me as I didn't even get to start playing it. The latest one is RaveX 20. ^ should know that < didn't mean it that way in truth.

High charisma, menacing, and probably high brawl.

Andrew, yah, I should know it's joking, and yet, I'm not happy about you guys mocking her about it. Yes, she is pushy and yes, she does slap it in our faces sometimes, but when you guys add few to the fire, then she'll probably do it more often. Just food for though. Excuse me on thinking you were out to bash her. The way you had worded it, I assumed you were like others out there that just bash her, and frankly, I'm getting a little tired of seeing it. However, the other part still stands. The game has been out for more than 3 years. As I stated earlier, if you haven't played it by now, you ain't in a rush to. And if you ain't in a rush to play it, why should you suddenly care? Are you going to go out of your way of playing through it? If so, then I do apologize for getting on your case about it. If you aren't suddenly going to play the game, then I still apologize for my harshness, but my ground still stands. If it's been this long, and you are in no fashion to get the game finished and it's been about 3+ years, then I don't see why I should put spoilers on it. That's my opinion on it as such. Besides, this title would indicate spoilers are within the thread. It's about sappy things that got ya choked up, which would then mean that you would HAVE to spoil it to tell what it is. I mean, I don't just want to say "I got choked up from FFIV". ...well, for what reason? And I'm sorry, but using spoiler tags is time consuming to the person who is reading this thread. I mean, I don't want to go through every single post and highlight spoiler tags. I just want to read what other people have to say and be done with it. Yes, some things might be spoiled, like endings or such, but you know what? I play the games for the enjoyment of the games. If someone spoils something, well, I know about that before hand. I should still be able to enjoy what that game has to offer because it appeals to my sense of what I like in a video game. If because I find that knowing that spoiler hinders the game in any way from knowning, then I've probably been making excuses about how I like the game when really I don't. And if you had read the rest of my post, which apparently I'm guessing you skipped or didn't read, you would've seen that although I disagree with the idea of 3+ year old games getting spoilers, I was still kind enough to put spoiler tags on the stuff I was spoiling. Also to keep the topic on track, I'd like to add that I thought it was sad about the whole situation at the end of FFX. However, I like how it wasn't the happy ending, but really just and ending to what it was. Hence why I won't accept FFX-2 as a real game or sequel.

That is assuming you both manage to win this week and the next to be at 10-2.
-
^ name is a ripoff of AngelSlayer.
-
Well, if I hadn't known about it first hand, I'm quite sure I wouldn't have noticed. Edit: Yes, it looks nice, but seriously, I didn't get that much of a glimpse. Maybe it was cut on the replay but it was like only 5 seconds. Not even.
-
It's already been done. I don't know where, because I don't really wanna know, but it's probably already been done.
-
Amazingly, guess what? I saw the replay on TSN and they are notorious for clamping down on stuff like that. They missed it. Although, it wasn't terribly noticable.
-
That scares me... For some reason. They are pretty good, but that thought scares me.
-
Ok, so I'm watching the replay (as I missed it the first time) and I must admit: whoever the fuck booked this isn't apart of RAW. Cause it makes too much sense. And I'm enjoying it. A lot... Dammit. I can't bitch about this show at least much.
-
I think the only two teams that have their playoff hopes down are the Titans and Jets.
-
Yeah, I did well in the goaltending area for a few weeks there, but then Theodore stopped getting shutout every other game, and since Montreal has a horrible offense, if he gives up 3 goals, they're going to have trouble winning. Also, once Hasek came back I decided to drop Joseph and pick up Fleury, since I figured he'd be playing a lot more. I know he won't win much, but he does face a ton of shots, so that should help boost me up in the saves section (assuming he plays again). Sadly, the Pens will use him for 60 games. I say sadly, because they are going to burn that guy. If there was a good team in front of this guy, I'd say he'd probably have won more games and have better stats.
-
^ has an interesting sig.
-
I think that's what's making this interesting. With 3 goaltenders, people with 3 good starters, you've got a great because you can basically OWN that area. But for next year, I think we should do something along the lines of two centers, two left wings, two right wings, four defensemen, and 5 benchers just to add more something different. Goaltending should remain the same.
-
That was so, but a week before training camp, suddenly everything was alright and a deal (no details) was about to be signed. Then it fell though.
-
No offense, but I was pointing out that as a reason as to his holdout. Not trying to pin the blame on that as the problem. As far as I'm concerned, as long as someone puts up a nice production that wins us games, that makes them a star. I don't care all the guy did was block a shot and be lost for the rest of the season. If that blocked shot stops it from the net, guy's a star in my opinion. I just want my team to win. If they brought in Oates, hopefully it pays off.
-
MD, no offense, but if the game is over 3 years old, I shouldn't HAVE to put spoilers on it. Because as I had originally said, if it's been 3 years and you haven't played that game, most likely you aren't about to break out in a mad rush to do so. Edit: I can't fucking spell or put sentences together worth a fucking damn today.

Target offers "Greatest Hits" titles for $15
Lightning Flik replied to Cartman's topic in Video Games
MWAHAHAHAAHAHA~! Sucks to be you HartFan~! ...too bad I don't have Target stores in Canada. -
Firstly, I corrected what you meant to say. And secondly, most people buy the stuff to go online because they expect great games for online. Not many games have been their cup of tea and hence why they aren't getting the games. I rented at one time, but lately it's becoming futile to do so. You just KNOW when it's going to be bad, if you take the time to read up on it and find out. However, I have gone by word of mouth because that's most often the time when you'll find out the best and worst of a game. Then you take the game info and slap it all together to get an idea of what's your decision. Buy or not. I've been muling over purchasing FFXI for PC. I'd buy it for my PS2, but I'm used to playing MMORPGs on my computer. Hence is another reason.
