Ah, I see. That would likely work. I prefer targeting just the guys that are interesting in me and working from there. I also just split my training, recruiting, and disp. around right down the middle; you've probably got it set higher for recruiting I would assume. I think I'll start up a dynasty for another created indepenent team next (not sure what city yet, probably a US city). I mean, I like my Toronto Blue Raiders, but I think I need to start a little lower on the totem pole in terms of talent. That and just for the amusement.

Considering everything the Bruins have been through in the past year, I don't know if Bergeron will sign a 6 year deal. Hemksy gave up a year of his FA to sign his, and I don't think Bergeron will do the same.

How is it too easy? I'm only able to aquire 7 5* people. Still best in NCAA, but not that much better than Ohio State (who recruited 4 people).

Leena, I don't really have that problem. I just sign the 5s and 4s, grab hold of a promising few lowbies, and viola. I've got my team. Rotate a few around and good to go. If I don't really need anyone this upcoming season, I don't think I'll go hunting for anyone. Although, I've got like 13-20 players leaving, and I'm guessing that Hunter and Sanders will finally leave my program this coming season (unless these guys really are wanting to stock up their draft stock), so I'll probably need some players. I don't think I'm gonna go out buying the farm like I did this past off season (22 Freshman, 11 red shirted). Oh, and just what the hell does red shirting do anyways? I never got that. Other than it adds a year.

No it was 7 minutes. But it was 35-18 at the half. That means 110 pts were scored in that last half. I had the same thing happen in my first season. There was 6 undefeated teams (don't ask, I don't know). Funnier yet, none of them qualified for the National Title game. And this past season that I just finished, West Virginia got screwed out of playing me. However, they lost their game, so it really didn't matter. That and I won. I think the pre-rankings are totally dependant on the status of your team and the recruiting you do and not what you did the past season. West Virginia dropped from a #3 last year, all the way to 22nd. Ohio State which was 15 last year, is starting this season at #2. Texas Longhorns were #6 at the end, move up to #3. Naturally, I booked both teams in my starting weeks. Also I had an awesome off-season for recruiting, by nabbing 7 ***** players. I'm in a great position to make yet another run for a National Championship. However, I've got like 5QBs and 6HBs right now. 4 freshman for each and a total of 33 freshman overall.

So here I am accomplishing yet another great season in which I'm undefeated and going on to play, once again, the Miami Hurricanes for the ACC Title. So we're pretty much even steven for most of the match. I'd score, they'd score. 21-16 just before the half. Then it happened. An INT and a fumble by Miami and I'm up 35-16. I figured "ok, its over. This game will suck". Its been a pretty solid game by both teams (sans the INT and fumble). Then the second half gets all weird. Miami just decides to air the ball out. Soon its 38-34. Well, I just get pissed about this and I'm like "ok, fine. Monkey see, monkey do!" So both teams just start air bombing each other in probably what was the greatest air raid display the nation will ever see for the second half. But of course, I managed to do better, blowing'em up 108-55. Both teams threw for nearly 700 yards. It was just a wild, wild game and I loved every minute of it.

I think its more about security than about $ for some players. Sure you get the 4$ for one year, but htere's no guarentee that the next year when you are an FA, someone's gonna pay that with all the money that just got tossed around right now at players.

Well, I wasn't sure what we'd used. And its a little harder to determine what characters would classify for an anime HoF.

I finally get to continue my Year 2, I continue my dominance of ACC. I'm kinda happy that I'm doing so well. Maybe I'll get invited to another division (probably not), because if it takes having to wait for the Volunteers to lose for me to reclaim my #1 ranking, I'd rather be independent. Well, at least there's only 4 more games this season and then hopefully a National Title game awaits me.

Actually, for Negima itself, I could honeslty deal with it till just after the test. Up to that point, it wasn't that bad. Of course, they had changed directories at that point and then it went to hell. But yeah, they really screwed it up badly. Can't believe that Ken went along with it. ...and if we're to do an Anime HoF, how would we go about criteria for letting in characters? And do we include hentai, or no?

I was trying to get you to rewatch it atomsk. MoSH is my favorite anime, so of course I'll try subliminally try to get you to watch it again. Well, I watched the first episode and I liked it; particulary towards the ending. I didn't find myself compelled to watch more however. I think we'd probably need to split up anime movies and series because movies would get more nominations and get-ins based on the current basis. Just like MoSH, I think we'll need to wait till long going series Bleach and Naruto are over for at least two years; to see if they get in. Because everyone would pimp them to be in. Its like Inuyasha. I originally started I would've nominated it in. Now? Hell no. ...speaking of Inuyasha, I think you'd almost hafta nominate the manga. Its still going at 50+ and still being bought up like crazy. If you mean first for MoSH, as in the actual first, go to the second episode. If you liked the first, you'll love #2. #1 just gets you introduced to the characters and sets up things for the future (since that is after all, episode 10 or 11). The second episode is actual the true first one. That I have to mention my thoughts on: I'm thinking that any Gundam series that was associated with the original Gundam story (the universe Amuro Ray (IIRC) had the main Gundam in) would count into one series, while all SIDE Gundam series (G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Turn A Gundam (not sure on this one) would be seperate from that story. But that's just my view on the subject. You see, this is where we'd run into problems. Because if you do that with the regular universe, you'd hafta do it with Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon, and that would create headaches.

I'm not sure... I mean technically yes, it is an anime she's from yet at the same time... Honest don't really know if she should be allowed.

But what would be basing criteria on for things to make it into the HoF? I'm thinking it should be the following: ~ How big of a phenomia its was in Japan ~ How well it transcends from Japan to the rest of the World ~ Should at least be a few years old (debatable), so as to see how a newer show (such as MoSH) does. ~ Anime must also be one of the front runners for it age. Meaning the music hasta be great, the drawings must be the best for its age, and it hasta have a great story. ~ Also you can't nominate like a whole series that split up. So each Gundam would hafta be nominated seperately. (debatable) Anything else or did I cover most of the bases? I'm not sure how the characters would work, I'll leave that up to someone else to figure out.

I think FF7 is the only Final Fantasy that I bothered getting all the secrets because it wasn't a pain in the ass to do so. Even some of FF4s secrets were not fun finding.

Hm... I guess it'll be like Inuyasha to me, so I'll pass for the time being and get it later. As for what you should pick up next, I recommend the following: Ouran Host Club Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Shakugan no Shana If we're talking series, I would hafta included The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I know most people are probably gonna say "why..." but this show went from a general nothing to exploding into a huge cult phenomia over in Japan practically with the second show. Its also so big that it blew out Fate Stay Night's (which was just finished) post totals on 2chan by I believe the fifth episode.

Try this for SNES9X: Display Configuration. Uncheck mark automatic frameskip. Then lower the frame rate skipping from 0 to 9 till you get the speed where you need it to be. It might also help if you check mark "Use Frame Rate Limiter", but you must have automatic frameskip checked first, then check rate limiter, then uncheck the automatic frame skip. That should help you with SNES9X

Pretty much, yes. There aren't many things, but stuff that did get edited out I felt no need to do so. Ah, ok. I thought you didn't, so I was just saying I knew the main site. And yeah, dial-up isn't fun. I'm hoping I get the job. Because the first project I'd be working on is the remake of Kanon so that should be fun. Kyoani is doing it, and since I loved what they did with MoSH, I can't wait to see what its like. Ah, that's pretty good deal on discs. I could see why you don't use HDs at that price. Then again, I got my two HDs on sale, so yeah... As for the sticking to 3 manga series, that sucks. I'm currently running around ...well a lot ... not including my huge purchase coming up (but those will be complete). My new job allows me to get a lot of manga recently. I think I've bought at least 500$ worth just within the last month or so (I went to a convention though so...). It's a decent series to watch when there's really nothing else on, but the characters get annoying as hell the farther you get into the show. As far as the series I'm following at the moment: Naruto, Bleach, School Rumble Ni Gekki(WannabeFansubs finally started back doing 'em), Yugiou GX, and Digimon Savers(stop laughing). Tried following Blood+, but I got way behind after episode 4 and gave up. I need to get into a couple more series, but the site I get GX from acts all wonky and doesn't release the raws til like Thursday or Friday at the earliest and then the damn files themselves are like 300+ MBs and I spend about two days getting it. Man, life sucks sometimes. Ah, its one of those types. No thanks, got my share via Gundam with Kira (and his Godness, ugh). I like Naruto but its dragging so much when trying to follow the anime. It was like Inuyasha, I just couldn't take the no real payoffs. As for Bleach I'll hafta look into it. Oh, and Wannabe isn't the only one subbing it. A fansub know as Your Mom is also subbing it. ...no that's not a joke on the fansub groups name. How is Digimon Savers? I've heard some people tell me to give it a chance because its not bad. The previewer/reviewer known as Omni (who runs Random Curiousity) is currently watching Blood+ and it seems quite interesting. I'm half tempted to go out of my way picking it up, but I don't know. What do you like about FMA? I can probably recommend a few depending on what you consider its strong points. ...and has anyone ever heard about an anime getting a remake only a year later? Because the Negima anime series is getting a "second season" however there's now speculation that it could be a total remake of Negima. I don't think I've ever heard of any anime that gets a remake a year later.

Hm... Didn't think about that part of the fanboys starting fights. that would be a problem and would likely need something to be done about it. Why not just make it that the information gets passed out during media, and the public part is just about seeing the games in action and stuff?

I just meant to say, if the costs are really that bad, a way to eleviate costs is to open it up to the public. And as I was saying, it would be reasonable to have the first few days media only as per usual, then make it public. This way you can still have E3 be E3, but then also have the public put back a little money into E3 and lower the financial burden. It might even help lower the cost so that smaller developers can get a stage at E3. I know it would screw things up being a convention thingie, but if the costs are really that bad, maybe you should do something like that to help down set them. I'm quite sure the media doesn't pay for its passes, so it is a pretty expensive task putting up at E3 all that for no gain. Hm, didn't realize that it was just EA saying they don't want to spend money. And as I said above you set it up for media for the first three days like usual; then set it up for public the next three for the public. Probably toss a day in between to modify it so the public can get in and viola. About the only way you'd reduce costs of E3 is to go public with it. Sorry about making my post seem like its the only way, but it would be one way to lessen the financial blow (and acting like an ass too), I would say.

Wow... That's highly insulting and I'd be quite upset being compared to one of them. ...normally. But meh. After being away for a year, I'm probably just letting loose and trying to establish I'm back in as an abrupt and abusive manner as possbile, so probably justifiably said. ...now then... Speaking of bosses like Ozma, why the hell do games lately have shitty final bosses? I mean, you get this secret super character boss, but the regular end boss is a joke. Well, I meant off the topic of Bleach, not manga/anime in general. Probably shouldn't have said it, but I've been kinda scatter-brained these past few days for some reason, heh. No worries. Happens to the best of us. Ranma is about 40 volumes. And yeah, Rumiko is sure taking her sweet time with Inuyasha. ...I'll admit I was a fan of Inuyasha, till the third season was still a rehash of everything else that had happened and nothering progressed. And yes, Inuyasha is nearly at 50 volumes and still running. Rumiko is also the highest paid mangaka in Japan, so I don't think she'll stop Inuyasha. I'm not exactly sure concerning the manga. I know I'm getting a lot of stuff I don't already have, but at the same time, I'm not exactly sure. I was promised a list but I keep forgetting to ask for it. My bad really. I'm probably gonna be getting Bleach and probably Kenshin, so I'll finally get to read those two series. Other than that, I'm not sure. If you need to be caught up on Negima, I'm up to chapter 142 I think, so I could probably help you out in getting the rest. ;; As soon as I find my GB disk that has the earlier chapters on it. Viz/Shonen Jump and Tokyo Pop are established favorites, and while ADV's translation of Azumanga Daioh started out rough, I'm glad they acknowledged that they couldn't continue screwing with things and got it fixed halfway through the first volume. I hate Tokyo Pop. They hacked Love Hina. I know because I have the original scanlation of it and I ain't happy they do stuff like that. I prefer Del-Rey because although they are inexperienced, the quality they produce is a lot better. Funny enough though, the longer xxxHOLiC goes, the more I'm liking it. Considering I've got the floor (for the moment), what series is everyone following currently? I'm faithfully following Ouran Host Club, Inukami, Utawarerumono, and Zero no Takaima. Following but haven't caught up on the following: Strawberry Panic, School Rumble ni Gekki, and Tsubasa. Ouran Host Club is about the prestigeous high school's (Ouran) Host Club and all the wacky adventures of these boys (the Host Club) who have plenty of time, spending quality time with girls who have plenty of time, and rookie Haruhi as she tries to pay off her debt to the Host Club as a Host. Now, you might ask, don't you mean "Hostess"? Well, no. You see, the Host Club is a "boys only" club. Inukami's absolutely hilarious show about this guy named Keita and his Inukami as they defeat spirits and the like. I can't really say more because its like MoHS and that I could totally turn you off or blow the surprises if I speak about it. Utawarerumono is about a feudal times era show that revolves around Hokuro and his journey. With no memory and only a name given to him by the village that rescued him, he sets out to find something for him in this life. Sadly though, there are things that plot to ruin his life because of the past he can't remember. Zero no Takaima is a story about a noble Louise, nicknamed Zero Louise because she can't cast a spell right, and her summoning of her familiar, the commoner from earth Hiraga Saito! ...yeah, I suck at summaries in the middle of the night, so sue me. I'm also trying not to spoil everything cuase I do that. As you can probably also guess the ones with longer descriptions have been longer running so I've got a better idea of what to talk about as well.

Hey, Triple K. I'd just like to let it be known that if possible, I'd like back into my old division. So I'd like the Panthers. I know there's 3 people ahead of me who'd get to choose an unused team before me, but if I can't have my Falcons (and I know I won't be able to), I'd at least like to be the guy crushing them on my way to a division title.

The problem with that is that there's so much media there, if it was opened to the public it would be extremely crowded. Maybe if the public was limited. Also the fee's to go to E3 are extremely expensive. You see, that's why you make it a week long thing, have the first few days media only and then you allow the regular people in to enjoy the game. ...dude, I paid "measly" $25 for a 3 hour visit to an anime convention (I couldn't stay the whole day). People will pay, especially if you make it like a rock show. Hell, ask The Black Mages to do a couple of songs and you'll see how damn quickly it'll sell out and how easily people will pay to go. The problem is you won't ever get to see each of the big three trying to fuck the other over. Because they'll never agree to being at the same place now. And they certainly won't feel the need to upshow each other and spend time at their own shows. I personally loved how this year both M$ and Wii ...excuse me, Nintendo, kept screwing aroudn with the "hey, you can buy both our systems for a PS3"
