OMG BAN AGNES PLZE~!

*COUGHxenosagaCOUGHepisodeCOUGHoneCOUGH* Sorry.... Bad cough.

*sighs* THIS (^) is why that movie is coming out. To finally put to rest people arguing over what really happened. And to personally piss off a lot of fanfic writers who devoted countless hours to making sure they had a very well thought out story that made sense.

What do you think was RPG of last year on a console? Personally, I thought for what Kingdom Hearts brought, it deserved to be considered... Compared to a lot of stuff. Yes, I restrict it to console, because I don't think consoles games should be put into the same category as computer games, but that's a whole different beast. Ok my top 5. 1) Arc The Lad: The Collection. Four games, a worthy story (that was if you kill of 3 and never consider Arc 4) and a lot of stuff to do. Although this finally got a US release date and technically should be thought of seperately, I thought it was the whole package. Comedy, funny stuff, sad parts, and just outrageous. It had a lot and then some. 2) Kingdom Hearts - This gets second place due to the fact that the menu system was awkward and detracted from the play. That and well, it really didn't do anything to answer a lot of questions. 3) Legaia 2 - Although it was pretty much bland on the story (as in, been there and done that) it was balanced out with it's fighting system (although, it got a little button mashy) and just overall achieved wellness. 4) Wild Arms 3 - gets fourth on my list of a top 5. It's a little drawn out (in my opinion) compared to 1 or 2, but the story definitely is better than 2. My only complaint is that lvling still is a pain in the arse as it never seems like you lvl up (as you are more dependant on getting your ARMs built up). 5) Tactics Orge: Knight Of Lodis - The beginning of the Tactics Orge series kicks off with a good start. Although, it's not as story heavy as many RPGs out there, it's still pretty darn good. Honorable Mention: Mega Man Battle Network 2 AS for Grandia Xtreme being on someone's list at all is a shocker to me. Can you please tell me how this "genius battle system" is any better than say, Grandia 2? Since it was THAT just add a few details here and there. There was no difference. Music though, was good, but if you had to back trail to get eggs, it got repeditive fast.

Apologize is spelt apologise? In Canadian English? You mean I've been writing that word wrong for God knows how long? And none of my English teachers have ever corrected me on it. ...damn. You'll have to accept my apologizes in getting it wrong.

Uh, how exactly? I was quite satisfied with what I got. Considering it was made by Disney as well, I was expecting crap since that's what most of their games are. And considering SquareEnix has been kinda slacking off (well, only the Square side, Enix really doesn't do too much NA side) and some of the games seem half assed. I was quite happy that Kingdom Hearts was a good game.

Crimson Storm vs. Field Of Honor THE TALE OF THE STORY~! Field Of Honor: Advantages - Doesn't suck. Disadvantages - Rocks it hard. Chances of Winning - Only God or Satan could give him a loss. Crimson Storm Advantages - Had God intervine and brough Bledsoe into negative points last week. He'll need God's timely preformance once again to intervine and just create havoc to Field of Honor Disadvantages - God usually only preforms miracles only once. Chances of Winning - Is there even a chance? And that's the story of the match up of Field of Honor vs. Crimson Storm, who are so appropiately named "Crimson Storm" as the team is just a oozing pile of injuries and nothingness.

Name change and redo of post count
Lightning Flik replied to Stephen Joseph's topic in Site Feedback
Popick if you get YOUR 2000 posts back, I want my 1500 that were taken away from me. Since neither will happen, BLAH! As for you saving the boards, meh... You're yesterday's news. Banky most recently saved the boards. -
*sighs* I get no luck... I so wanted Tactics Orge in all it's glory...
-
*sighs* Here. Read this then. So I'm mistaken on it being called King of Fighters 2003. Yet it'll be out on the PS2 sometime next year.

This is all stolen from Gamespy or wherever I feel I'll get the best info (unless it's my own running commentary. Instead of seperate commentaries, I wish for everyone to keep stuff that's mention from TGS in here. Also rumors abundant on what the hell SquareEnix's mystery title is: Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts: Chained Memories, Chrono Break (tentative title, it's at least the next Chrono game), Final Fantasy XII or even a side story to Final Fantasy VII on the PSP. Whatever it is, people are flocking to SquareEnix that's all I have to say. And it had BETTER deliver. My own guess, we'll get footage of KH2 and KH:CoM, probably a teaser of CB, and it'll probably be FFXII or FFVII. CORRECTION: As reported on Ansemreport.com So looks like it's either CB, FFXII, or the side story of FFVII that could be the mystery title. Then again, because I'm a dunce and forget that this is also ENIX, there is Dragon Quest VIII (a.k.a. Dragon Warrior) that could also be that title too. This doesn't mean that KH2 isn't that title, but if it isn't it, it more or less could mean that either a) KH2 isn't far enough in development that it can be displayed publicly or b) it's so far into development, SquareEnix just shows us screens and plops a release date on us. But for all the wait, I'm really wondering if it might not be a new title as well. Since you know, why all the secrecy? Anyways, onto the games that matter. Yes, people. No lie. We'll have an upcoming RPG based on Mega Man X. Specifically, X7. It's of course, from the pre-TGS so not much was really SHOWN, but from the pics, and stuff. It's pretty alright. Another one that looked interesting is Crimson Tears. Info provided below. Nice looking cel-shading. Albeit, it was only two pics, it still was nice to see. Probably the first cel-shading game that I went "damn, that looks good". Next on the list of games that is interesting is ... Onimusha 3. And NOT for the good reasons. ...I'll leave that up to you to debate... As I'm going "uh...." to the above. Yes, there was more, but I'm just taking what I felt was the most important for discussion. If you wish to bring up the other games, then by all means do so.

Just read on Gamespot that FFXII will be out in Japan November 19th this year. Meaning the game has been worked on for a hell of a long time. Weirder yet, from the looks of www.ff12.com, and watch the video, it's clearly a technology bound world. Which brings to question: how much old fashioned fantasy will there be in this one? Edit: To those of you who love King Of Fighters, you'll get a new game. SNK says they've got one in production. It'll be King of Fighters 2003

Dear Diary, Somehow I'm popular here, yet I don't know what I did to achieve that. Of course I'm thankful, but I always wonder how that came to be. Later Times, ~Dor

Wow... Simple, but geez, if I had some money and a credit card, I'd probably buy one.

My vote goes for Hamilton Tigercats of the CFL (hey, Canada is NORTH AMERICA). Seriously, the Ti-cats have an absolutely stellar team. If they got their shit together and actually played. They've blown everything single game except one (and that was just, eck of a game) and really have just been atrocious to the point that it's amazing the team can even play. If we are going currently, then unless the Cardinals do something truly idiotic and have played like absolutely SHIT, then yes, they'll get my vote. For now, it's Hamilton.

...he didn't even TRY to be someone else? Wow. *thinks* Wait... I didn't do that either. Nevermind.

TSM Poster Tournament II: Round III
Lightning Flik replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in Poster Tournament
I'm not being a lazy ass today. Oh and just so you know the system: A < B. A over B; A > B. B over A. Got it? Good. If you didn't get the above, whomever the arrow (>) points to, is the person I vote for. Ripper > Banky Incandenza < FrozenBlockOfPissReborn Kotz > Anglesault The New Me < Dr. Tom Corey Lazarus < LaParkaYourCar Downhome < DangerousA Youth N Asia > CobainWasMurdered Jhawk > Zack Malibu -
Dear Diary, Well, my health really bites. October 16th and 20th are when I got in for my MRIs to my neck and right knee. Hopefully, all goes well. Only thing that worries me is that any MRI can take a while to get. As with my knee it took a whole year almost to get it (and I've been waiting 7 to get the MRI) and my neck only took a two months. I think my neck's screwed up. Well, considering I was having problems with my movement yesterday, I'd say so. ~Dor
