Worse is the fact that if there was any league that went up against the NHL right now, they'd win. Simply because the second-tier stars would hop over for the chance to prove themselves in the new league (and there's a shitload of talent that's free agents). If Vince had done the XHL instead of the XFL, we'd probably have no more NHL, as the XHL would get hockey fans because you could probably attend a game for cheap. If I recall going to an XFL game was cheaper than an NFL game. I'm actually half hoping someone goes "I'm starting up a new hockey league, simply because the NHL and NHLPA don't have a fucking clue."

Um... I'd just like to add that while the price is really fucking awful, first million copies get a free Spider-Man 2 movie. So that likely brings the price down to about $225. Plus you get headphones (something you have to buy for the DS, or have your own), so that drops it down by at least $10, so that's $215. You also get an AC Adaptor which is about $10, which again is something you'd have to buy for the DS (yes, I know the PSP needs it, but I'm just pointing out the cost factor). Meaning that the system itself is only $205. So while its really shitty, they just added the costs of everything into the price. Which is still stupid. Honestly, give a free fucking game. At least let the consumer feel like they aren't being ripped off.

Hello Baseball fans! With the baseball season almost upon us, I have decided to start up a TSM Fantasy Baseball League (via Yahoo) for anyone who is willing to join up and play! Come on now, don't be shy. In this head-to-head league, you'll face off against one opponent weekly. 22 weeks of fun people! What more can you ask for? Join now! This league only supports 16 teams, so don't delay! Sign up now! Just some minor notes before I go into what will be scored on and such and such. Firstly, the league begins on March 30th for play. Top six teams (at least I think it is the top 6) will advance to the playoffs to be crowned the TSM know it all of Baseball! All trades and waivers have a one day restiction. Trades will only be vetoed by the Commish (that being me). The trade deadline is August 15th. All players not selected in the draft will be free agents immediately thereafter. I'm taking the Can't Cut List off, because I'll police the league and smack anyone stupid enough to drop their whole team off for the hell of it. Minimum innings pitched per team per week is 7. Roster changes happen daily, so remember to fix them up as you go. Scoring starts of course, on March 30th. The batting roster will consist of a catcher, first, second, third, short stop, three outfielders, two utilities, and four available benches. Pitching roster consists of two starting pitchers, two relief pitchers, and two "all pitchers". The draft will be occuring at 9:45am PST (12:45pm EST) on Feb 26th. It will be a LIVE draft! So please make sure you clear out your schedule and everything else. Date can be changed although time will still probably be crap. I'll be doing a random drawing out of a hat (no, I'm not lying) on who gets what position in the draft. Ok? I'll even web cam it to prove my legitmacy of the drawings (if I can steal the webcam from my sister that is). There will be 12 statistics for batting rosters. They are: Runs, Hits, Singles, Doubles, Triples, Homeruns, Runs Batted In, Stolen Bases, Walks, Strikeouts, Errors, and Batting Average. There will be 11 statistics for pitching rosters. They are: Wins, Loses, Complete Games, Shutouts, Saves, Hits, Earned Runs, Walks, Strikeouts, Earned Run Average, and (Walks+Hits)/Innings Played (WHIP). Now then, most of these statistics will probably change by the coming of the season, but that's what I got. But for right now, a total of 23 statistics up for grabs. Moves too fast? Geezus, I love the intense fast pace. Although, yeah, this hitting is still kinda silly. And you have problems setting up plays? Weird, I can set up plays all the time. Just get in toss around till you make the defense get dizzy and then let the play unleash. ...or you could just do like I do somedays, and put up 70 shots on net. I mean, some of them are bound to find the back of the net sometime. And there has to be someone who suggest something for my penalty kill dilemna I'm having.

Ok, I know this thread is old, but I was recently playing my EA 2005 copy (which I got for like $10 Canadian) for my only gaming machine I have left my PC. So, I'm playing as the New York Rangers... yes, I love my Oilers, but hey, the Rangers have the cash and player value to allow me to build my team the way I want it. Moving along, I just was playing against the Pittsburgh Penguins and I shafted them 20-1. It was surreal as the more goals I began putting on them, the more they just let me kill them. It was kinda funny watching the team basically go "aw fuck this, just score already". It was even better when in the final 2 minutes, I scored like 6 goals and the goalie's like "oh why bother, we lost huge". I felt good to trounce one of the worst teams in the league, after blowing a game against Montreal 3-2, when they scored with 26 seconds left on the clock. So makes me mad. Oh, and can someone tell me of some other way to keep the amount of power play goals I allow down? Unless I use the Bag Practice (increases penalty kill) I get raped on powerplays. I mean, my penalty kill is 79.7% (and it was worse before I started using that Practice >_<).

Well, the new person at the helm of FFXII has gone to great lengths to actually build Ivalice (by like actually going to Europe to study the buildings and culture), so there's a little hope that they might churn out something. And ah, Langrisser. I've heard of its praise, but haven't played it. ...and we RPGers have yet again, sidetracked yet another sole RPG thread. Geezus.

...I'm not seeing the third one. There's just no way. I like the original Star Wars series, but this new series has been the absolute pits. I mean honestly, that preview and the trailer just KILLED the love I have for the Star Wars universe.
