Anyway, after a bit of thought, consideration, blah blah blah.... I will be keeping the three that were talked about, on the previous page. Keepers: Daunte Culpepper, Alge Crumpler, Larry Fitzgerald. Blunder on the consolation thing. Big deal. Teams that end the season ranked 1-8 will proceed to the real playoffs, teams that end the season rankded 9-16 will proceed to the consolation playoffs. Is that better? Still doesn't change the fact that teams currently ranked 1 to 7 have a playoff spot (although which spot is still up for grabs). Oh and Agent. If you are only taking three keepers you need to select three people whom you are giving up for Madness picks. As described below:
-
Although yahoo doesn't actually say it yet, Keeper League teams ranked 1-7 have offical playoff spots (which those are have not been finalized till Week 14). Teams ranked 7-12 will battle for the final playoff spot. So to those people who have playoff spots 1-7, please congradulate yourselves on a juob well done. Teams 7-12 will play a consolation playoff.

Batters: Contact Hitting - 10 Power Hitting - 10 Team: Mexico City Guerreros

Heh. Yah, its pretty impressive but there are other teams that don't have as great records as I who have the same ratio. Flick, Vern and probably some others. Compete for one of the best two records in the league. Who you'd play in the 2nd round likely isn't much of a difference. Myself, fully expect to limb into the playoffs. Totally forgot about the bye. Geez, can't believe that little ol' me has won 8 straight. That's so a record for the kkk league. Has to be. I dub my winning streak the offical record of wins in a row. And Vern you never know. I could win all my games, play in the finals against a 10-6 team (let's say they got the WC, so 12-6) and drop the final game to them. I'd be say, 14-2 (15-3), but I'd still have the better record, just no kkk trophy.

I am finally the best in the league. If I remain best in the league, my mission will be complete for the season, regardless if I win in the post season or not.
-
I just found out that this is so. hence, i must build my power now.

EIGHT WINS IN A FREAKING ROW!!! 10-2!!! I AM AWESOME!
-
actually the game is quite fun. I'm currently level 3 and have finally obtained my second pitch for Dorian. The Slider. Now working to get my Curve Ball.
-
First download the client after registering. Then click you should automatically have to create a player after signing into your account. I managed to get Dorian to level 1! Weehee... Also found that pitching is so fun... Going to build him as a pitcher.
-
Ok, like 9 more people sign up for this My 2nd baseman is Dorian, my pitcher is Dagual. Now people sign up so I can see if playing this game is worth the trouble dammit.
-
I demand we start up our own league or team or however this works. I demand it right now dammit. I expect and demand others to follow suit. The Client is 126MB, btw. Once I get everything set up, I'll let you know my character and stuff.

Heh. Well, I'm glad you took the time to fix up the presentation. I didn't really mind TEWs, it was just the menus were a little clunky at certain points. And I'll be happy when TEW2005 comes out. Oh, will TEW2005 have online capabilities, or is that still off? Cause I'd love to play against some of my buddies online without having to swap files... Yeah, I know, I know. This is about WreSpi, my bad. But seriously, I like this game. Its quite quick and easy to pick up and go with. I toyed around with the Rookie to Legend Mode's different features of size and types of wrestlers and found it interesting that stats were quite different depending on what you choosed for them. It was a nice touch. Wish I had some money as I'd probably buy this game.

Word of advice: RPGs and Blockbuster do not mix. Unless its touted with a huge ass commerical, Blockbuster doesn't have it for rent. That's why I love my Microplay. Always have the games I want for rental and buying.

After I have the completed Keeper's lists, I will detail who has been forfeited for Madness Picks and also give off a possible draft order as well.

Trade deadline for the regular season has come and gone. Any trade offers now relate in terms of Off-Season movement.

Naruto is a pretty good manga to read. I liked it. And I'm happy to see another Rumiko Takahashi fan.
-
Considering I'm also 9-2 and do the same, there is some proof that the PMing picks idea works out well.
-
Mexico City Guerreros I think is the perfect choice.

I've become a supporter Rueben Droughns simply because its amazing how he just pounds the holy hell out of teams. So now I cheer the Broncos and the Falcons. I'd hate if the Broncos and Falcons ever got into the Superbowl, as I wouldn't know who I'd be cheering for then.

Growlanser Generations is quite an epical experience by the account of my friend. Sadly up here in Canada you only get the choice of buying it (or at least in the Edmonton area), so I can't head over to Microplay to test it.

Disgaea, VP, Grandia 2, DW7, SO2, SO3 If it was between those two, its pretty much based on whether you like playing an Pokemonish RPG (Nocturne) or a total outlandish RPG (Covenant). Square-Enix stated that March-April would be more or less when they decide to bring it out. Got that info off of RPGamer.com

A touch off topic but I'd be interested in what you have to say here. If you could elaborate please. I didn't care for Shakespeare because I could not for the life of me understand anything he had written. Sure it was in English, but to me, the way things were worded didn't make sense. It was as if it was an alien scripture of English that I just could not decifier if my life depended on it. I told my teacher exactly this thought. He asked how many felt the same way and most of the class were like I (or more, just not wanting to do the work, same difference really). My teacher then decided that we would in fact read the book, but as part of an in class play. Because I opened up my fat mouth, I had to play the part of MacBeth. Of course, if you were apart of the play you needed to memorize your lines before you walked into class. Our teacher said that there was only one rule we need to follow during each session of acting, was that we needed to play the character, not just spit out our lines. We were left to our own devices on why exactly we moved or acted the way we did. After the session, we had to explain why we felt the need to act out the way we had. At first, it wasn't that easy. The first time, I just read my lines and pretty much sat down, because I wasn't really in it at all. But the more I inventest my time to MacBeth (the story as a whole), the more I began to comprehend exactly how magnificant Shakespeare's works are. Not because of really studying the material (in fact, other than knowing my lines, I didn't study), but more because I was left to my own devices to figure out the meanings behind the words and the actions. I wasn't always right with how I reacted to the words, but my teacher said that was pretty much what Shakespeare wanted with his writings. But as I studied Shakespeare's work, I began finding myself get it with the more I understood the mastery he had. Shakespare took cultural references, slags, and mixed local myths into his pieces to give them a bit more appeal to his general audience. But he did everything in such a fashion that you had to keep yourself fully in rapt of the story, or you would miss the entire point of what was being said. Everything was chosen specifically to keep the reader's attention and never letting it leave. He had to manipulate the language into a tool that could convey to his his readers (or watcher, depending) the feelings in those words, get a meaning out of the context and syntax of what was there and have it imprinted upon that person. Shakespeare could and can make people laugh, cry, feel joy and sorrow, and not miss a bit. You invest yourself into the characters, may even feel the justifications of the villian or anti-hero (MacBeth), or feel the righteousness of the hero's (Hamlet) sacrifice to do what is right. No RPG's story has fully been able to make people totally invest into a story like Shakespeare's works. RPGs might be able to get some of the things, but not the whole parcell and package. Maybe someday RPGs will succeed in all aspects, but not currently. Let's put it this way to save time SO3. Star Trek Episode Base Off Of > SO3 Story. I'd elaborate better on this, but I've used up that time on the Shakespeare explanation and I need to get to school.

Wasn't expecting Adam to show up here to promote his game. Cool. I played the demo of this and I thought it was a pretty neat game. Demo's a little short (a month in game of playing time) but I got a good handle for it. BTW, its a lot better than TEW in terms of menus and overall presentation. Gameplay is totally different though as Wrestling Spirit is about you taking a newbie to wrestling and making them a legend.

Considering the depth of talent that's actually going to be available for those few people who take part in the Madness Draft, I'd say its highly likely that you'll not only succeed in producing a better lineup, but also do better next year as well. Of the 9 people I currently have for Keepers, only 3 have done so.
