Madness Draft is a draft before the actual draft. All draft picks for the Madness draft are placed in a random order. So you can have this: 1st - Crimson Storm (11th in the league, 7th pick in the regular draft) 2nd - Injuried Prone (8th in the league, 9th in the regular draft) 3rd - Gotham Harlequins (3rd in the league, 13th in the regular draft) 4th - Injuried Prone 5th - Serenity (1st in the league, 16th, in the regular draft) 6th - Michaels Mark (last in the league, first in the regular draft) That's more or less how it works. Because the Madness Draft is random, the picks are worth more than a regular draft pick. The downside to the Madness Draft Picks, is you will not know your draft position in the Madness Draft until the day of the draft. Therefore if I give up Reuben Droughns because I want a Madness Draft pick and figure I might get him back, if someone else has a Madness Draft pick, they might steal him. The Madness Draft is more or less akin to the Waivers Draft in the NHL. Except you can also pick off potential free agents as well. Hope that's a good explanation.

You would still have to draft at least a minimum amount of players in a Dynasty league. You can't just get a whole shitload of draft picks. I'm thinking that if we do make this a Dynasty league, that I would then make it 3 being the minimum amount and probably up to at least 7 being the most. Of course, I doubt that people would actually take 7 players as it doesn't give you a lot of flexability. Probably 6 at most, therefore at least everyone gets 1 Madness pick. Does everyone like this idea?

I'm willing should we allow people to select between like 3-7 people and not a set number, is something I did with NBA H2H league, which is a "Madness Draft". For every additional person (from the maximum amount) you do not keep, you get an extra pick placed into the absolutely random ordered Madness Draft! Of course, I'd just like to know if people would be up for this. This allows people the greater flexability, not only that but Madness Draft picks would be worth a little more for the potential you can nab an awesome spot. And yes, Madness Draft picks would be available for trades as well. So don't worry about taking them and thinking you could be stuck with them. Just wondering what you guys think about it for Dynasty.

There are some slight flaws with your "feeling". 1) Someone else is 8-2. 2) That someone else is 2-0 when in the Game of the Week. 3) That someone else is perfect against the AFC at 3-0. 3) That someone else is perfect against his division at 2-0 (this week not withstanding). 4) That someone else is a perfect 5-0 when his games are needed to be decided by a single point. 5) That someone else may have started the season at 2-2 after 4 games, but has gone on to win 6 straight. 6) And the biggest reason your "feeling" is flawed, that someone else beat Vern Gagne. Therefore, this someone else is classified as being the true leader of the 3kFL. Hence, that someone else has something to say about him winning it all.

When the playoffs hit, you can't trade anyways. Last trade date is Dec 3rd. Since the first day of the playoffs isn't for 3 weeks, I think you've got plenty of time of who to think of keeping. BTW, I know for a fact that two people who wish to do Dynasty already know their six they are keeping. With this it makes those in favor of Dynasty up 5 to 1.

Hm... Seems like Dynasty has a 4-1 to votes lead. I'll only impliment Dynasty if it retains more votes by the time the playoffs hits or obtains the 8 votes needed to be approved by half the league (my vote does not count). Last week of the season is also when I want the Keepers (or if Dynasty wins, team) you'll have for next season.
