Um... Sacks are only -1 on the QB.

That would be one of the things to go. However, my changes would make defense a very plausable position to make a second or first rounder next season (this is assuming three/four keepers). Again, I have to work on the details once I return home from school, but I have a concrete idea of what I need to change to make Defense good. In my other league, the commissioner fucked up and fumbles are worth +1 point, so every time someone loses a fumble, it actually improves his point total. I guess it is to make up for last year when fumbles were -2 and fumbles lost would be -2 more, causing people to get quite pissed whenever their guy fumbled the ball. Don't expect the return yards to matter even if I did leave them in. The new scoring scheme for defense will make you PAY for giving up points. Big time. More on that when I get home and actually impliment the system I have in mind. Safeties will be worth more next season. And the highest you can get on defense should you get one. As well fumbles, sacks and interceptions shall be worth different amounts of points both on the offensive and defensive sides. It's more of a balancing system. Oh and about the fumbles and fumbles lost... That is being implimented next year.

Speaking of people complaining about WRs lack of production, here's something I'd like to add for next season. QB completions, RB attempts, and WR catches taken into account. Ratio .25 pts per completion, .10 pts per attempt, and a point per catch. What do you people think? Oh and I'm downgrading the amount of stats for the defense and upgrading the actual defense points you can get. I'll have more on that at a later date.

I know... It's so close. I'm just hoping Smith gets in the offense. My only problem is since after the first three games of the season, Smith has 44 yards and a TD. Not encouraging stats.

In response, I'm bitching about this specifically. They don't review the game properly and have now set the comfort zone at 70% which is bullshit. As for the Driv3r debacle and other games that have ended up getting the same treatment, I am pissed about stupidity like that too. Everyone and their mother is doing this though. Can they stop being nothing more than fucking ads? Worse yet, can people stop giving out good grades, for not really being good? Is it so freaking hard?! This is not about games being overrated. Me and Andrew are arguing over the fact that I believe that no one actually uses their reviewing systems properly and the standard for the average game is now 70%. What pisses me off is that reviews these days seem like a little blurb of nothing. I mean, I get no idea why they rank it so high, nor do I understand how their rankings work because there is no standard precendent set. Perfect example of what I mean is this: GameSpot saying - "We Do Not Inflate Our Scores" GameSpot's Tilt Category - "This score basically lets a reviewer sway the final score--either higher or lower--based on the reviewer's overall experience with a game. Here's an example: A game might have really good graphics and sound but only mediocre gameplay. As a result, it gets a low tilt score to keep the overall from being boosted too high, since the game ultimately isn't fun. Likewise, a game might have mediocre graphics and sound, but it might include a really good story and a lot of original ideas. As a result, it might get a high tilt to boost the overall score a bit, which suggests to you that you should look beyond the game's production values" Um... Excuse me... BUT THAT'S INFLATING THE FUCKING REVIEW! Maybe if you took the time to explain to the readers that a game can score high in a category but still suck, perhaps we might get somewhere. Now you may say, well they need to do that to represent the game's worth. GameSpot's Value category does fucking that. Is it any good? If so, I will read. And I better not be paying because I'm currently poor and cannot afford it.

It's 4:24 am here and I think I pulled something in my neck and so I can't sleep. Anyways, so Yahoo finally posts the scores and the bastards counted a fumble against McCareins that he didn't lose, so now I get smacked with a -2 on him and the score ends up as such. Crimson Storm (me) - 81.34 Presented By BankOne - 81.41 I would be depressed about this loss if it wasn't the fact that L.J. Smith of the Eagles gets a start against Dallas. The bad news is he's a Tight End and so odds are it'll be a single pass his way or two. The good news? 1 yard is all I need to claim victory as it'll give me 0.10 in points and make me beat Presented By BankOne. So tonight I'll definitely be watching the football game in hopes that Smith gets that 1 pass for 1 yard.

It's been a long time since this thead was around, but I just felt the need of bragging. I won this week against Presented by Bank One. I won 79.82 to 77.32 (by my scores, but we'll see what happens later on tonight when Yahoo finalizes it). This was a week when I had not Droughns and Lelie. Even if I somehow lose (as my scoring stuff might be wrong), I lose by a little. FEAR ME!!! I SHALL OWN YOU COME THE PLAYOFFS!!!
