That Gridiron Minor League would be the CFL. And I know quite a few teams that would probably sign him up. Even if he isn't as good as a 6 year vet, he still would be signed to a hell of a lot less money and could turn out quite good.

And if he does really well in Canada, he'll score even more points with the NFL and possibly either keep his Top 5 position, or be the #1 overall draft pick.

I'm guessing that it's just IGN was being quick about it and therefore it wasn't polished. After all, this is still a demo and they are trying to get a preview out for everyone quickly.

He might fall under the "One great season" category, which had Theodore and Giggure. Flik, he did play 38 games, but he would have played around 50 if he wasn't injured. I'm not saying the 38 games is a problem since he played probably the best in goal that I've seen in a long time. Hell I'm not even saying it's the stats he put up. The problem I have is he was a backup till this past season. If he can do this again (having another great season), then I could see the justification of him getting 3 million. The problem is, this is totally unjustifiable of an increase in pay when you aren't guarenteed he'll be a one hit wonder. If it was two season of starting, then sure. I'd agree 3 million. Right now? Uh... I would've paid at most 2 million. I had a problem with Holik getting paid the obscene amount of money to play in New York. I have the exact same problem with this because it falls under the same category. He hasn't proven to be a starter until last year, and that might be because he just found his niche for a small sliver in time. And I agree with Cue Meanie. Never compare Theo with the rest of the one hit wonder goalies. His off year was just as much the fault of the defense in front of him as it was an off year for his tending skills (weren't the Canadiens like dead last in penalty killing as well that year?).

A raise increase of that much is lunancy. Seriously, I don't care if he is that good all the time. He went from a backup goaltender to playing 38 games in a season. How can you grant someone 3 million dollars for only 38 games? If it was the full season, then yes I could agree. Yes, he had a fabulous run in the playoffs, but it's still only while he was hot. Who's to say he'll preform as well next year? Worse, is what happens if we get the strike? Who's to say he'll even be near form when they get back? After this, I say that Cloots definitely deserves 3 million if a backup turned replacing starter gets 3 million. Hell, all starters should earn bare minimum of 3 million after this.

NBA Fantasy League will continue like it did last year, as Al says. Currently I have 11 people confirmed (that's including myself) returning from last year out of the 16. I'm not making the draft guys. Sorry. I'll have to attempt to make a listing or something (I had company over last night so I couldn't make it. Hopefully I draft ok with it. Edit: I'm going to be an hour late for the draft (it's 4:30, I ain't home till an hour later).

For me, I don't get home till 5pm PST, but even then, that's just the bus stop, which means it still would take me 15 minutes to get from the bus stop to home. So then the draft wouldn't be able to be started till like 5:30 PST, and I don't think we want to change it by 2 and a half hours. And I saw the scoring chart. Quite different than the usual.

Well if it is 3pm Pacific, I won't be participating in the draft and I won't be able to arrange my draft chart in any fashion that will at least look decent. *sighs* Well, oh well. Guess we'll see what my team will draft.

The problem with Adam's release of his product, is he did what silly programmers sometimes do. They don't go thinking a program doesn't work (which is how you are supposed to do it) now let's make it work, but instead had the frame of mind that it did work so why isn't it. By the way, assuming your program doesn't work is a sure sign of making sure you get all the bugs out of it. After programming the EW, EWR series, I think I could understand if he did that. Then again, I am taking programming, so maybe I'm just covering for him unintentionally.

I explained this at the beginning of the season, so let me explain it again. The reason why IP is the way it is, is because it is HEAD 2 HEAD. That's the only way I can make it work. Otherwise everyone's rosters would be relief pitchers only. And I'm fixing it next year big time. So no frets. I've got the bugs worked out for the most part, me thinks. Sorry for the delay in a reply, I screwed up my account and locked myself out of being able to do anything for three days.
