You are wrong that he'll get 5 points off of return yards. 947 yards divide by 20 yards to a point = 47.35 points. Now divide that by 17 weeks = 2.79 point average per week via return yardage. Let's compare that with say a WR that's got roughly the same stats via yardage. Chris Chambers with 967 yards divide by 10 yards to a point = 96.7 points. Now divide that by 17 weeks = 5.69 points. An RB with the roughly same stats via yardage. R. Johnson with 957 yards divided by 10 yards per point = 95.7 points. Divided by 17 Weeks = 5.63 points. I'll take Bledsoe as he currently has the lowest ranking points among QBs while being above 2000 Passing yards. 2860 yards divided by 25 yards per point = 114.4 points. Divided by 17 Weeks = 6.72 points. In the cases above, Smart falls double behind in points getting compared to the rest. In the case of Bledsoe, he's almost triple. Now then, the average return yardage by the top 50 returners is 757.54 yards. That's an average of 37.89 points a season and total of 2.23 a week. Compare to the top 50 Receiving Yards. Average = 916.58 yards. Average/Season = 91.67 points. Average/17Weeks = 5.39 points per week. Compare to the top 50 Running Yards. Average = 840.06 yards. Average/Season = 84.00 points. Average/17Weeks = 4.94 points per week. Compare to the top 30 Passing Yards (only way to fairly compare because only 30 QBs can legitmately start). Average = 2839.43 yards. Average/Season = 113.58 points. Average/17Weeks = 6.68 points per week. Now then, going by this, we see that returners are only making a third of what the other categories make, just by straight up yardage points. Which is where your concern lies. They simply don't make that much unless they are Dante Hall. And I checked to see who gets 5 points and only Dante breaks the 5 point mark. Only 3 players break 4 points. Hell, only 12 players make over 3 points. Sorry Raza. Request for point system change is denied on your basis of returners getting a decent share of points. They simply don't in comparison to the rest of the categories that matter.

I'm so sorry people, but while talking with HarleyQuinn about the upcoming draft and the stats and shit, I realized I made a huge error. This is for QBs, RBs, and WRs: Sacks are only supposed to be -1 and not a -2 like it currently is. Fumbles are supposed to be a -2 and not a -1. I got the two mixed up! I'm so sorry! I didn't even realize it till HarleyQuinn pointed out how that was a little odd that sacks were more costly than fumbles. Again, I'm terribly sorry for any anguish I cause for your drafting results.

I don't. I did it with Brett Favre making a point for every 30 yards he collected passing: gets 219 points (I'm including all other stats in here as well). Where as Favre currently gets 243. Holt getting a point for every 30 yards he collected: 114 pts (I'm including all stats in here as well). Where as Holt currently gets 241. These two are currently are even pace, however, if we go with Raza's system, the QBs DOMINATE. With the current system in place: After the first 10 running backs, they are on par with everyone else. After the first 5 QBs they are on par with everyone else. After the first 5 WRs they are on par with everyone else. So we'll be keeping the system as is.

Missed Field Goals was set at 0 because I'm trying to make it so there aren't so many negative points. I want everyone to be able to go to NFL.com and simply caculate it up. Returned yards will be staying the way it is. Passing yards that a receiver catches will remain the way it is because I move it to 30 yards, and you make most WRs 7-9 rounders at best. And if I devalue it for running yards to 30 yards, it basically makes QBs the predominant fantasy valued by a wide margin and I frankly didn't want that. The way I currently have the stats is how it shall remain as it makes every position fit well. That and frankly, I'd be modifying the stats way too much lately.
-
If we had it by attempts, then RBs would've been more (as QBs weren't getting it). Forgot to change somethings, so sorry about that.

Congradulations are in order for the Frasiers who won a tough series. Even if it did end in 4 straight, it wasn't a clear cut win. Oh look, I won the Glass Ceiling Award. HOORAH! ...I'm probably going to be one of those guys who is like one of the greats to never win a Championship.

I missed the draft as well... And had it auto pick for me. STUPID THING~! My excuse though was I forgot about it and when I realized it was the day, I was like, "OH SHIT! I forgot to change my draft picks. Oh well, can't be that bad." ... oh, it wasn't bad at all. Just the most stupidiest drafting session ever. At least Tom got 3 defenses (all of which were good) so he could at least trade away for something. I had to trade away my star players at the time to get anything in return. Thankfully, I managed to get Holcomb and I was saved from being the league's bitch.

I hope to God that my player retires soon with at least a Ring soon. I'm tired of always being on the outside looking at everyone else win. It's not fair.

Last year was the year of idiocy for picks. I swear the draft was the absolutely the worst draft to ever be done. I think the next day when all players were off of waivers, everyone practically dropped a third of their team.
-
...aw, isn't that nice of you. Telling the guy that knows absolutely next to nothing about any sport other than hockey that he's savvy because he remembers his mistakes from last year and isn't making them this year. Honestly, I'm the guy who knows nothing, so don't worry. I'll do something really fucked up in this draft. Just you wait. Like, I'll bullshit everyone into thinking I'm drafting an RB with my first pick and pick up Peyton. ... I swear I'm not actually doing that one. I need my first pick to be an RB. I found out how brutal it was without one last year. Depending on who gets picked in the first 4, he might be mine. Depending on who's available of course. At least you won't pick a starting roster that is a secondary team at best. ...then again, I went 7-9 with said team, so maybe I should say it was that bad.
-
It's a serpentine draft. That's why he won it. He has the last pick in the odd rounds, but even rounds he has the first pick. I'd rather be at #1-4 and #13-16 as you've got a higher chance of getting good quality picks in a serpentine draft. In these types of drafts, the people closer to the middle are the real losers as they've got to wait half way for making picks and thus have to plan even better than other drafters.
-
Lewis will be an iffy pick (now that I'm actually up to date on him), and yes, I probably wouldn't use a first round pick on him myself. I don't know what position you are in the draft, but you better hope he drops a lot then. And you better pray he still is in the league when it starts this season. Sadly, I'm not going to be the guy to chance it. Last few times I've picked up on the iffy guy, I've gotten screwed. So it'll drop past me. Well, that someone isn't going to be me, I've said it before, I'll say it again: My first draft pick is a RB. Too bad for you. Gotta pray that 1 of the other 9 pick a QB or WR. Oh, and as per HarleyQuinns request, there is now a 4th bench so everyone can have a spare defense. So the draft is now 13 rounds.

Just taking this oppotunity to announce that we've now got 16 teams. Draft Date Is July 18th, 5pm EDT.

TSM Head-to-head FantasyBaseball League~!

...but it doesn't help me when my pitching staff can't do anything worth a freaking damn! I mean, my whole starting staff (minus Marquis) posted an era of 7+! WTF?! I'd expect better than that from Loazaia, Halladay, and Rogers. -

Oh, I know. Just why did they have to crap out when I was facing you!? That's what pisses me off the most. -

Of course, I would bitch about Milton, but instead, I'll just bitch about my whole pitching staff. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE BASTARDS?! Only Looper, Worrell, and Marquis got under 3.00 ERA, and the rest of these stupid idiots post ERAs above 7.00. And I thought I had a stellar pitching staff when I started this year... -
I'd just like to re-iterate, we need a 16th team here. Otherwise, Yahoo will be a stupid little bitch and not let us draft.
-
Ok, so apparently Yahoo's still being a dumb ass about teams, so I really need one more person to show up for the Yahoo H2H League.
-
4th picked for RBs, or fourth overall?
-
On your side for what? Not sure what you mean here, Vyce. All I know is I can't wait for Tales of Symphonia to come out. ...hey, it is coming out to the PS2 later on this year, so I can talk about it (even if it is coming out on the Gamecube next week!).

I'm sitting at #5 so anyone makes ONE fucking mistake on a pick, I'll make you pay. Then again, I always take Gotham's picks, so naturally I'll select something Gotham wants. *smirks*

Currently, it appears kickers are getting zip for a PAT, and defenses are getting some positive integer for TDs. If you're going to set these to 1 and 6, that's great. By "negative point threshold," I mean the number of points allowed that start to earn a defensive team negative fantasy points. Since the league average for points scored is usually around 23, setting that number to 24 makes sense. An average defense gets you no reward or penalty, but once you're below average, the fantasy points should start coming off. Alright, I'm checking the current League Settings and: PAT Made = 1 point PAT Missed = -1 point (since they should make the damned PAT) It's right there. For defense: Touchdown = 6 points So it is set and ready Tom. I don't know where you are seeing it as 0 points. As for the points system for defense allowing points, would it be better as: Points Allowed 0 points (10) Points Allowed 1-6 points (7) Points Allowed 7-13 points (4) Points Allowed 14-20 points (1) Points Allowed 21-27 points (-0) Points Allowed 28-34 points (-4) Points Allowed 35+ points (-7) That ok?

I said I see QBs going just 3rd round, as most of the first two would be RBs (and they had better be). Or at least that was what I meant. And I really do believe that Lewis and Peyton can end up being 1-2 (although, I don't see that happening with who's currently where in the draft). I see possibly a QB being the #1 or #2 draft pick, however, I think the first 4 of 5 of the draft picks will be RBs. At least that's what I predict. I know I'll be draft an RB for my first pick. Kickers should be getting a point for PATs. If they aren't, I need to fix that. I thought I had defensive touchdowns as 6 points (I'll have to fix that if not). As for negative point threashold, please explain what you mean. Might help me out better. With the #2 draft pick, you better make it good. All, I got to say. And I really do hope we don't have some stupid moments in this draft. For once, I'd like a draft that drafts well. I'm glad people are picking RBs as the main stuff of choice. I'd be afraid otherwise. And how about we NOT make decisions on keepers till we get through this season, ok? You don't really know what'll happen till the season begins. Oh, and btw, if I get whom I want in the first two rounds, I'll be a happy person .

Pittsburgh probably found it in their back pocket.... Seriously, how the hell did they find it in them to sign Recchi? Does this mean then that Andre-Fleury will actually be starting for the Penguins next season? Only way I'd explain them picking up Recchi is if they have money to burn.
