millar's run on Thor came out of ideas that gaiman had..gaiman gave his "blessing" to take his idea and run with it..gaiman actually let marvel take it to a confrence of the writers and editors to work ideas in a thinktank like enviornment millar fell in love with it

im sure it will be great (morrison on Supes in particular)..im just not jazzed about another reality's setting..i could never get on boaud with any ultimate series for the same reason

they really do need the editors to get their act together its amazing how they are doing all these little tie in things to hint at stuff coming up all over the place and have really logical IC crossovers but they can still screw up all this other stuff loeb (or someone) should have thought who Hush was way back then keep quiet about cause lord knows you cant let the secret get out (Monarch from Armageddon 2001) or DC will have a heart attack when they drag out this crap it always is a letdown instead of good surprise or a logical reveal to someone piecing the clues together who remembers who was the future killer that Bishop saw way back in those Portacio uncanny x-men's? i sure dont and im pretty sure i read the story that finally cleared that all up..it was so stupid by that time that i didnt commit it to memory comics (and wrestling) are too often writing the story without the ending already set and they always fall flat..write the ending 1st or at least know where the heck youre going with the story!! and have someone in charge of keeping track of all the stories and clearing useage of characters or plots continuity wise

Crisis on Infinite Earths has been and will probably remain my favorite/best comic book story ever others: Byrnes FF, Superman and West Coast avengers runs, the Giffen/Demattis Justice League run, morrison Doom Patrol and Milligan Shade right before Vertigo got its name, New XMen E is for Extinction, the original Books of Magic mini-series, Arkham Asylum, The Golden Age, Watchmen, a bunch of others im forgetting i cant think of a good worst..i mean ive read a lot of crap but cant pinpoint what i would want to label as worst..ill just highlight some recent stuff that was very, very disapointing: azarrello and Lee's Superman run Avengers Dissasembled Dark Knight sequel

in addition to buying the baseballs maybe he shouldnt have run spawn into the ground? i still remember when he swore it was a finite series and would end after he lost his power and would tell one story and not go on and on like a regular franchise and after its run , with the idea being it would be a 4-5 year run, he would start another series(this was all said in interviews when image was starting)
