Here's a clear and complete version of the Midnight Express's NWA theme. Not quite CD quality but the best I've ever heard . . . http://rapidshare.de/files/17057537/Midnig...heme__.mp3.html Got it from the Sledgehammer website.

Which wrestlers have held multiple titles simultaneously in the WWE?
MillenniumMan831 replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I loved when one day after winning the WWF Championship, Angle starts listing off his accomplishments, noting . . . "I was the first ever Eurocontinental Champion . . well, actually D-Lo Brown was the first ever champ, but he doesn't count!" -

There was Steve Keirn's WCW run in 1994 as one half of Bad Attitude w/ Bobby Eaton. -
Perhaps (never played it on PS2), but the loading was atrocious.

Why not? At the time, it may not have been so easy to find someone willing to bark like a dog on national TV. Have you ever seen the segment? -

It's definitely her. Her woof sounds like Linda. She's just 20 years younger. -

Huh? Explain please. During the initial Million Dollar Man push, DiBiase made a fan bark like a dog on the interview platform that aired on SS/Challenge. That fan was Linda McMahon. -

So, how long will Hart's speech be? I'm guessing it will be surprisingly brief at three minutes. -
I --- Gene Okerlund singing the American National Anthem 2 --- Ray Charles V --- Rockin Robin I don't believe anyone sung it for IX. They were too busy escorting commentators to the ring on farm animals or whatever.

Hmmm . . . could they be relegating him to Heat after WM? The lead announcer? Oh no, he'll have to take the kiddy chair he sits in calling Raws and learn from one of the best . . . Todd Grisham.

I hope as a nod to his 1987 antics, DiBiase notices Linda in the front row, and mutters "Hmmm, she looks familiar." -
Completely agree there. If the Eddie loved would have waned a little bit after RR, I'd still be stoked for a Rey title reign. As it is, I'd rather have Angle retain. As for Edge, it's horrible what they did to him . . . but, as long as the spear is one of his primary finishers, I couldn't care less about the guy. Yes, his finisher is enough to ruin my appreciation for him.

I wonder how many people on Cena's friends list have ever heard of Baron Von Raschke.

No one will remember it in 2 months.

This was just a basic tag match.

Bring back The Young Stallions, dammit!!! Crank it up!

Boogeyman/Booker is the only match I'm actively looking forward to.

Most forgettable stint in a promotion
MillenniumMan831 replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
No, it did indeed happen. It's on CV's Bashed in the USA w/ overdubbed commentary by Ross, Savage, and Heenan. Definitely a fun tv match. While Skinner was the face in the match, he did heel it up enough to stay true to his character. -
Maybe they can bring back Pete Gas and the Mean Street Posse for the even more brutally obvious jokes. In fact, I predict they make a freak run in during the HBK/McMahon match at WM.

And the MATCH . . . IS NEXT!!!

I picked up NHL 2002 used a week ago and have no complaints other than how fast the players zip across the ice but the controls and animations are plenty good. Fire Pro Wrestling 2 is absolutely tremendous. In case you're interested, I have an extra cartridge of Double Dragon III for the original Gameboy (but playable on the GBA).

Most forgettable stint in a promotion

Nah, this was after. It was in the TNN era but I can't remember exactly when. I'm thinking summer of 2000 since IIRC, the Blue Guy attacked Kronus in the men's room one week. -

Didn't Kronus also have a forgettable ECW run in late 1999-2000? Sorry if it was already brought up.
