    Hall of Fame: Class 2006

Jesse Ventura would be a good choice to induct Curt Hennig.

Comments which don't warrant a thread

Yeah, the quality is very good. When I ordered ECW: ONS off of wwe.com, it ran at 500ish kbps as compared to all the other video content of the website that only runs at 300ish kbps . . . so it's almost twice as good as the video quality of a Heat/Velocity episode.

Triple H promo on Rey Mysterio

Orton should have a gimmick of dedicating everything to himself. He can film heartfelt "Desire" music videos in which how hard he has worked for himself and how he wears the "RO" on his arm in a salute to himself and for what he has meant to Randy Orton.

Hands down, what is the worst gimmick ever?

    Granted, this didn't actually happen.

Dogs don't comprehend dates. Seriously? I don't have to waste my time transcribing this. If it bothers you that much... Pardon the ass hole tone. I am now going to bed. When you wake up, please note that I appreciate the Observer notes.

After the match, I love how Heenan "leaves" the broadcast booth but Monsoon assures us that his security team will make sure The Brain pays up.

    The Old School questions thread

And Tajiri.... That essentially dissolved into the network, though, right? That's true although Tajiri turned on Taz to join Corino's pre-Network stable. It was the same night Taz had the 30sec bleep on him. But yeah, they ended up w/ Cyrus in early 2000.

    The Old School questions thread

He was around before The Network in a faction w/ Corino and a wheelchair bound Jack Victory.

    The Old School questions thread

When Rhino first entered ECW, was he a face? I saw him working as a face in a tag match at a ECW house show in early 1999. However, the 1st time I saw him on TV, he was a heel w/ Corino/Victory. Did he set that up w/ a heel turn or was he just working as a face to fill a spot?

    The end of WWE divas?

Gotta add Miss Brenda Britton and Dark Journey to that list. Women in wrestling have always been designed to be beautiful. Even the more prominent actual wrestlers like Madusa, Wendi Richter, Magnificent Mimi, Misty Blue Simmes, and Desiree Peterson to name a few...were there for the eye candy predominantly. Vince knows this...that's why the divas are more over the top as far as sexuality is concerned. Desiree Peterson? Yech. Then again, I've only seen her in one MSG match in 1987 or 88, but she was BUTT ugly. And if I say someone is ugly . . . well I can't think of a witty way to end that but whatever. I see your point though. EDIT --- And this is from someone who thought Leilani Kai in her Glamour Girl gimmick was kinda hot. The picture below is much more flattering than how I remember her in her match w/ Sensational Sherri.

Divas make WWE money. Nuff said.

    NFL Conference Championships

We got every right to be bitter as Browns fans. Ideally, I'd like to see the Steelers win the AFC Title in a classic against Denver only to get anal raped in the Super Bowl 62-0. But that's just me.

Triple Threat Matches that never were

In 1988, DiBiase could have unveiled a master plan to book Savage in a championship match against himself and Andre the Giant. Could have set up an Andre turn but that would be unlikely since he had just turned heel a little over a year prior. Only Lex Luger could get away w/ that many turns in that era.
