I forgot about that one . . . that may be the best exchange on the tape. Another dandy . . . Savage: I'm walkin in the Intercontinental Champion, and I'm walkin out the IC Champion. Monsoon: The title's not on the line. Savage: I know it but it's a psychological thing, don't you agree? Adonis: (Not really paying attention) I agree too.

(Phone rings) Elizabeth: Hello . . . you want Randy to come to Japan and wrestle two of the finest Japanese wrestlers for $500,000. Randy: HANG UP THE PHONE!!! (Liz hangs up) Randy: They can come to my backyard and I'll beat them up for FREE! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Randy: Macho Madness is more seductive than sex! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Newlywed woman is caught swimming in Randy's pool totally enamored w/ him) Randy: This is a typical like situation Gene. Hey lady, I know how you're feelin but you're gonna hafta get out! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not to mention there's also a great Savage/Santana MSG series of matches on the tape which were tragically clipped. For as much as Boston were behind Savage, NYC were practically begging Santana to decapitate Savage at center ring.

Do heels necessarily have to cheat?

The Giant hulking up on Hogan at Hog Wild 1996 is still surreal to me to this day . . . even though Hogan was heel by then. -
What is your favorite catchphrase that didn't..

http://www.highspots.com/www/stores_app/im...wu_kimberly.jpg I wouldn't say it's not safe for work but I wouldn't necessarily want my boss to catch me gawking at this from 8-5.

Can't blame the guy for being a little distracted.

Plus, they could've EASILY blown off the Goldberg/Jericho feud w/ a 5min World Title squash of Jericho on that card since Goldberg didn't even have a match and CJ was stuck in a meaningless match against Bobby Duncum Jr. -
Of all the promos, the only time I laughed was Flair kissing HHH's ass on the Bravehhheart spoof. It was just like real life . . . Raw that is, not Braveheart . . . "You've never looked finer champ. Woooooo!!!"

There's an intense Steamboat/Savage IC Title Match (pre-WMIII feud) from Toronto on Best of WWF Volume 9 that features a juicy Randy Savage bladejob. Awesome match that w/ a clean finish could be argued to be better than the WMIII match.

"You can't say that on Television!"
MillenniumMan831 replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
Not really scandulous but in matches against Steamboat and Santana respectively, Bob Orton was clearly heard bellowing after near falls late in the match: "GODDAMN, THAT CLOSE!!!" complete w/ the hand gesture. Good stuff. -
Edge is getting a push?

The 4 or 5 Hart Foundation vs. British Bulldogs matches released by Coliseum have all been gems . . . even though they weren't "exclusive". While Yoko worked hard in the steel cage match vs. Bret, I could just never get into the match since there was no conceivable reason that at any point, Bret couldn't get Yoko stunned and just casually walk out the door as Yoko would widdle and waddle around.

Actually, I think he did say Raw superstars but that could have been an f up.

Right back at ya.

I didn't get cable until the mid 1990s. Until then, it was Worldwide respresenting the NWA while SuperStars, Challenge, and Spotlight all aired in syndication for the WWF. Herego, it was much easier to keep up w/ the WWF.

Mr. Perfect: That's my story and I'm . . . ssssticking to it! (My mind is jello and I can't think of anything better right now)

I'll throw IYH: Final Four in the mix. Not that I hear about how bad it is, but other than the ME, it's hardly ever brought up despite having an excellent opener between Marc Mero and Leif Cassidy and an awesome Tag Title Match between Owen/Bulldog and Furnas/LaFon. The 6-Man tag was alright. Even the Free for All was extremely entertaining w/ all 4 guys spewing out bitter rage for much of it . . . especially Austin. Plus, the atmosphere was great. No cheesy house set. A real sense of unpredictability all night in regards to the main event as it could have went to any one of them. My favorite IYH ppv and that includes Canadian Stampede. Granted, the I-C Title match between Rocky/HHH was a yawner. I may be kinda biased since I found it dirt cheap years ago at a Mom and Pop's Video Store and didn't expect it to be too good.

Cena or JBL?
MillenniumMan831 replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in The WWE Folder
Personally, I want to see JBL reign as WWE Champion for 5+ years just to see the reactions of the fans every month when he wins whatever ridiculous gimmick match they throw at him. Obviously, business would tank but I don't mind him as champion and there's really no one on SD (other than Eddy) that I actively want to see w/ the WWE Title so JBL is as good as anyone I suppose. If I never saw John Cena again, I'd barely care . . . but him winning at WM21 and his subsequent reign is definitely an opportunity to see if this guy does indeed = dolla dolla bills . . . I think he can draw quite well in the short term but the rapping/throwback gimmick is too trendy and faddy (if that's a word) to draw in the long term. -

(Steiner sets up the noggin knocker) Heenan: That won't work. (Shrinkers no sell) Savage: I agree. (Shrinkers floor Steiner) Awesomeness! Was that triple headbutt during the casket match? Cause I would have sworn one of the Headshrinkers was gone by the time Bam Bam made it in.
