They said the contract stated that if Page didn't win the TV Title, his career would be over. Since Booty Man wasn't the TV Champion there was no way Page could win the belt so he was reinstated.

It's been almost 6 years now, and it's still saddening and even a little sickening as well.

If anyone has ever seen Best of WWF Volume 19 or Inside the WWF, they did show the tape library . . . of course this is from 1989 and 1994 respectively so it probably looks very different then it did 16 or even 11 years ago. Basically, it looked like a mini-warehouse with shelves almost up to the ceiling. Each tape was individually protected w/ oversized black, plastic cases. Nothing too interesting except for the fact that the the shelves actually shift around w/ the flick of a switch.

Max: That's ashame you had four flat tires. Badd: FOUR FLAT TIRES?!? I said A FLAT TIRE!!! (punches out DDP) Okerlund: Ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!

A couple weeks ago, I spent 10-15 seconds just trying to tell my buddy who is a casual fan (wrestling, not sex . . . well, actually both, but I digress) about Paul London and his SSP . . . his response . . . "Dude, no offense, but I don't care." That buzzkilled my day. Make that ex-buddy. -
Monsoon: Rowdy Roddy Piper is in bad shape after that terrible motorcycle crash. Heenan: Well, he shouldn't have been riding those 3-wheelers around Toys R Us.

I may have already posted this but whatever . . . WMVIII Heenan: Myself, Jimmy Hart, the Nasty Boys, and Sensational Sherri are all gonna be on Family Feud squaring off against the stars of the WBF. That's Family Feud all next week . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm gonna win all the money. Monsoon: Oh BOY!

I'm almost positive they have them in the vault . . . but WWE releasing them is another story.
-
I'm sure they keep everything . . . they even had clips of Benoit's WWF tryout matches in 1995.

Showdown wouldn't be bad at all if not for the glitches that ruin it. I still keep LOW2 since it's basically the same game w/ a smaller roster, more generic arenas, but far less glitches. Plus, LOW2 has some decent little shoot interviews in the game.

I have a decent selection of MSG shows from 1984-1992 in the link in my sig if you're interested. http://www.geocities.com/millenniumman831/Tape_List.html

Don't forget about "Crank it Up", the Young Stallions theme song is on the tape. But unfotunately, no Young Stallions music video was ever released. Drat!

I've spent way too many hours doing 8-Man Survivor Series matches on LOW2.

Do you mean the Super Assassins, who were squashed by Luger and Sting ? If you do, they were Warlord and Barbarian under hoods. Any reason why they were under hoods? Not sure if Barbarian already debuted or not at the time of the Destroyers' pairing. One would think that the "Powers of Pain" still had some name value even if they were just there to be jobbed out.

The I-13 set was actually a great deal . . . $80 through mail order IIRC. Then, they released "The Legacy" (I-XIV) for $150 the following year.

Benoit lost to David Flair? When was this? I know Dean Malenko lost to Junior Flair at Bash at the Beach 1999 and I thought Benoit ended up beating Flair for the U.S. Title. Then again, I wasn't a dedicated viewer of WCW in 1999 anyway.

I wished he would shave that awful facial hair of his. He looked like he had a 35 year old face on a 13 year old body. Don't know what he's looking like now and I really don't care. That's the thing about X-Pac . . . people just stopped caring once the D-X wave passed by.

Edge and Orton In the Midcard !
MillenniumMan831 replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Most of the matches at WM18 were slopped together at the last minute (Edge/Booker, Kane/Angle, RVD/Regal, Tag Titles, ect). -
Hey, Taped the Super Bowl tonight in hopes of seeing the Eagles win. That didn't happen so I may as well try to sell the tape off. I started taping at about 4:15 EST prior to the segment on the DBs and let the tape roll for nearly 8 hours . . . which includes the entire game/post game plus Simpsons/American Dad/local news. I'm looking to get $8 shipped for it but will take best offer. Thanks.

Thanks for the upload.

Dr. D looks less than pleased to be in that picture . . . then again, I've never seen him pleased.

Haas is correct. This was all also shown on the Power Hour/Pro and Worldwide. It was technically a house show taped for television if that makes any sense . . . similiar to seeing a MSG title change on Primetime Wrestling. You wouldn't say that the title change took place on Primetime, rather it was aired on Primetime.

Say what you may, but there's something about her that's just plain hot.

^^^ I must have missed something here . . . most likely Raw last fall. What was this all about?
