Here are some more from Cawthon: http://www.angelfire.com/wrestling/cawthon777/video.htm - VHS http://www.angelfire.com/wrestling/cawthon777/dvd.htm - DVD

^ Most likely all of those were done by Jim Johnston who I believe is still employed w/ WWE as he has been since 1985 IIRC.
-
Quite possibly, it's my favorite WCW theme. If not that, it's Jericho's heel theme.
-
I've got a CV master of it so I could make ya a 1st Gen if you want.
-
Sounded like the equivalent of a typical WCW World War 3 ppv. Nothing gained but a unique 30min gimmick match.
-
Not to be a prick, but "The Zoo" was originally done by The Scorpions. The rule of thumb is that if it's not ripped off a song or a cheesy wrestler-specific song itself, it's probably stock. As for the ripoff themes, I actually felt they had a certain charm to them. And to add on: Mamalukes - Godfather Movie Theme MIA - War, What is it Good For? Mike Awesome - Alt version of Beautiful People Saturn's late 1998-early 1999 theme - You Got Another Thing Coming TAFKATAFKAPI - Purple Rain As for the Ricky Martin ripoff, that was Kid Romeo.

I think it's safe to say this is the worst Chyna has ever looked . . . and yes I do count her appearances in early 1997.
-
Chyna's slurring is annoying as fuck.
-
Agreed. As good as Maven was on the mic, I was hoping for a decent match between the two. So was it like 2 10 sec matches or something?
-
That never would have happened because I don't see the word 'McMahon' in there once.
-
And it was that fucker who just had to beat The Browns in the 2002 Playoffs. Thanks Vince.
-
At least Vince got to cash in big time on the InVasion ppv but the XFL . . . well . . . it marked the return of Craig DeGeorge on the McMahon pay roll.
-
Yeah, one rule I follow is that if it's cheap, it's mine regardless of the quality of the show. I've pretty much raided every mom and pop's video store w/in a 25 mile radius and now it's all down to Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. As for that last video store spman, I would try asking whoever is working there if you can purchase their wrestling tapes if no one ever rents them. I usually get rejected trying it, but once in a while, they'll cut me a deal.

DDP actually dropped the belt to Arquette sadly enough. But according to Russo's shoot, DDP was all for it.

Well, Roberts didn't go for the pin on him, but Undertaker sat up from not one, but TWO DDTs at WrestleMania VIII But Undertaker's not human (/Heenan mode). -

Warrior kicked out of it in 1991. I don't recall anyone getting up from Jake Roberts' DDT. -
But wh. . .oh, nevermind.

FWIW, Savage had a WWF Title match w/ Hogan in late 1985/early 1986 in MSG. Savage started posing before either made contact. Then, Hogan posed to many cheers. So Savage snapped his fingers to have Liz jump up on the apron and give him a peck on the cheek to 1up Hogan. Pretty funny.

You didn't book Road Dogg to call Cleveland "Detroit Rock City" did you?
