Kurt Angle was beaten by a TE kid.

Best point Ive read on this thread! I see where you're coming from but in Puder's defense, they were training all day prior to the taping. They show up to the arena and Kurt Angle (in character or not) is a complete dick to everyone. Puder ends up being the only guy to really properly do a squat thrust while he finds himself losing to the one hoss who gets beat by Angle. Angle then calls out anybody to face him . . . . . . Now if you were Puder w/ all your UFC submission knowledge (in the heat of the moment), would you worry more about trying to put him on his back or get him to tap? I'd have the asshole squealing if I could. I don't remember Angle saying how amateur wrestling rules applied. Angle wanted a shoot and he got one.

    War Games at Survivor Series?

As much as Snitsky has amused me, I really wished Flair would be in the ME. Considering, I've gone to shows on and off since 1989 (and this is the last show I'll be attending for a LONG while . . . too expensive) and have NEVER seen Ric Flair wrestle, it'd be nice to get this little monkey off my back.

    Smackdown Results *SPOILERS*

And you know what that means *chuckles* Actually I have no idea what that means. Seriously. Shit Out of Luck . . . The Thrillers in WCW would always say how the face will be SOL . . . and the others would chime . . . And you know what that means!

WWE Releases Billy GUnn and A-Train

From Lords of Pain who got it from PWI: Test, who has been out recovering from neck surgery since June, was informed of his recent WWE release over the phone by Johnny Ace. Ace assured Test that the decision was made solely by Vince McMahon In an almost unheard of practice, WWE let the wrestler go while he was out and physically unable to work. He will need at least six more months to recover. After asking Ace what he is supposed to do now that he can't work for six months. In an unsettling moment, Ace commented by saying something along the lines of "we hoped you saved some money." He then told Test to call WWE when he was healthy, to which Test replied "no thanks." -------------------------------------------------------- Well even if Test was a dick to that mentally challenged fan, I don't think he deserved all this. But I for one am not broken hearted about it.

    The Old School questions thread

Nationally, I believe it was Brutus Beefcake at WrestleMania VI, but Perfect did lose an IC Title match to the Ultimate Warrior in March of 1990 that was on the MSG Network.

    The Surviiiiiiiiiiiivor Seriiiiiiiiiiiiiies Thread

1.) Favorite world title match at the PPV? Sid/Shawn --- Sid rules the world! 2.) Favorite SSeries team elimination match? This is a tough one since I mark out for most of them but I think special praise needs to go the women's elimination match in 1987. Great work by just about everyone involved. 3.) Favorite face / heel (or both) SSeries team assembled? The Visionaries --- The Model Rick Martel, The Warlord, and Power & Glory 4.) Favorite non-world title, non-team battle match other than Austin / Hart? Perfect Team vs. Flair/Ramon . . . Great chaotic brawl 5.) Favorite segment? Obviously the hatching of the Gobblygooker. 6.) Things you hated besides the Montreal Screwjob? While 1992 had a good card, they absolutely raped tradition by having only one elimination match which consisted of 2 tag teams vs. 2 tag teams and once one man was eliminated, his regular partner was gone as well. Crapola!

Dave Meltzer comments on WWE's problems

It urkes me when Raw and Smackdown consistently use one or two full segments to show highlights from last week and/or a 5 minute dialogue session backstage. It sucks for the viewer at home who wanted to see a little action and especially for the one in the arena who has to feel like he paid $50 for a ticket to see the coming attractions. Pretty depressing. At least WCW would fire up the B-roll during someone's entrance to get fans caught up on the current feud.

Would've been hysterical had Beau Beverly kicked Michaels' ass. Maybe The Genius would've read a poem afterwards.
  21. SurSer90: The Warriors vs. The Perfect Team While Mr. Perfect was credible his teammates had no prayer. The Demolition push ended w/ SummerSlam 1990 and it was clear that the LOD were Vince's new bad boys in town. Although, I will admit I didn't think it would be only The Ultimate Warrior surviving. I figured he, Tornado, and one of LOD would survive.

Actually, I have a sneaking suspicion it could be 3-on-3 in the Elimination Chamber w/ Evolution vs. Benoit/Jericho/Benjamin.
