    The Old School questions thread

Bash at the Beach 1995 was the only outdoor BatB show. SummerSlam 1992 was also outdoors.

    The Old School questions thread

As for the 1st question, Mabel 1st made his presence felt in the 7/95 IYH WWF Title Lumberjack Match when he attacked Diesel during his match against Sid. Once Deisel retained the title, the feud escalated. As for Bundy, he did have a series of vignettes (Godzilla style) in late 1994. I believe he did get WWF Title shots around the horn against Diesel early in his title run but I have to check Cawthon's site to make sure.

    I'm looking for these now

I've got a commercial master of Starrcade 1995 (labeled 1996) but not w/ the slipcase. $8 shipped if you want it. I can also make you 1st Gens from the commercial masters for 16 others on your list if no one can get you masters.

Covering the Survivor Series press conference

If it's not addressed, ask if there will be traditional 4-on-4 or 5-on-5 Survivor Series matches.

    Davey Boy Smith/Shawn Michaels

that was an awesome battle royal which i believe was for a title shot on the next Raw or something similiar, and HBK didn't want to be anywhere near Bulldog or anyone else so he took a dive. Actually, the battle royal was for nothing. It really only led to increase the heat for the Bulldog/HBK showdown on Raw. I remember HBK cutting a promo on how Bulldog won a meaningless battle royal but he won the Royal Rumble.

    Davey Boy Smith/Shawn Michaels

I'd swear they had a 1992 match on Coliseum Video when neither was champ and I want to say DBS bagged a DQ win . . . but for the life of me, I can't remember which video it was. EDIT --- Got beat to it. Here's the excerpt from Cawthon's site: - Davey Boy Smith defeated Shawn Michaels (w/ Sensational Sherri) via disqualification at 7:58 when Sherri grabbed hold of Smith's hair while on the ring apron and wouldn't let go; after the bout, Smith set up Sherri for the move before Michaels was able to distract Smith and allow her to escape the ring (2/17/92; Tampa, FL)

    So...Uh...

I'm writing in Snitsky for the World Title shot.

    Best near falls ever?

As much as I'm not a Jeff Hardy fan, after all the shit he had to go through from Taker the past year, he really should have gone over for that one night. He could have gone into Smackdown and been ordered to defend vs. Kurt Angle. Angle would destroy him and beat him for the title. Then, at Vengeance 2002, Rock could win the title in a Fatal Fourway (ya gotta throw Hardy in for that one match instead of a Triple Threat) and everything would be back to how it was anyway but the casual fan would be under the illusion that indeed anything . . . ANYTHING could happen in WWE . . . of course HHH would have ruined that in time anyway but still.

^^^ If so, you have to hook a Clevelander up w/ some MSG/SNME goodness.

WWE News & Notes from the 10/11 Observer

I see your point. But it'd be absolute hell for WWE to try to determine the fair market value of so many of the former wrestlers individually.

    Best Wrestling Quotes...

(Survivor Series 1991 when a miscue from The Rockers cost them the match. What makes it better is that the camera is on Monsoon/Heenan at the time so we can see their expressions) Heenan: Well Monsoon, it's simple. If you'd read the pages of the World Wrestling Federation magazine, you'd know that these guys don't get along. Monsoon: (With headset nearly falling off his head in disgust) THAT'S NOT IN THE MAGAZINE!!! Why don't you get SMART?!?!? Heenan: What? Do you just look at girly magazines all day? You have to read the World Wrestling Federation magazine. Monsoon: Gimme a break!

    Weirdest Choices for Wrestling Themes

How did they determine who would use the theme that would be eventually used by the Heavenly Bodies & the New Foundation? It sounds like it'd be alright for Jim The Anvil Neidhart, but sounds awkward when Pritchard, Del Ray, or Owen Hart would come down to it. It would have worked out better for the short lived WCW team of The Men at Work.
  18. MillenniumMan831

    So...Uh...

I was just thinking along those lines, but I think it would be more awesome if Rodney Mack won. Palumbo is a good choice too I propose Stevie Richards to be the benefitee (if that's a word) of the TSM ballot stuffing.

WWE News & Notes from the 10/11 Observer

Well, $10,000 is $10,000. Plus, it said they'd get a percentage of anything w/ their likeness (How much this would be? Who knows?). So, they could either pout about having their likeness used, sue (which can be a long, stressful, expensive, consuming process), or take the cash and be ok w/ it.

    OSSOTD 10/6/04: Halloween Havoc 1994

    ^^^ You got it.

    Worst ending to a PPV?

In all fairness, Halloween Havoc 2000 concluded w/ Goldberg's win over Kronik.
  22. MillenniumMan831

    WWE 24/7

That is probably one of the top 5 dullest matches in Coliseum Video history. Even Monsoon is bored out of his mind. He cites Luger possibly coming off an international trip for his lack of effort . . . well he puts it more eloquently than that.

    WWE 24/7

I highly doubt once a price for WWE 24/7 is set, it will ever go down. They may add more programming or market it differently, but the price will either stay steady or go up.

    WWE 24/7

From what I understand, it's about $6.95 per month.
