They also finished the AWA section as well. ECW/WCW and the timeframe categories have remained untouched. And that's what the reference list is for I figure even if they do archive everything, it'll be just a matter of time before they drop the ball again regarding this.

Awesome. I was a bit puzzled that only one video would work smooth while others wouldn't. Sometimes, I get some minor buffering issues myself. I just close WMP and reopen it and everything works fine after that.

WWE General Discussion-November 2008
MillenniumMan831 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
It was reported a week or so ago that all WWE referees won't be seperated by brand. -
To speak for Legacy, they beeped out Lawler's references to Bad Ass Billy Gunn from Survivor Series 1997. Though the crowd chanting Faggot made it through.

Are they any worse than Adorable Adrian's AWA getup?

IIRC, according to Luger's shoot, he had been trying to get a new contract worked out during the summer of 95 since it had expired. Vince kept brushing him off. According to him, he just wanted some job security so he went to WCW . . . for less money than he was making in the WWF according to Bischoff.

Alicia Fox dancing to the rotation of the giant swing was awesome.

While Striker scored w/ the Duke Droese reference, he dropped the ball by not noting Swagger missed a Vader bomb.

I agree with you on the rumble. Seems like far too much of a crap shoot. It's an irish-wip-off to the finish. There should be more of a relationship between damage done and hoe easy it is to eliminate someone rather then the "if you have a red body part you can't hold the ropes on the way out" default. Thanks for the heads up about the rumble. I'll probably just ask for it for Christmas. Being the huge Royal Rumble/battle royal mark I am, it sounds really disappointing . . . kind of like HCTP's rumble except that game was supposed to be sort of arcady. Definitely some good suggestions on how the rumble should be done. I mean I don't mind some quick eliminations here and there. For example, if you were charging your opponent w/ a clothesline near the ropes and he doesn't react, he goes over and may or may not hit the floor. If he counters, he ducks his shoulder, and you go flying over the top rope. That way, there'd be some timing involved. Maybe once a wrestler enters the ring, his moves will have double impact for 20 seconds or so to sell how fresh he is and how tired the field is. Blah, I don't know. Hopefully, they focus on it in an upcoming year.

So, WWE apparently employs 8 year old boys and assumes many other major corporations do the same. -
Jeff, you clumsy fool.
-
I can't imagine what Vince would be thinking if this crowd reaction were to have happened during a CM Punk title defense. Boy, apparently Edge and Vicky kissed and made up in hell.
-
Did JR just reference the WWF Title? I'm guessing Edge hoses Cena out of the World Title.
-
Show beat the crap out of it.

Crowd: CM PUNK CM PUNK CM PUNK!!! R-Truth: That's right, CM Punk, who has a question. CM Punk: Boston, Massachusetts . . . What's up?

The Boogeyman has teeth now?

The Gobbely Fuckin Gooker!!!

CMW - Apparently, get a new one.

What Would Be Your Theme/Entrance Music?

Hmmmm, I'd go w/ Sammy Hagar's "There's Only One Way to Rock" -
At the risk of sounding like a caveman, does anyone have the PS2 version? If so, is that worth a buy? I have HCTP and FPR and may be ready to pick this up. Also, how do some of the special matches play like Royal Rumble, HITC, Elimination Chamber, battle royals, ect?

I'm surprised Hart/Austin didn't make the cut. And I was kind of hoping for Warriors/Heenan Family from 89 just for the chaos of it all. I upgraded to WMP11 and I can finally see the vids I couldn't before. While I was able to import my old library from WMP10, I can't seem to add any of the new links to the WMP11 library. Just watched the 3/21/94 Raw. Maybe I was the only one, but I marked the fuck out when Koko B Ware actually got some revenge on Jeff Jarrett. Not only that but they went to commercial w/ him and Randy Savage celebrating w/ "Birdman" blaring through the PA.

Ah ok, I don't have WWE 24/7 so I basically have to scavenger around the torrents and take what I can get.
-
I love how Tunney was "out to lunch" around 9pm.
-
Not too bad. I can probably get used to these weekly updates. Looks like I'll definitely have to upgrade to WMP11 as the Corporate Rumble and the 06 SS match don't seem to work on WMP10. Add that to the first Fink special not working on WMP10 and it doesn't look like it'll get any better. The Fink's Top 10 Survivor Series Matches Part II WWF Championship - Mankind vs The Rock - 1998 The 10-Tag Team Match from 1988 (JIP) Alundra Blayze and 3 Japanese chicks vs Bertha Faye & 3 Japanese chicks - 1995 WWF Championship - Hulk Hogan vs Undertaker - 1991 WWF Championship - Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels - 1992 Yikes, only 7 out of the 10 matches weren't already available in 750k. Cmon Fink, you're better than that.

If only they were actually selling an AWA shirt, I'd buy it. I missed my chance to buy it when they were pushing the dvd since I figured the price would drop before the supply drained.
