Has anyone else done this?
MillenniumMan831 replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in General Wrestling
Mark down a vote for Mr. Perfect at Royal Rumble 2002. I REALLY marked out when he made it to the final 3. -
A lot funnier than HHH talking smack...to the turnbuckle. OK That was funny too, but Martel's was better. Did the Santana/Martel feud EVER end? It seemed likeevery now and then they fought each other on T.V or beat each other up in the Rumble match. That feud and the HBK/Jannetty feud are timeless. For WMXX, they should have The Rockers vs. Strike Force and let Tito and Marty walk out on their partners for once.

Spike TV's video game award show to include
MillenniumMan831 replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
And to think, I thought it would be HHH and Brock Lesnar there playing Smackdown: HCTP against each other. Right after the F5, HHH would pull Brock's controller plug and win with a Pedigree. -
I think you're thinking of Jim Neidhart. He wasn't responsible for the fall of WCW, but he sure didn't help. People just seemed to tune out when he was on . . . probably due to the ill advised goatee. Bah da . . . dummmmm

Basically, the topic asks it all. I still remember the good ol days when there was a half dozen entrance theme sites I'd visit daily. Now, there seems to be zilcho. I can't get into Themetitan. Are there any left?

Yeah, by 1997 the fans were sick and tired of the nWo. But they accepted it because they knew Sting vs. Hogan was a perfect fit for a MegaEvent like Starrcade. And they knew Sting would DESTROY Hogan and the nWo would fall apart at the seams as a result of it. Unfortunately, it never happened that way and the rest is history.

Any WWE/WCW/ECW Theme Sites Left?
MillenniumMan831 replied to MillenniumMan831's topic in General Wrestling
Thanks . . . I'm surprised no one has tried to make an edit using his Souled Out 1999 entrance. I have the home video version of it and you can barely hear the announcers over any of the themes. Probably a production botchup, I know, hard to believe for WCW in 1999. -
Any WWE/WCW/ECW Theme Sites Left?
MillenniumMan831 replied to MillenniumMan831's topic in General Wrestling
Yeah, it kinda sounded a bit Oriental. I used to get pissed when he'd make his entrance on Nitro, then they'd always cut off his theme when he was only halfway to the ring. Juvy's was catchy as well. -
Next week . . . we enter 1996. Of all the years to choose, WHY 1996? Oh well, the Stone Cold stuff oughta be good. Hey, didn't Bret take a lengthy hiatus in 1996? I think I just answered my own question. EDIT --- Did anyone else think we were going to see a Curt Hennig tribute next week? They show a clip of Perfect with HHH and the narrator says, "Next week we will dedicate the entire hour to . . ."

Any WWE/WCW/ECW Theme Sites Left?
MillenniumMan831 replied to MillenniumMan831's topic in General Wrestling
The only theme I'm specifically looking for is Psychosis's WCW theme. But I figure no one has that C&C. But I take whatever I can get my hands on. -
Wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Funaki is Austin's buddy.

I'm guessing he meant the Sting/Flair Clash match on disc 3.

Not bad . . . Thanks. -
Oh Gosh, how many more of these amateurish Southern Fried Dubbya See Dubbya bullshit gimmicks could we possibly need?!? ----- Vincent Kennedy McMahon

I second that. The spot where Martel bodyslams Jake, Jake gets up, and THEN Martel drops an elbow still makes me laugh.

COMING UP CAN FLAIR OUTLAST WINDHAM ?????????????

It started with her trying to imitate Ernest Miller (which sucked) before going into the hoochie on the dance floor stuff. Just a waste of ten minutes. Eh, about one minute or so of the hoochie dancing is alright. It was the other nine minutes that were boring and brutal to sit through. So, how's it compare to last year when she had a quick T&A match vs. Dawn Marie? Of course...that was during *that* angle. The T & A match at least pretends to have something to do with wrestling. But then again, it was during that angle, so call it a draw. Well, if you're gonna have Torrie "wrestle" Dawn Marie, you may as well have them dance/strip with each other for 90-120 seconds and then have one fall down and the other pin her.

His butler whateverhisnameis made the introduction.

Gene Okerlund from a 1996ish Nitro after a Four Horsemen interview: "There's many in the crowd holding up the four fingers . . . gotta gentleman over there who's about three fingers short."

As always, good stuff. BTW, the last controversy free battle royal was probably the #1 Contenders BR on Raw when Booker cleanly dumped The Rock for the duke and the right to lay down for HHH at the grand daddy of em all! I miss The Rock already.

New Easter Egg found in Flair DVD

Lance Storm's impression is up there as well. -
Absolutely . . . I'm surprised they acknowledged him as Dustin Rhodes, the son of Dusty.

TV Champ Chris Jericho on Thunder in the Fall of 1998 on why the TV Title is more prestigious than Bill Greenberg's WCW Championship: If you're watching tv right now, I am your champion. If you like to sit at home and stuff potato chips down your mouth while watching the boob tube, I am your champion. If you're married to the remote control, you're married to Chris Jericho. And if you like to channel surf, you're surfing with me. Hang ten, Daddio!
