Ah yes, the Honky Tonk Man perfected that. A great tactic to use when my buddies and I would backyard wrestle back in that era. Fuck hitting each other with lights when you can hold your opponent by the hair, ask the crowd (usually 1-2 people) if he should be hit again, then do the crazy Sgt Slaughter windmill before clonking the opponent.

Not sure if it was already mentioned,

I'm holdin out hope we get the Santana/Savage series as an episode. IIRC, the MSG matches are clipped on CV's "Macho Man Randy Savage & Elizabeth". It would be awesome to get those complete. -
I keep playing against my brother in All Pro mode and it is ridiculous. Over half the TDs during our 3 games have been INTs. Heaven forbid one of us can muster up a decent drive and score a TD like a normal team. W/ 2:00 to go, I actually punted on 1st and 10 down 7-3 because I felt I had a better chance to pick one off and score a TD rather than score one on offense.

Hit it on the head for me. Loved the movie but it was a bit frusturating having McLovin isolated from Seth/Evan.

WWE 24/7 Discussion Thread - August 2007

The first part of History of the Intercontinental Title was awesome. Patterson defending against DeNucci (eh), the complete Patera title win over Patterson (awesome), and Morales defending against Slaughter (short but good). Part 2 on 8/15 is supposed to cover the Morales-Muraco feud. JRs pick last month was HBK vs. Vince from Mania and thus far has been hit or miss. Wrestling Hot Beds has great potential. North Carolina this month, so it's the Hardys' first title win from 1999, Flair-Rock from 2002, Helms-Matt Hardy from No Mercy 2006 (the best of this show), and Flair-Vader from Starrcade 93. Hopefully the selection improves when this summer skin shit stops. Very cool. I think I'm going to re-invest in it. Any word on the "Surprise" they said would only be available on 24/7 Online in September? The Old-School month seems interesting as long as it doesn't show all videos I've seen before. Thanks for the help! Even if it does, it'll be nice to have them in 750K quality rather than 300K. I'm kinda bummed my hard drive recently crashed and I lost all the online links to Benoit's matches that were taken off the WWE 24/7 Online webpage. The links were still active but they were wiped off my WMP Library when the pc went poof. -
Probably just 3-4 matches from it I would suspect as even if they used the whole 2 hour block, they wouldn't be able to fit the whole event in.

Nevermind, I'm using MAME now, works a ton better.

So, I finally downloaded Raine along w/ WrestleFest but after a few minutes it stops, loops the last second of sound over and over and the screen goes black. Does anyone know if I need to download some kind of patch or if I should try running it w/ a different program? Any help would be mucho appreciated.

Wrestlescale - Results You are central in your beliefs about wrestling. You accept the idea of both old-school and sports entertainment but are not extreme in either way. You believe that angles and matches are equally important to create a good wrestling product. Most similar booker: Paul Heyman Most similar promotion: TNA 2005

I think he goes out there and does exactly what WWE expects out of him. That said, I get a little embarassed when they announce him from Cleveland, OH . . . I mean c'mon he's like an hour west of Cleveland, move him to Toledo. Shit, even the Beverly Brothers were from Shaker Heights, OH which is like 10min away from downtown Cleveland.

I'm pullin for Duggan to take it. I know he and Sandman both have "zero out of ten" chances but it'd still make for an entertaining segment or several. And while Raw generally bores me and most others, I'm lovin these biweekly battle royals after years of getting 1-2 per year. -

I wonder if WWE owns the Idol Stevens name or if that's his real name. What a cool fuckin name that can go to someone else. -
Sid shows his softer side saving Mike McGuirk from Big Bully Busick then threatens to take out his future manager Harvey Wippleman.

The visual of Bam Bam dropkicking Andre the Giant after the 1/88 match is awesome. And yeah, that is indeed the Jimmy Hart battle royal. One of the rare battle royals where it's 4-5 faces (Poffo, JYD, and I think the Bulldogs) against one heel at the end (Greg Valentine w/ Hart still under the ring).

FWIW, TNAWrestling is back on YouTube.

I always hated Shawn's bitchy character once they got into high school and beyond. Probably jealous he couldn't touch Topanga.

I noticed that too. I guess no more TNA Today w/ Don West's Insane Deal of the Day.

The Curb Your Enthusiasm vid is alright but yeah Perfect Strangers rules all . . . especially Tenay/West high fiving. Though I must say Russo's winking in the 1st vid was infectious. Two Poles on the Pole on a Pole Match could only get a 1.1
