I checked in w/ customer service regarding wwe.com not archiving the June 2006 matches and then making the month unavailable. Pretty much got the runaround . . . hopefully not.
-
It sure sucks you got to put up w/ all this just to watch some matches in 300K quality. The generated e-mail said they'd get back to me in one business day. I can't check it until this evening. But hopefully they fix the problem because I don't want this happening every month just so WWE can save a little on their bandwidth.

Was Joey doing this piece on a treadmill? He sounds out of breath.
-
FWIW, the June stuff was never archived and is now unavailable. Not that I had a craving to see Taker/Bundy again, but it's the principle of the matter. I shot over an e-mail to wwe.com that I'm sure will go unread and spammed.

Hmmm, I don't remember being donked $3 for signing up. But this was Oct of 2005.
-
I hope before posting the August update to the WWE Online 24/7, they remember to archive the June stuff into its respective category.

I'm pretty sure it was noted that his wife died.

They need to take the ball and run with it. No one will just hand it to them. - HHH

Any chance Punk could make his debut against Angle?

I'm hoping a "Deacon" chant (in the cadence of IRRRRWIN IRRRRRWIN)breaks out during Tuesday's main event.

OAO ECW on Sci-Fi Thread for 7/25 (Week 7)

Does this mean Batista won't be at Smackdown next week? Or is it a Monday Supershow? Cause if Batista isn't at SD, they may as well have King Booker do a Gauntlet Match where he disposes of all the peasants. -
It's hard to believe he would be fired rather than just harmlessly let go since he was a job boy from late 1986-mid 1987.
-
Not for $5000 dollars. It's really $500 . . . like anyone else would bid on it.
-
Can't blame him for that.
-
I'm not exactly sure, but I'm guessing he was either semi-retired or taking time off due to his three straight television jobs. Upon his return, it was acknowleged that he had taken some time off. I did find it bizarre that he was made to look stronger in losing to the Warrior than losing to Piper.

Check out Danny Doring's entrance video on this page: http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/extremists/dannydoring/profile/ WWE sure didn't spare any expense putting this one together. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT --- And don't forget to take a peek at Roadkill's: http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/extremists/roadkill/profile/

How come they didn't make all this Kiss of Death hooplah when Nunzio planted one on Rikishi? Or was that just a kiss? -
Did Barry Darsow ever do any jobs w/ the Hole-in-One gimmick? I just remember him beating the crap out of people when he had them putt instead of wrestle. And yeah, ham-n-egger was Bobby Heenan's lingo for a jobber back in the 1980s-90s.

I love the look Sister Sherri has when Booker drops the n-bomb. Booker's expression is great as well as that as soon he is done speaking he is like "aw shit, I got carried away." I love how Mean Gene and Stevie Ray completely no-sell and deadpan the comment

I think I now have a new favorite squash match. I just checked out a Headshrinkers vs. Virgil/Red Tyler match from Challenge the weekend of the I-C Battle Royal as that was being hyped. - Virgil gets ambushed at the onset yet gets his token offense in. Virgil handles both Headshrinkers until he tries the double noggin-knocker spot that never works on those guys. Virgil gets laid out but makes the tag to Tyler. - Both Headshrinkers are still in the ring yet Tyler ducks a double clothesline and actually decks Samu/Fatu w/ one of his own. He then goes to the top for a high-cross body but gets caught. However, at the other corner, Virgil comes off the top w/ a dropkick to Tyler's back to put him on top of both Shrinkers for 2.5 count. - Now, they're pissed as they KO Virgil w/ a double thrust kick. Referee Bill Alphonso tries to revive Virgil, but can't. However, he doesn't call for the bell since Tyler is the legal man. Alphonso rolls an unconscious Virgil into his corner as the Headshrinkers bloody up and decimate Tyler. The fans start a "Virgil" chant in the hopes that he can recover and help his partner. He doesn't move a muscle as Tyler is finished off w/ the Shinkers' double-team faceplant. Sorry for the lengthy recap of a jobber match, but damn, it was quite the unexpected spectacle.

When did Eaton tag up w/ Joey Maggs? And don't forget Eaton's 1994 pairing w/ Steve Keirn as part of the Bad Attitude.

While this was a good, fun match, Hogan had already lost the title by then. -
Only saw a little bit of Impact this week but geez, that Lethal promo at the top of the show was awful.

There was some kind of contract dispute in late 1984 . . . he went on to do GI Joe and then the AWA.

<------ My favorite 2 are right there.
