I just watched 98 and good god was that an abortion...yea i don't think i really need to say anything else.

This was the first ECW PPV show that I purchased on PPV. I had to go to my aunt's house because she had the new fangled digital cable. It was a good time and even before rewatching this show today I can still remember the Balls chair shot to Corino and the "Oh my God" on Balls's face. It was awesome!

Im a little pissed at Comcast here in St Paul....they pulled all the stuff that was done on 7/1 and I went in this morning to check out the new stuff and there isn't anything....so annoying

My favorite special was at good ol Patrick's Bar...they always have good food and every night at the end of happy hour they have what is called 'the fast 15' every drink is 75 cents for 15 mins. Good way to get shitty quick. Sunday is retro night with staggered drink prices start at $2 and going to a buck from 8 to 11. The best is Monday though...from 7 to 10 its all you can eat homemade pizza and tap beer for $8 bucks. They have these killer pizzas that they make up and freeze and cook to your order. Usually a couple of us guys would go to watch MNF and often suck down 2 pizzas each and a couple pitchers. Not a bad way to start the week.

Are you gonna be in Minneapolis/St. Paul most of the time or Duluth? Makes a big difference in offering suggestions of things to do.

Having had a pretty shitty month myself and turning to this board to vent, I feel your pain. The unknown is a scary thing. I am terribly sorry to hear that your Mom had a stroke. Hopefully things will get better. Having shitty people at the hospital just compounds an already tough time. Just try and be strong! Here is hoping you receive the strength that you need.

I thought the show sucked but the cars looked cool and the talent and vision were very impressive. RIP.

Saw both Semi-Pro and Vantage Point on Saturday. I really enjoyed both movies. My fiance and I had the theater to ourselves for Semi-Pro and it was hilarious stuff. I admit it is the same stuff from Ferrell but it works for me. Woody Harleson was really good and anything with Maura Tierney is good in my book. Vantage Point was a pretty fun ride and was an interesting way to tell the story. The last 30 mins of the film were a pretty good ride and made for a nice finish to the movie day. It was fun to try and piece things together.

Hey everyone... Well I have never really been one to ask for help. I am an idiot most of the time when it come to things like that. Some how believing that I will find the strength to get through on my own. Well todayis not one of those days. I am reaching out to anyone I know and many that I do not know. Here is the basic gist of the story. I have a 10 year old little sister, her name is Natalie Rose. In August she was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, in laymens terms she has a brain tumor on her brain stem that is inoperable. This was a crushing blow to our family. Since that time we have been doing anything and everything to fight the tumor. She has taken many steps forward and all to often taken steps back. The last 48 hours has been especially trying for all of us. Natalie's breathing has become more and more difficult. She has been in more pain as of late because she is to weak to force out mucus in her lungs. She has basically been immobile since she started radiation treament in October. She has some movement but is unable to walk or things of that nature. Obviously there are plenty of other detail but right now what is important is that she is showered with love. We are asking that you take some time and just send a prayer or positive energy, something, anything that might help her push through this most difficult time. We are not ready to let her go, she has to much fight, she has worked to hard. We need time to let new medicines work to get the radiation out of her body. She isn't able to do the fighting on her own. She needs strength wherever she can find it. So I am asking all of you to please help. I know it may be asking alot but I would trade places with my little sister in an instant but I can't do that, so all I can do is search high and low for help. Please prey, please send love, please do what you can. Im getting 1700 from Fed 350 from Minnesota Better enjoy it this year cause next year the marriage tax will kick me square in the nuts. Hopefully my student loan stuff will help out when I get to claim that next year.

I am watching disc 3 of a 5 disc set of MOTY candidates from 2005...and currently on Low Ki/Homicide vs Samoa Joe/Jay Lethal from 8/13...other things I have seen today, 2/16 Kowada vs Kojima, 7/9 CM Punk vs Roderick Strong, 7/23 AJ Styles vs Jimmy Rave, and Eddy vs Rey from GAB '05...tons of other great matches that I havent gotten to yet, this has been a fun set to watch.

I am working with a buddy at starting a new midwest based wrestling promotion. We are looking for ideas for the name of our promotion? We are thinking maybe doing something like a single name i.e. Shimmer but not opposed to joining the alphabet soup of companies. Any suggestions would be welcome, and who knows we may just use your idea.

Anyone know if the class has been announced and who was on the ballot? Particularly curious if Chris Jericho was up for voting this year?

It is just scary, traffic was already bad in the area and this is only going to make things worse, hopefully all the folks that can be rescued have been, because the weather is about to get pretty nasty down there. Yea and plenty of people were giving it the 'WTF' treatment, my gf was very excited as it was a J.J. Abrams project via his production company Bab Robot. I guess things will ramp up as we get closer to January but I will be seeing it unless it seems to suck a great deal more than the first preview I just saw. According to IMDB it has a fake working title of Cloverfield and was written by Drew Goddard.
