No, it's... YEEEEEEAAAAAHHH TERPS~! What a freaking awesome comeback. I know they shouldn't beat Duke, but really, they shouldn't have beaten Wake and NC State.
-
I've never seen a catfight turn into a 30-minute beatdown. Who beats on someone for a half-hour? Fuck, don't your fists have to get sore from hitting someone that much, or your arms get tired from swinging at someone so often? Jesus Christ.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!

HHH throwing Stephanie down in the middle of the ring and fucking her like a $5 whore. We'd have 700 people on then, with half of them going "OMG B00BIEZ~!!!!!" and the other half going, "Bah, it's missionary... even in sex, he has to put himself over."

He'll play for the Ravens, after the arbitration hearing goes against him, and Ozzie Newsome is still willing to present him with a reworked contract. And then Ray Lewis will lay him out the first day of training camp, and all will be right with the world.

I was wondering who it was. I know there were 12 teams at one point. Shrug.

I'm a good writer, and generally a good card player.

Just to chime in, I'd take them in the order Pierre, Anderson, Damon. Pierre's a .300 hitter, puts up a .370 OBP, walks more than he strikes out, and could steal 50 bases with a wooden leg. Anderson is a model of consistent run production. He's averaged 30 homers, 120 RBI, and a .300 AVG for the past four seasons. Sure, his OBP isn't as high as Pierre's or Damon's, but Al, by judging him based solely on that, you're doing what you said Bored was doing: fixating on one stat. Damon's still good, and his xBA has been .306 and .297 the past 2 years, so he could hit .300 again. Other than his 30 steals, though, he's a fairly empty offensive player, so I'll put him below Anderson.

Excellent analysis of the situation, Loss.

Martha Stewart found guilty on all four counts.

What has George Bush done to help Ken Lay and the Enron crowd since that company went bust? Didn't Bush's mother-in-law lose a nice chunk of coin when Enron went belly-up? -
For the record, I got a PM from Kingofthe909, saying FS had sent him some kind of IM bomb on AIM. I told him I can't control what people do to each other on AIM, nor do I care. If things happen on the boards, that's a different stroy, but AIM is AIM. And an IM bomb, even if it was sent, isn't "hacking."

Damnit, Al, I was going to go there.

Hey, there's always curling.

Christ what the hell is wrong with you OAOAST/PT'e

I concur. Sure, it's a shitty thing to say to someone, but it's not worth a ban, IMO. -

It seems like all bitching, flaming, and drama regarding the OAOAPT/OAOAST issues are being confined to this thread now. Good. Let's keep it that way, everyone, and keep it out of the other folders. Carry on. ::continues to agree with Thoth, FWIW:: -

If we take this context then we can see this is his fiance IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME~! -
All right. In an effort to keep the DRAWMUH~! to a minimum, and because the questions of what happened and why have been answered, I'm going to close this thread. Anyone who still has flaming or kvetching to get out of their systems can do so in Hardcore Discussion.

Two reasons. 1. Proper channels weren't followed. In a job, there are consequences for not going thru proper channels and getting things done the wrong way. There's no reason it should be different here. 2. It was in the Hosted Forums section. The SWF is there because it pays to be there, and the OAOAST is there because Popick played his beloved money card on Dames. Any other fed or forum that goes there should have to pay to be hosted like the SWF does.

What I meant by saying Josh did the right thing is that he didn't go and approve it himself. Not to undermine him or anything, but he's a board admin for technical reasons, since we need a resident guru on staff. Had he known that you should have gone to me directly, I think he would have told you that. BTW, I don't plan on banning anyone over this.
-
Josh, you definitely did the right thing. This drama isn't your fault. The fact remains that something like that requires the approval of Dames, or me in his absence. Taking a survey doesn't cut it.

I was rather curious when I saw the OAOAPT this morning, so I went to the Staff folder to see what was going on. After reading various mods' take on the issue, I told Zack to delete the OAOAPT, since it seemed to have questionable origins. Polling the mods isn't the way to get an e-fed placed in the Hosted Forums folder. You make your case for another e-fed down there to Dames, or in his absence, to me. This whole mess could have been avoided by not jumping the gun, and by actually going thru proper channels. And no, I'm not going to be talking to anyone on the phone about this. I can't imagine a more colossal waste of my airtime than having to talk about e-fed drama.

Meh. My team seems mediocre. I like my first two starters, and I have a reliable closer, but speed is going to be a concern. Which is odd, because I've finished first in steals all four years I've been in my money league.
-
I doubt it, since SNKT is both privately-hosted and has a much smaller member base. Something like that could quickly get out of hand with as many members as we have, and I don't know the details of Dames' hosting plan.
