I think there's more whining and boo-hooing in that thread than should be allowed by law.

Actually, Al, I think Tejada is going to have a big year.

Important Note The draft has been moved back a half-hour, to 7:30. Same date as before.

He seems two years away to me. BTW, 5 starters per team was fucking retarded.

People reverting to posting names they used when they "left the board?"
-
Bah. No RAVENS~! jacket, so this deal obviously sucks.

You are worth exactly: $2,564,612.00. w00t~!

Not really. We still get them at work, but since we have Symantec Anti-Virus on the Exchange server, all the virii get quarantined, and the user gets a message that the virus was quarantined. The problem with a lot of these socially-engineered worms is that they use names from people's address books, so an email that looks like it's from your friend might very well be carrying the worm. You might be able to block individual senders or certain types of attachments, though, which would alleviate the problem.

Marvin, Stern and Robin were saying life wasn't exactly easy for them under the Clinton regime, either.

The articles, both from British sources, clearly say the British were doing at least their share of the spying. Don't try to absolve them because of your anti-US agenda.

I don't think he was trying to imply that Bush was in on some big conspiracy to get him off the air (I listened to Stern this morning, too). I think he has a point that the country and the FCC are flipping out since Janetgate, and he seems to be a target now. This is despite the fact that his show isn't as "shocking" as it used to be. Clearchannel is supposed to go before Congress, though, so this issue might not be over.

Both my parents are cool, so I've no complaints.

It's probably Netsky.C, which was "released" yesterday and caused a lot of problems. We got a bunch of infected emails before Symantec even had a virus definition in place(they had one for Netsky.B, but the .C version is a brand-new strain). By the time we got the definition (and we get them pretty much right away), we'd gotten hundreds of infected emails, and had at least six actual cases of virus infection, which are still being worked on. Update your definitions and scan again. If you opened the attachment, though, you might be fux0red.

So far, that seems to be the case. I like the idea of having suspensions as a step between a warning and a ban, but the question is how useful a bloody suspension is. It strikes me as a good policy for the WWE folder, simply for the sheer volume of posts and the amount of traffic that place gets. Around the rest of the board, maybe. The results so far could be skewed simply by the folks who were on suspension. I think the usefulness of it is worth watching, and when Dames comes back, the staff can recommend keeping it or dropping it (personally, I think the feature is quite spiffy, but if it's better for the board to jettison it, then away it should go).

That's an awesome interview. One of the best I've read with a retired sports figure.

Put some goddamn glue on his gloves and you've got a deal. You can have Orlando "I'm a big fucking childish shithead" Brown.
-
That'd be a LEGIT fucking backfield, though. If only one of them could block...

We should have a bake sale to help ol' Howie.

Stern is syndicated by Infinity Broadcasting. Clear Channel carries him on six stations across the country, so I doubt he's sweating this. If anything, he'll spin it to his favor like he's done all the negative press he's gotten in the past.

Sigh. This certainly isn't what we needed. JAMAL~! was supposed to be the cornerstone of the Ravens' charge to the playoffs this year. Now, even if he manages to avoid jail time, many sources say the league will sit him down for a year anyway. That leaves the Ravens with CHester Taylor, Musa Smith, and a lot of cap room. If he's guilty, then fuck him, and I hope he rots in jail.
