"PALESTINE SHOULD DIE AND ISRAEL IS THE MIDDLE EAST'S HAVEN OF DEMOCRACY~!" I didn't say the same thing, though, as I added the tilde-bang. Seriously, though, if Israel wanted to get rid of all the Palestinians, they would. And it would take them about two days. The fact that we can still speak of Palestinians in the present tense is a testament to the patience of Israel in this long and bloody conflict. Both sides obviously have blood on their hands, but the Palestinians do nothing but kill innocents and rescue workers. There's no way to morally equate those reprehensible actions with the retaliatory acts of a nation defending its people from senseless killings.

B-X, if you're going to flamebait people like that, do it in NHB.

Concurred, Al. I finished 3rd, which isn't a bad showing, to be sure, but I never got the STRANGLEHOLD~! on this league like I did the money league. Which, BTW, I won for the second year in a row.

In that case... GO COMMIES! WOO-HOO! An ad on TV every hour, a full-page ad in every newspaper, and hours of talking it up on the radio. Did you know that you can't spell "Howard Dean" without "Now a Red?" Delightful!

A little surprised I haven't seen this here...
Dr. Tom replied to Mr. S£im Citrus's topic in Current Events
No, fuck you. I've never once said anything about children "deserving" to be mistreated, starved, and abused. Just because I have no desire for children of my own doesn't mean I have some Grand Wicked Desire to see the children of the world suffer. Ass. This post was even more useless than what you normally write. Good job. -
Bah. Jarlaxle and Artemis Entreri were the best villains Salvatore ever wrote about.

Total collapses? His team didn't have that much talent. Playing over your head and then coming back to earth does not equal a collapse.

On a semi-related note, my review of The Rundown was sent into 411, but hasn't been published yet. Ashish told me I could do the second review for it (they wanted to, for all the interest in the movie), but then someone else had one on the site. If they don't use it, then I'll post it on TSM.

"Lavatory" Maybe someone needs to pay more attention in high school.

The more I read about incidents like this -- and they're appallingly common in Moslem countries throughout the Middle East -- the more I think we should just let Israel torch that whole part of the world and be done with it.

Likewise. I was surprised to hear that Hargrove got fired, really. My hopes for the Beattie/Flanagan Regime were apparently too high, however. Considering the final AL East standings have been the same for the past six season, and considering the Orioles have made no appreciabe talent upgrades during that time, one would think Hargrove would get a chance to manage next year's team, which looks to have more talent than in years past. I've long been convinced the Orioles would be better off if the Angelos family would just vanish from the face of the earth. This is the latest proof of that.

Curses. I had a pirated DVD of The Two Towers shortly after it was released in theatres. It was definitely DVD quality, and the only way to tell it was an Academy screener was the occasional "For Your Consideration" blurbs that would appear on the screen for a few seconds. Having this didn't stop me from seeing the movie twice in theatres, nor will it stop me from getting the four-disc SE DVD release, so I guess I'm not the typical pirate.

Ah, no thread about someone being banned would be complete without Bob Barron putting on his ill-fitting Sojourner Truth cloak and complaining about the Grand Unfairness of Things. I generally like you, Bob, but you have so much sand up your vagina that you should be queefing pearls anyday now.

TSM Poster Tournament II: Round III
Dr. Tom replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in Poster Tournament
Damn. Oh well. Chave, please provide me a list of every poor misguided cretin who voted against me, so I can make the appropriate bannings. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~! -
I think the number of people that do would surprise you. No, it really wouldn't. I already know that most people take the internet (and their presence on it) far too seriously. I guess the point was that *I* don't give two pins about anyone's post count, and there's no point in tying up the staff because 2000 people want their precious lost posts back.
-
He was. And he missed the entire 2001 season. Ray Lewis was injured during the 2002 season. Here's some examples from my recent (and very excellent) NFL Report about the running game: # of teams with 20 or fewer attempts: 7 # of those teams that won: 1 (Cleveland) # of teams with 30 or more attempts: 11 # of those teams that won: 10 (San Diego has the lone blemish here) # of 100-yard rushers: 6 # of their teams that won: 4 (Fred Taylor and LaDainian Tomlinson shined in defeat) Oh, and Miami rushed the ball 44 times against Buffalo, and had the ball for more than 40:00. If that's not a blueprint for victory, then I don't know what is.

Damnit, I want NFL Sunday Ticket. It's asinine that the NFL would restrict it to DirecTV and cut off 90% of the country from being able to get the service. The cable companies should get on board.
-
Guys, if you could, just use my picks from the NFL column on the mainpage (with my tiebreaker points therein). I'll LOCK the Jags/Texans game.

Someone who makes a post about another man's ass hairs being caught in his teeth has no room to take others to task for the quality of their posts.
-
The name change is done. I'm not going to restore your post count, though, for a few reasons: 1. If I did, everyone would want their "lost" posts back, and fuck that noise. The staff has better things to do than add +X to 2000 posters' counts. 2. The hit affected everyone to some degree. 3. Who gives a shit about post counts?
-
MUAHAHAHAHAHA~! Cower in fear, foolish taxpaying mortals, as I enjoy another EVIL LAUGH~! at your expense. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!

Don't forget his goal of being a firefighter to get out of all the speeding tickets he'd planned to rack up.

Only if you feed me the calimari afterwards.

Incorrect. Jamal Lewis got hurt during the Super Bowl defense season of 2001. Ray Lewis was injured last season. Yes, bringing in Grbac and getting rid of Dilfer was incredibly fucking stupid, but I've ranted about that enough. I voted for the running game. Having a strong running game allows you to control the clock (thus subsuming the TOP choice), and allows even a mediocre defense to play better by staying off the field more.

"Otis" was banned and will remain banned. And if Johnson creates another troll gimmick like that, he'll be gone for good.
