I doubt I'll be able to make this one no matter when you have it. Thursday is school (though I'm out at 10, so after that is good), and my weekend is booked pretty solid. Maybe next time. On a happier note, the AFC part of my NFL preview -- because Flyboy just loves things in two parts -- should be up tomorrow or Wednesday.

No, but getting pulled over eleven times in two years does. I've gotten exactly one ticket in my 13 years of driving, and that came when I was 19 years old. In the ten years since then, I've had nothing on my license, not even a parking ticket. I speed to the point of going about 7-10 mph over the limit, usually on highways, but that's it. And if you're actually going to become a firefighter just so you can get away with speeding, then you're a bottom-feeding scumsucker whose priorities are ALL out of whack.

I haven't paid for a box of Magic in a while. Between compensation for judging and packs I get for doing well in tourneys, there's just no need. That's the path to free product, kids: do well when you play, and when you don't play, judge.

I prefer the British version. Drew Carey's OK, but he cackles far too often for my tastes. Clive Anderson is much drier, and a much better host overall, considering the format. Besides, the British just do comedy better.

Yay, I joined. Marvin, about your point structure: frankly, it sucks. Running backs and receivers are worthless unless they're getting a point per 10 yards. QBs should get a point per 25 passing yards. These are de facto standards in every fantasy football league. No one is going to be excited by all their players having a good day, only to see their fantasy team "rack up" 55 points. Field goals should be on a 3/4/5 tier. The rest of the scoring looks OK, but some of those things really need revision.

I nabbed Gobble as a $5 reserve pick in the money league. He's 2-0 now and looking like a nice keeper for next year.

I'd be interested in that if you get it going, Marvin. ::looks at list again:: ::sees "Marshall Faulk" on said list:: Faulk's not the best back in the league anymore (I'd rate him 6th, presuming we see a healthy Priest Holmes), but in the Rams' offense, he's still the most dangerous player in the NFL. Yeah, he's a little fragile, but his 14 games are better than a lot of people's 16. Martin's getting a little long in the tooth, but I'd expect him to put up decent numbers since the Jets' proposed vertical passing game is going to suck ass. Satanico, see if you can get a better backup RB than LJ without giving up too much. Maybe a sucker who got drawn in by Chambers' TD catches of two years ago would be a good target.
