In a perfect world you might have a point. But sometimes the tribute is in what a person can overcome in all the wrong they have done to still become a good person. Everything I read about Eddie reminds me of how Sam Kinison (who was a childhood hero of mine) ended up: The guy who gets his life together just in time for him to have it all taken away when he dies. That just sucks. Combine that with Eddie being a totally great wrestler... it isn't too hard to separate the man and the wrestler and still be a fan. What can I say? I miss seeing him on TV. Didn't they find drugs in Sam Kinison's body as well?

He's pretty spot on with the problems in WWE today. I can't agree with Rey Mysterio though. He has much more value with the mask because kids eat it up and they make good money selling off that. Also, Jericho may not have had big success at the top, but he has been used much better at the midcard level then he was in WCW. People seem to think main event guys are the only draws, but when midcarders are used right they can get people to the shows as well. Jericho was always someone I'd pay to see no matter where he was on the shows.

I doubt they have enough faith in Jeff Hardy but I wouldn't mind that at all. Something new to shake things up and they can keep Orton on the chase since he's been really good in his role in the last month or two. I also wouldn't be against Jericho even if he does look like Jon Bon Jovi.

Come on now. Jericho was way over with the crowd throughout 2000 and most of 2001. He more then rebounded from his first few months in the company. Awful booking during his 2nd heel run/title reign is what he never recovered from, but even then he was still more over then most of the mid carders today and still will be when he returns. As far as "Jericho isn't good enough to "save us." Quit over thinking. JBL calls himself a "Wrestling God" for goodness sakes.
