Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
haVoc replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
I bet Benoit and the "steroid investigation" affects the HOF for the next couple of years. Vince is going to be hesitant to induct guys who died young from drug abuse. -
Please, someone remind me of these good matches Triple H had in 2002. Not a one comes to my mind. I recall 02/03 being equally bad.

Sandman is getting sued by that scumbag who claimed he assaulted her during one of his ring entrances so WWE probably looked for any reason to release him so they can further themselves from the lawsuit and more negative press. They already said through a statement something along the lines of Sandman being a private contractor and not an employee of WWE.

I really hate that they try to act like HHH and Steph aren't married. Anyone who buys the Bio DVDs or watches other shows like the HOF know they're together. Hell, during the DX/McMahon feud they all but said HHH was the father of Steph's child. It's things like this, among many other reasons lately, that I'm losing interest in this scumbag business by the week. Speaking of the scumbag business, I thought Kennedy was suspended?

Taker and McCool?

Haven't seen this any where else.

I thought I read WWE didn't want him back?

WWE is lucky this guy hasn't been on Nancy Grace and Co.

I hope someone stabs this mother fucker right in the neck so he knows how it feels when these dogs have their necks ripped apart for "sport."

Wrestlers have down side guaranties in their contracts, right? I assume they get paid no matter what weekly/monthly.

Rey's name has come up on 2 or 3 different list this past year. If he's not suspended then that's bullshit. Also, didn't Edge and Helms get named in the Albany investigation? Suspending them for 30 days will really affect them while they're on the "DL."

With the exception of Vince McMahon, King Booker might just be the best promo guy in the company today. I disagree when people claim the "King Booker" gimmick has run out of gas. He easily generates heat with a mic in hand.

It's ass backwards Raw. They probably feel he needs to pay some dues (jobs) before being given a big push. -
The OAO Thread For The Twentieth Annual SummerSlam Games
haVoc replied to RonL21's topic in The WWE Folder
From TMZ: Hulk Hogan's son Nick was seriously injured in a car accident tonight in Clearwater, Fl. Law enforcement tells TMZ the accident occurred around 7:31 p.m. ET tonight. According to police, a Toyota Supra, driven by Nick Bollea (Hogan's real name), was traveling at a very high rate of speed when it lost control and hit a raised median. The car was flipped around and the back end hit a palm tree. The impact, we're told, "destroyed the entire car." The two male occupants were flown by Medivac helicopter from the accident scene to a hospital in St Petersburg. We're told both injuries are "very very serious." The accident happened on Court Street, a main drag in downtown Clearwater, causing the entire street to be shut down for hours. No 911 call was made to police. The accident was actually called in by an officer who rolled up right after the crash happened. Oh my. UPDATE, from PerezHilton: A male passenger was critically injured in the awful accident, but police are saying that it was not Nick Hogan. We all saw this coming, didn't we? Cnn says nick is in serious condition. http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/08/26/h...rash/index.html Perez has pics of the car: That CNN link has footage of Hogan at the scene. I'm not surprised at all that this happened. Is Nick a fuck up or something? I don't watch Hogan Knows Best so why isn't this surprising? -
That's why you never drive on Memorial Day weekend.

My biggest problem with the character is they changed him over night. He could have stayed Johnny Nitro and transformed into this character gradually within a month and it would have been fun to watch him evolve. Also, I'm not crazy for the Morrison name. They didn't have to change his name for him to be a Jim Morrison clone.

Randy Savage. I want my Macho Man DVD set, damnit!

Douche bags.

I really could careless about the Miz. They could replace him in any role with Matt Striker and get more entertaining results. Matt Striker is the most under appreciated guy on the whole roster. He's far from being great in the ring, but his Mic skills and heel character is gold. They should capitalize on his talents.

TMZ has a few post up about his death. I haven't seen it any where else yet. I guess the media is tired of pretending they're sicken and outraged over wrestling.

WWE's ladder match DVD is on PPV today. It's about 2 1/2 hours long and $14.95. Is it worth the price? I can DVR it.

Triple H's return pop depends on how the shows are booked. SNME is being taped before Raw on Monday so if HHH is booked for that his pop for Raw will be mild. Or he's keep off SNME and the crowd will be too tired to care by time HHH comes out on Raw.

I loved his debut but I also liked when Jericho interrupted the Undertaker and Taker dropped that line "I get more shower time then you get ring time, boy." That cracked me up at the time.

No stage, no ramp, no big screens, no pyro and no explosions. Some wrestlers half ass it while others cut loose and have fun because there is no pressure of TV. Personally, I hate when people bring signs to house shows.

I hope it's under. If ratings go up then Vince will be in 5 segments a damn week.
