Why is Big Show on this list? Oh, right. He's not 5'10" 220lbs.

The Rundown finished the year with $47.6 million in domestic gross and $4 million in foreign gross. The estimated movie costs including production and marketing sits at $110 million, which puts the movie deep in the red. Of course, strong DVD sales can turn things around. The average at best success of The Rundown is causing people in Hollywood to second guess The Rock as a bonafide box office draw and leading man. Many are also questioning his selection of roles. If Walking Tall does not do very well, most in Hollywood feel that the Rock will be back to square one. Ironically, the Hollywood types now think the Rock needs to remain closely associated to wrestling so that WWE fans can buy tickets to his movies. A few months ago, everyone was telling him to get away from wrestling because it was beneath him. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter/411 I never hear or read anything on this stuff about the Rock and I follow entertainment news quite a bit. Now Dave has inside sources in Hollywood?

So, the torch is saying there is a chance the day after Mania that Eddie and Benoit could be the world champions of each brand? Not sure how I feel about that rumor.

Because the NFL uses Aerosmiths music a lot during the pre game shows and other things. The NFL and Aerosmith, and Bon Jovi I think, do a lot for the same charities as well. Plus, it's smart to get older bands like Aerosmith, U2 and Bon Jovi on these shows because Football isn't just about kids and young adults. Older football fans are still fans of these bands and would rather see them then Limp Bizkit or Outkast.

How much does a Britney Spears concert go for? You'll be lucky if you even get to see the show. Britney is going crazy, she's partying hard, etc. That tour is just waiting to get canceled.

Off topic.. Buffy just reminded me of something. I saw the preview yesterday for Jennifer Aniston and Ben Stiller's new movie "Along Came Polly." Ben Stiller is playing basketball with that larger hairy man and he goes up for a lay up and Ben's face runs up his stomach and chest is disgusting and it made me feel bad for all those guys who have to wrestle A-Train.

The next step is finding big guys in law enforcement. Police, security, body guards, etc. Guys straight out of the Military. People who are trained in martial arts and strong hold shoots. Guys who could rip your shoulder out of socket and tie your arms and legs around your head if you ever attacked the President. Taker said in "WWE Unscripted" he wouldn't be shocked if with in the next ten years wrestling will get more stiff and becomes more of an off shoot from MMA and UFC. People want things to be more reality based.

The problem with Coach is they try to make him a play by play man. He's be better suited as a color commentator.

You wouldn't happen to be insinuating a wrestling personality would ever use cocaine would you?

Fine, saying "never" is wrong. Won't be another huge business boom for a while. I don't know. Want me to call Vince and ask him?
-
I also predict some people will never understand no one is a huge draw at the moment and there will never be another business boom like the attitude era.

Bono a No-go For Super Bowl The NFL still hasn't found what it's looking for--it just doesn't want Bono. The U2 frontman's offer to perform a duet with Jennifer Lopez during the Super Bowl halftime show was rejected by the organization. Bono had hoped to perform his new song, "An American Prayer," which he had planned to use as pitch to attract attention to the AIDS epidemic in Africa. MTV, which is producing the program, signed off on the performance, but the NFL flinched at the subject matter. A spokesman for the NFL indicated that the organization didn't find Bono's message in keeping with the atmosphere it sought for the Super Bowl. "We simply decided that we were going to deliver, as we do annually, an extremely entertaining halftime show," the spokesman told the New York Daily News. "We don't believe it's appropriate to focus on a single issue." Credit: E! Online

I predict Randy Orton begins to have consistently good matches and will begin to get huge heat and most will continue to come up with excuses why WWE shouldn't push him. Mush like Brock Lesnar who some still don't like because of his heatless push in the beginning.

Does it really matter? It's usually mid-carders who have no chance in Hell of winning the Rumble who do that to each other. I mean, if Kanyon pulls Billy Gunn over the top rope from the outside do you sit there and think "fuck, I thought Gunn really had a chance of winning this thing!"

The women wrestling on Raw are better then the current IC Champion.

Could Dreamer get the ax from WWE? Jim Ross has been given the green light to eliminate any salaries that he feels aren't producing, which has raised tension among wrestlers. One guy who is said to be especially nervous about being fired is Tommy Dreamer. Credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter/411

Remember two weeks ago there was a report a cruiserweight asked Vince how to get a head in the company and Vince told them to become 6' and 230?

E! was supposed to have "101 Most Unforgettable SNL Moments." The countdown was suppose to start this past Sunday night and then they showed the repeat of "101 Shocking moments." They promoted the show all last week and even digital cable has it listed as being shown. Maybe they pulled it at the last minute because they were unhappy with it and wanted to re-edit the show? Wouldn't be the first time they did this.

Why bother turning Austin? He never allows himself to look weak either way.

Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Outkast are among the latest performers added to the 46th annual Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy announced Tuesday (January 13). The acts will join previously announced performers the White Stripes at the February 8 ceremony, to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Former "Mickey Mouse Club" co-stars and 2003 tour mates Justin and Christina will, of course, perform separately, while Andre 3000 and Big Boi will be joined onstage by George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic; Earth, Wind & Fire; and Robert Randolph & the Family Band for a tribute to funk music. I'm starting to think all these leaks are intentional. Every week it's something different. I could see Vince backstage saying "Ha ha, now tell them I'm mad over the leaks!"
