    RVD's Hit List Continues

A little news on Austin It is still not known for sure when Steve Austin will return to WWE TV. WWE wants to get the fans hating Eric Bischoff as much as possible before Austin returns to cap off that feud. While the time off as worked out well since Austin is busy promoting his book, it was not planned out like that ahead of time. He was scheduled to promote his book on days where he was not needed by WWE actively. Regarding his rumored WrestleMania XX match against Vince McMahon, he has yet to be approached about it by WWE. The match likely has been discussed internally by WWE, but until Austin agrees to working the match (despite his neck which remains in bad condition), it can only be considered a rumor. RVD's Hit List Continues

And here is a house show report from Korea Just got back from Smackdown's house show in Seoul, Korea. Events: I got there a bit late so I missed the beginning, but the opening had Paul Heyman out in the ring, bragging about Brock Lesnar. Surprisingly, despite being a Raw superstar, Ric Flair was on the show; he came out and started arguing with Heyman. Heyman belittled the sixteen-time world champion and Flair, in turned, locked Heyman into a figure four. When A-Train came out and made the save, and Heyman booked a Flair/A-Train match for later that night. The first match pit Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty against the FBI (Palumbo/Stamboli). The match started off very slow, with both sides working the crowd for a long time before actually locking up. After hitting the Stinkface and the Worm, Rikishi won it with a Samoan Drop on one of the FBI (can't remember for sure which one). After the match, Scotty did his usual convince-Rikishi-to-dance routine and Rikishi came up with two kids out of the audience to dance. Scotty did another worm and tried to get the kids to imitate him; the first kid did a pretty decent worm. Ultimo Dragon vs. Shannon Moore: Moore was ostensibly the heel here, as Korea is still pre-Survivor Series. Dragon won with his finisher (don't know its name, shamefully). Afterwards, Moore got a decent ovation as well. Billy Kidman and Funaki beat the World's Greatest Tag Team after Kidman hit a Shooting Star Press. WGTT got a good pop coming out (and rightfully so). Shaniqua beat Dawn Marie with a big boot to the head. Shaniqua looks absolutely _huge_, I might add. A fatal four-way for the Cruiserweight Championship pit Tajiri against Rey Mysterio, Jamie Noble, and Nunzio in the match of the night. Mysterio got a _huge_ pop coming out. Tajiri first pinned Noble after the blinded Nidia was dragged into the ring, distracting Noble. A big "Rey" chant started up, although with the Korean accent it came out as "Reh-ee, Reh-ee", which sounded a lot like "Eddie" to me. Rey pinned Nunzio with a cool-looking maneuver. The finish came when Rey hit the 619 but Tajiri pulled the ref into the West Coast Pop, giving him time to hit Rey with the green mist for the cheap win. John Cena and Bradshaw came out for their match. Cena was over huge, and won even more pops incorporating some Korean words into his freestyles. They were facing Matt Morgan, Nathan Jones, and the Big Show. The place exploded when the Big Show came out; the audience was popping huge for any big star when they made their entrance, face or heel. Heyman came out next, starting off an "asshole" chant, saying that Hardcore Holly was scheduled to be Cena and Bradshaw's partner but that he was suspended and banned from coming to Korea. Right on cue, Holly came out. Holly won the match with the Alabama Slam on Morgan, but I don't think he's well-known enough in Korea after his long injury; the crowd didn't pop big for his finisher (or even seem to recognize that it was a finisher). The cheers for Big Show's entrance, and a big pop when he first entered the match and gave Cena a chokeslam, didn't diminish the "Big Show sucks!" chants though. Intermission: Flair vs. A-Train: Flair was the face and played a comic role for most of the match, starting a test-of-strength contest and getting forced to his knees using two hands against Albert's one, flopping around for a bearhug, etc. A-Train dominated for most of the match, but pulled Flair up at two to dish out more punishment. Flair put a knee up at an attempted Vader Bomb and got A-Traint to tap to the figure four. Post-match, A-Train extended a handshake and showed his respect to Flair. The Bashams beat the Guerreros to retain the Tag Titles. No Eddie/Chavo dissention; lots of Eddie/Chavo comedy, including a bit where the referee kept forcing Eddie to hold the tag rope and Eddie loosened the other end of the rope from the turnbuckle and dragged it all the way to the middle of the top rope, all the time still holding it. Eddie and Chavo were over huge. Finish came after Eddie hit a frog splash but Shaniqua distracted the ref, allowing the Bashams to switch and cradle Eddie for the pin. Brock Lesnar beat Chris Benoit in the main event to retain the WWE Championship. Big pop for both contestants as they entered; big "you tapped out" chant. Lesnar kicked out of the headbutt; Benoit kicked out of the F5. Lesnar blocked two Crippler Crossfaces but got trapped in a third and tapped, but the ref was out; Lesnar hit a low blow for the pin. An okay match, but on the short side, and not up to what these two are capable of. Post-match, Benoit says it was worth not winning the title to see Brock tap again; Brock runs out, enraged, only to get snapped into another Crossface and taps again to close the show. How many of you...

That was me for a few years. Two of my best friends were renting out this apartment and the family above them moved out so another friend and me moved in (my first time out on my own) and we had the whole house. That lasted all year with two roommate switches. One of the guys down stairs got his g/f pregnant so he moved out with her and then another friend moved in. Then my roommate lost his job and moved back with his family so he was replaced with another friend. We all worked but we partied like college kids. This house was like a keg house and we did that until we finally got the boot. Then my roommate, me and another friend moved into this 3 bedroom apartment. That was cool because the parties died down but the place was terrible. It was clean and well kept, but it was just old. Old wooden floors which made the house really cold that winter. Plus, there was this family who lived down stairs so we had to watch what we did AND they had two teenage daughters, 15 and 16, and they always wanted to hang out upstairs with us which is just asking for fuckin' trouble. Remember, I was 24 at this time and of course the friggen 15 y/o had a crush on me and my one roommate would always let them hang out. Their mother was cool, but seriously, what the Hell was she thinking letting their daughters hang upstairs with guys our age and she knew we drank every day? Anyway, around this time my friend from high school split with his g/f and she moved out with their kid so he ended up having this big, really great two bedroom apartment. I mean this place was the shit. All brand new and updated. Heat and hot water included!!!!!!!! Had a patio back door and this big yard we had access too. So yeah, I moved in with him. I'm out of that old place, away from the underage girls and my retarded roommates. I'm thinking Josh just breaking up with his g/f who he was with 6 years had his shit together and kept a clean place and wasn't into the party scene since he lived with a girl for so long and had a daughter. WRONG! Never move in with someone who just split with their long time girlfriend or wife! All they want to do is make up for lost time and party. So that went on for while until I couldn't take it any longer and finally moved into where I'm at now. My own place above my family where I can go get food when I'm low and I can use their washer and dryer. Everything else I pay for, though.

    How many of you...

I have my own apartment but it's upstairs from my mother and grandmother. And, no. It's not an attic you wise ass bastards! My uncle owns the house so they get rent free, my grandmother is his mother and he took the house over when my grandfather died. I lived out on my own for a few years with friends and other roommates and in late 2000 I was done with the everyday party scene and took this apartment when it opened. However, my uncle is selling the house soon so my grandmother is going to go live with him and his family. My mother is finally going to move in with her long time boyfriend and I'm shit out of luck at the moment because I need to find a new place. But, I have until the end of January.

    Wrestlemania XX update

Guess I'm just cheap and not that out going. I'd rather sit around around with a few beers and watch it on TV. And once I get my 55 inch TV it will be even better and should have it by WM this year. Whooo hoooo....

    Wrestlemania XX update

Despite dozens of rumors regarding WWE bringing in past stars for WrestleMania XX, Vince McMahon is said to be very against the idea of making the show focused on "old timers." Big names from the past may still be involved, but not in major matches. They may hold a ceremony or be spotted in the crowd or be involved in some other type of segment. That doesn't mean one legend may not return for a match, but do not expect a match like Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage or Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat, as has been rumored. Vince wants the focus of WrestleMania XX to be on the new stars and the future of WWE, not the past. After weeks of talk that Mick Foley would return to the ring at WrestleMania XX for a match against Triple H, it appears that WWE has turned against the idea. Right now, if WWE decides to involve Foley at the show, it will likely be in a tag team match or as a special ref. The reason for the turn against Foley/Triple H is that most feel Foley will not be able to get back into "ring shape." Triple H is also in nowhere near the condition he was in when he and Foley had their classic matches. Both Foley and Triple H are also somewhat against the idea of a rematch, feeling that it is best to not come and spoil the legacy of their past matches by trying to do another one. Obviously things can change, but right now, WWE is no longer putting much stock in doing another Foley/Triple H match. Credit: PWTorch.com VIP Audio Update

    Wrestlemania XX update

People actually come from around the country or world to see a Wrestling event? It's one thing to pay for the PPV, but to pay those ticket prices and plane or train rides? Screw that. I'm too cheap and lazy to take the five minute drive over the bridge to see a WWE wrestling event these days. WM or not.

Rock and Austin????????????? How about making that list better by putting Jericho and RVD instead? I did put Jericho,He's Y2J man, and No RVD Sux. RVD deserves a spot on the card. He's over. He works year round. He's never injuried and taking time off. His merchandise sells. People pay to see RVD.

    Wrestlemania XX update

Aren't house shows barely clearing like 1000 people? There used to be more people in the ECW Arena. I think the average is 3000. From ticket sales and merchandise and running 6-8 shows per week between the two brands they have to be making a profit.

    Wrestlemania XX update

There has to be legends. Orton needs to TKO (or whatever it's called) someone. And I like Batista. He seems to be getting better by the week so by March he should be good enough for a 'Mania match.
