I thought the crowd was pretty into the match. Once Kane came out and stood there like a fool when Shane was "punking" him out is when the crowd went flat.
-
The reports over the years of Shane trying to be one of the boys and not being accepted has finally got to him. Just like Steph, went cryin' to Daddy and Daddy said "We'll show those big mean wrestlers." He's a McMahon so it's in his blood to screw over the wrestlers.
-
I'm shocked he gave this match 4 stars and even more shocked someone would admit ::gasp:: Kurt Angle should do a job.

WTF? An ambulance match? Remember that great ambulance match between Bam Bam Bigaloo and Mike Awesome in WcW? Yeah, exactly.....

I love retro bands who hate to be called retro. It's a Hell of a gimmick.

Cut loose, go all out to make Vince McMahon look like the piss ant he is. Talk about the steriod trial. Talk about everytime Vince goes and does a interview with the media he makes an ass out of himself. Talk about how the media focus' on Wrestling because of all the deaths and some how bring all the blame back to Vince. Since it's a law class, write the paper like your a lawyer in court trying to send Vince to prison for 30 years.

Right, it wasn't like Hayes did that at the wedding itself. He did it at the after party ie reception where there was an open bar. I'm sure everyone wasn't sitting there with a glass of water, eating their chicken breast and baked potato when Michael Hayes all of a sudden jumped up on stage in a drunken rage and began singing show tunes.
-
What a bunch of bullshit. Someone getting drunk and cutting loose at a wedding reception doesn't give wrestling a bad name. People getting drunk and writing the shows is what gives it a bad name.
-
Um, people getting drunk at a wedding reception and making an ass out of themselves is shocking? Jesus Dave, get your nose out of your self-rightious tight ass and join the real world.

Metallica Cancels Tour Mental exhaustion may have been a factor... South American Metallica fans are dishearted as Metallica has cancelled their upcoming tour. The tour was set kickoff on Saturday. Reasoning behind the cancellation has been vague, citing “Physical injury and mental exhaustion.” This is the first time in Metallica’s 22 years of touring that they had to cancel a tour. Source: Much Music/411 OK, what will the rumors be? 1) Too much bad press from St. Anger. 2) Counseling for Lars after a mental break down 3) James fell off the wagon? 4) Kirk's wig fell off and couldn't find it? 5) Blame it all on the bass player?

Why do people hate that Edge feud so much? They had good match after good match from singles to tag matches. Boo hoo, he wasn't wrestling for the title. At least he was working on every show and PPV.

2002 was far from a let down. Kurt was on fire the last 6 months of the year. Everyones bitching and whining about him being misused over shadowed his work.

Who ever said the 4 minute WWE style matches nailed it. I'm just sick of WWE fucking up a sure thing. Rey/Kidman feud looked like it was going to take off and you know these two can go. So what does WWE do? They do the "classic" put them in a tag team so one partner can turn on the other to start the feud off. Then what happen? Something WWE didn't see coming. Rey and Kidman got crazy over with the crowds. So their feud got put on hold. They got a few tag title matches with WGTT which the crowds ate up. It seem like there was two sure options since they were so over. Put the titles on them or break them up. What did the WWE do? NOTHING....

Could be because both her parants have raspy voices as well. Your voice changes the older you get and Steph was pretty young when she first made her way onto TV. Anyway, I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Last night was the first time I've seen London and Spanky work as a team and they looked really good. Which means their get killed by the APA or shoved up a big fat ass.

I was going to add "All of the above" but that is too easy. Not many bands have all three traits in their music. It always seems like people judge bands by the lyrics to songs. Critics especially focus on that too much, IMO. Personally, I care more about musicianship. I care about the flow, groove and feeling I get from the music. More times then not I could give a rats ass what the singer is saying. I think a singers voice should be an extension of instrumentation. The voice should blend in with the music. Not over power it. Innovation in this day in age is way overrated. Bands like the White Stripes being critically praised because they supposedly sound different from everyone. I like the White Stripes, but damn they are overrated and RollingStone needs to get off Jack Whites nut sack. Anyway, what do you guys look for most in songs and bands?

Jericho gets cheered more then then faces alot of times. Steiner included.
-
Damn, I thought I was the only one. They looked and worked pretty good together. Steiner is the big power house and Jericho is the work horse. We need more teams like this. No one has really been able to get it right since Bret and Anvil, IMO.

Why not order them off line? I made out pretty good on the day those tickets went on sale here.

We don't really know for sure what happen. I remember in "Wrestling with Shadows" them showing Austin in the back after the neck injury, walking with agents and ice on his neck and Owen following him down the hall and into the med-room. For all we know Austin might have told Owen to fuck off and get away from him and that's what Owen did. Owen probably felt bad enough and didn't want to get into a conflict with Austin.
-
I can understand Austin being pissed off about the broken neck. He has the right to be mad but maybe he should try to get over it. How far has he come since then? How many titles has he held? How many events has he headlined? How much MONEY has he made? He's one of, if not the biggest wrestling star of all time. Go sit on your money, drink your beer and enjoy retirement. Thanks for the memories, Steve. Now get off my TV....

I think Nowinski first got his concussion from a clothesline from Bradshaw. Then he has continued to get them since.
-
I always liked the urban legend that there has been 2 or 3 Warriors, Undertakers and Kanes. Survivor Series 97' was a work. Benoit is next in line for a title run.

Oh, come on! No ones beard can touch "The Macho Man" Randy Savage. I have never seen him without it.
