I don't see how they would ever expect to get this ECW brand off the ground as something worth watching if Van Dam doesn't win the Heavyweight title at One Night Stand. To think of having Cena walk into One Night Stand as the champion and retain...they're treading on thin ice in really alienating a good percentage of their fan base. I highly doubt that Vince's ego will allow there to be an ECW brand. Sure he would. Allowing it to be successful is a whole other thing.

What the Hell? The report is all over the place. They don't get their own show, the matches will be taped before Raw then shown later during the show? What's the point of that? Why is OVW being turned into ECW if they're not going to tape there? They're going to have guys like Sandman and Balls working at the training ground instead of working full time? RVD will be ECW champ, but won't be working WWE house shows? None of this makes sense yet.

The problem is trying to draw arena size crowds if SD became ECW on Friday nights. Older ECW alum, the cruisers and new "unknown" guys may not draw enough. They would have to do a supershow every Monday, but that still doesn't help house show attendance.
