My point exactly. And this is all I'm saying. This thread is overwhelmingly negative... it's now uncommon to see a post about the actual content of the show. I mean, we've had one guy complaining about the others for the last six months and another person bitching about the flashbacks for the last year. All I'm asking is for actual discussion... if you're going to say something negative at least point out how you would do it better. And when I say that I mean actual ideas, not, "just tell the story better." I guess it makes more sense to me that someone who liked the show would seek out the thread to discuss it, rather than people who have already stated they've given up on the show posting week after week that its sucks. I got disappointed with 24 so I stopped posting in the thread, now I'm really liking it again so I went back. It's pretty simple.

If the shooter is Mandy, I will once again be behind the show 110% (right now I'm at 95%). That would be absolutely insane!

I've been thinking about how to handle all the negativity... whether to put posters on ignore, or start a new thread, or just PM the posters who like the show, etc. Instead, I've decided it's perfectly fair to be absolutely merciless to the people that post stupid shit and complain ALL THE TIME. The guy who said "stop derailing the thread by trying to shift the conversation toward the actual story" is straight up a fucking idiot. There actually is a way to complain constructively. The guy who said he didn't understand "that's what the words say but it's not what they mean"... seriously, can a person be a bigger moron? The lost writers even foreshadowed the point when they had Tom ask Jack if he wanted stones for his glass house. I'll bet that guy thought that the others had built Jack a new house. I can't fathom how people didn't see why Jack was attacked for his tattoos. One of the previous posts pretty much covered it, but the leader of that group was also the brother of the "tattoo artist". Jack forced the guy's sister to perform a sacred ritual against her wishes and against their society. How could anyone not get that? I guess it makes sense that they would also not like lost on the whole. I won't even begin on the guy that said this is not a character driven show. I mean really!

SJ is right. I feel a lot of loyalty toward 24, and I've been there since the beginning. But he's absolutely right. The complexity is gone from the show, and they continue to rehash. Another VP out to get the president? Come on. I'll give them the season, but man, these last three eps have been disappointing. Seriously, it doesn't matter what the statistics say if your conference sucks in their bowl games. Tofu is crap. I had to eat it for three years as a kid, and no one can tell me that it tastes good or takes on the tastes of the other foods & seasonings you cook with it. That's total BS... tofu tastes like shit. Organic root beer on the other hand, that stuff was GOOD. Also, it seems like both sides of this debate is forgetting about moderation. Can those on the side of soy dispute that it contains high levels of estrogen? Can those against soy dispute that it is perfectly healthy when eaten in moderate amounts? And similar questions arise for "normal" food. I've got to tell you, I'd rather eat an enjoyable diet consisting of moderate amounts of junk food, treats, alcohol, & cheeseburgers AND moderate amounts of healthy, organic foods & juices, and enjoy my life and die in my 80s than eat a miserable diet of healthy food that tastes like shit which would allow me to live to 200 so I can watch my body & mind slowly decay.

If you're judging USC's prospects in the Rose Bowl based on the losses to Oregon State and UCLA, then you're operating from a moron's perspective. What happened last Saturday had nothing to do with the ability of the players, and everything to do with an offensive game plan that was born out of a complete lack of respect for the opponent. The Trojan defense will have no problems against Michigan's running game, just ask Jonathan Stewart and Marshawn Lynch. Against UCLA, the play calling and offensive line performances were the worst of the Carroll era, bar none. The staff won't underestimate the Wolverines, and the players will be up for the game. We will beat Michigan. Mark it down.

First and foremost, congrats to UCLA... they kicked our ass. However, this loss was a coaching loss and nothing more. Double however, we will beat Michigan. Mark it down. I will even sig bet any takers.

Sylar must have super intelligence. He can easily understand complex systems, physiology, mechanics... I don't know if he actually eats the brains, I think he studies them and learns how to make his brain emulate the powers he sees. Not only is he fixing people, he's making himself special... selfish and "humanitarian".

To be honest, I think 90% of recruiting is effort. If you look at the programs that ebb and flow, it's because they're entirely at the mercy of their state's talent level and they hardly recruit nationally... Georgia is a perfect example. I can speak of my knowledge of Pete Carroll... that guy calls an enormous number of kids every year. Surprisingly, not many programs do that. I'm not ignorant enough to think that programs in California, Texas, and Florida don't have an advantage, but I think effort is a lot more important than people realize.

Anybody know if they're going to follow up on all of the hinted at human genetic experimentation? Also, can anyone explain how James went from the Bahamas to a freeway in Miami without skipping a frame?

I'd just like to point out that we feel the Rose Bowl is like our weekend or summer house.
