Hold on... I'm not really interested in aligning myself with a dude that pays for bj's, but that Jordan thing is pretty common knowledge. Also, where were the fairness whiners for KG's equal shot on Peeler? Both players used the same force in their respective altercations and were fined the same amount. Where's the problem? GREAT to see Tay stuff Reggie. That game had two of the worst calls I've ever seen, the Prince "blocking" foul and the phantom double dribble. But I'm glad Detroit fought.

from the mouth of a lakers fan. You see? I'm honest... I still think the Lakers are going to win in five, but I thought the Spurs were going to sweep after Game 2.

Re: the pick n roll... how come no one and I mean NO ONE ever calls Shaq out for being the weakness on D? Gary Payton comes the closest, but never says Shaq's name... just "WE need to step out".

Well let's stay with Minnesota for now... series IS tied.

HUGE props to Orale... you called it man.

Lakers in 5. And Kobe does not get the respect he deserves in this thread. Sprewell? Ha!

Capital punishment is still justifiable under Catholicism.

Well, a surplus means people are being overtaxed, and the president has very little relevance when talking about the economy. You were saying?

It should be one, 6-year term.

Flyboy, what are we going to do about NCAA? I'll definitely go for ESPN NFL, but I don't think I can give up on EA for college.

Yes, all over Peja... people seriously underestimate how good George is and how good he will be as long as he keeps his confidence up. But I won't continue debating him unless people learn to spell his fucking name right. Besides, it's not like Peja can consistently hit big shots in the playoffs anyway. The Lakers won't double Webber if he's hitting his shots. If he's hitting his shots, it means Malone isn't playing him physical enough. Webber will not be able to drive against Malone or do much post-up work, those are the things that require doubles. Besides, he'll get off the shot before a double can even get there. And I'd take my chances anyway... it's not like Webber is the most clutch player in the world. I just don't want Bibby to be the one getting uncontested chances. Eddie Jones has been a choker for almost his entire career. His signature move is pump-faking a wide-open 3, dribbling in, and bricking a 15-footer. Lamar Odom has all the tools and ability but his mental game is questionable... still has that Clipper mindset.

No one can stop KG. Pulling the chair is intelligent, not pussy. But it won't work against Garnett... he's too agile. 1-on-1 he'd score 50 points easily. But the Lakers win the other matchups...Cassell is hurt, Spree is inconsistent and can't touch Kobe, Hassell is not the shooter or defender a confident George is, and there is no answer for O'Neal even if he is a fatass. Lakers in 5 for that potential series. Turkoglu was left open on purpose... Webber cannot draw the attention Duncan did. That allows DG to stay with Peja...the Lakers will let Doug Christie take and miss the open shots when they inevitably will start doubling Bibby. Lakers in 5.

Devean George will be all over Peja. That is all.

Well, the media won't tell us about all of the positive things being done in Iraq, so why would they run with a story that makes Bush look good?

I didn't know enforcing 17 ceasefire violations and 12 UN resolutions required any vindication of all.

I just read T-Mac may also pull out because of safety concerns.

Good enough for me.

Actually Rip, the outcome was determined by Ice Cold Derek Fisher hitting the most clutch shot of his life. If you're not going to be fairminded about the whole situation, people who saw the actual play won't get anywhere with you.

It was one fluid motion... if you saw anything else it's because you wanted to see it. Why haven't you commented on the fact that the Lakers should've had .7 - .8 seconds in the first place?
-
Pretty much agree except for the typical Crusades bs.

Greatest finish I've ever seen! I really can't think of a player that deserves it more... really a cool feeling to know you're seeing something historic. The shot was completely and totally good by all counts... above 0.3 allows a player to catch and shoot in one motion, that's exactly what Fisher did (there was no turning). The clock was started on time and there wouldn't even be an issue if the Lakers were given between 0.7 and 0.8 as they should have been. I think the Spurs are crushed... but I still think they have a chance because of Kobe's health concerns. However I think the Lakers will close it out Saturday. What a game!

I knew there was no proper way to ask...but it's hilarious! Don't be a Ballsist...
