okay that was bad. White kid trying to rap bad. don't do that anymore, please. I just write the lyrics, I'm not performing it.

I've never understood how being mediocre with less talent is a bigger "achievement" than winning of any kind.

A little rap... What Friends Do I got 17 lines with 16 rhymes, word A few pats on the back and you keep me assured You heard, sick with the spoken word My true test, stickin' with my friends When they're all I got left They hang with me when girls they come and go Tryin' to break my flow, you never know When the right one comes along But they know, they'll tell you so The good ones, they got your back And they protect you from attack As it comes, you least expect it Sometimes random, a few times directed Deal with it as a tandem, or even a group You made yourself a dupe, so what? When conflict rises up, you show up That's what your friends do, they help you grow up Always look for the best in your life This could be your last day Times like these you need friends in your life When all material goes away Right here, rockin' badassitude No time, for a bad attitude No point in dwelling on the negative Too many good times I have yet to give Out to my friends, they've truly had it comin' Always catching up to me when I'm runnin' Or rollin' too fast, if you know me Maybe you can show me what I mean when I say Always look for the best in your life This could be your last day Times like these you need friends in your life When all material goes away This could be it, could be your last dance But you can live with yourself if you take that chance I heard, could be the last day for romance Absurd, but don't hang your hat on just reason Might be just another one of those seasons, of change I'm going up and down on the range This lyrical ability, of which I thought I had none Miracle of stability, friends telling me to try some Rapping, rhyming, a little song writing Itself, dancing out of my mind weaving No, my friends, I would never be deceiving I stand, or sit here, as just one person My light is lit here, my inspiration My friends, They taught me one major lesson When conflict rises up, you show up That's what your friends do, they help you grow up Always look for the best in your life This could be your last day Times like these you need friends in your life When all material goes away

That shot last night was unfuckingbelievable! Game 3 is the series for Houston. I don't think Jimmy Jackson can win by himself...Mobley needs to start hitting. Oh, and Kareem Rush is absolutely pure.

A wide-open 3-point rhythm shot is 100% better than driving to the rim against O'Neal. Also, Payton deserves MAJOR props for his denial of Francis. He showed me something I didn't think he had.

Penny has been kicking ass...Kidd's a punk.

What do you mean by "it all"? Every single recreational drug.

Spurs repeat, though I'll be rooting for KG.

Legalize it all, sez I.

Stuart Scott. Scott Van Pelt lifting his entire repertoire from Tenacious D. The ESPN agendas against Pete Rose and Bob Knight. Michael Wilbon is a racist punkass. East Coast bias.

Water Sometimes the water's too cold Sometimes the weather's too hot But when the journey takes us to this A place we know we must face It's our time to shake off this fear And be bold And when I come to this drink It's water I know I can sip A cold that's so frightening And yet so inviting I'll take it bit by bit Sometimes we stand at the rim And we need a helping hand The person who comes to our aid Is a person we least expect It's our time to shake off this fear And jump in And when I come to this drink It's water I know I can sip A cold that's so frightening And yet so inviting I'll take it bit by bit I'm refreshed right down to my soul Like candles of light in the dark My life is in my control And when I come to this drink It's water I know I can sip A cold that's so frightening And yet so inviting I'll take it bit by bit And when I come to this drink It's water I know I can sip A cold that's so frightening And yet so inviting I'll take it bit by bit

The One And Only 24 Season 3 Thread

More East Coast bias. The west has no scheduling conflict... -
Bullshit. Absolutely correct. I'm complaining specifically about arm-extension (happens all the time), as well as defenders bringing their arms down on Shaq's head and body or holding his arms on shot attempts. Happens all the time. You're right. I would have no problem with that if it was called on both ends. An aside: I'm fed up with Shaq's laziness and think he should be traded for Emeka Okafor. But I still want the game called consistently.
-
What a crock. This combined with the officials taking a shit on Denver's big win...
-
That was a foul, 100%. But that's not what Shaq was complaining about. His other offensive foul came on a Vlade flop, immediately after the previous Kings' possession in which a Laker player flopped on Webber's move to the basket and there was no call. That no-call sends a message that the game is going to be officiated a certain way. So on the very following play, Shaq makes a similar move, Vlade flops and the whistle blows. That is inconsistency and that is pathetic. Shaq also has a legit beef on his 3rd foul. He was completely out of position on Peeler's drive, he reached, and he deserved to be called for the foul. But it was a touch foul and if the game is going to be called that way, then Shaq should be on the line at least 22 times a quarter.
-
The Lakers were absolutely owned yesterday. Sacramento shut them down completely. Pathetic. I'm thinking of writing an article on the Laker lineup of the future: Kobe, Rush, George, Medvedenko, Emeka Okafor.

Jameer Nelson and Delonte West must be mentioned.

He should have spinning moves for his repertoire...Dragon Whip, Tornado DDT.....
