I'll kindly ignore the first part but Timmy IS awesome. I believe his band is called TR3. "Stream" is off the Live at Luther College album. AoO, I know you hate Dave, but you should check out "Halloween" and the cover of "Watchtower".

This fall I'm taking: Philosophy 262 (ge): Free Will, Death, and Personal Identity The prof is awesome and I never thought a 9:30 class could hold my attention so well. My ta can't speak english, which sucks, and I could teach the section better. I love the topic though. English Lit 262: 1800-Present Once you filter out the "evil-white-misogynist-Postmodern-truth-is-relative" bullshit, it's a great class. The prof is animated, it's easy to participate. Good shit.

Everyone I know is graduating college this year... in 4 years. And that includes all my high school friends. Nerds.

Your old school didn't break you man. And don't let it. You'll ultimately be made stronger through this struggle. Set a goal. It sounds like you want your degree. Go get it and beat your old school. Don't worry about the age thing. It's gonna take me 7 yrs. to get a 4 yr. degree because of my circumstances. I know you want everything now, but you got to crawl before you walk. My AIM is murphyjon8 If you need some advice, feel free to hit me up. I'm a good motivator Dames. Drop me a line.

Playmakers and the awesomeness of DH

I love this show. -
How so? It wouldn't "protect the unborn." It's keeping people from pissing in the gene pool. Sorry. Somehow I confused "prevention of hurting the unborn" by not allowing people to piss in the gene pool with "protecting the unborn". How stupid of me.

I'll do it. Illegal mexicans, as well as all illegals, shouldn't be in this country, using our social services. Legal mexicans that support them simply because they're mexican are racist.

Simply not outlawing something is not akin to a laissez-faire attitude. One should be more or less indifferent to it. It's one thing to verbally discourage something, it's another to hit you in the pocketbook.

I was just being a sarcastic jackass. -
I thought he was socially laissez-faire...

How many illegals participated?

*looks for his own name* So does this mean I get an automatic bye into the finals? Or this a race for 2nd place? -
Bif, just use it till you pass the class. Then use the technique that works best for you.

In CA, that's how it has to be. Hell, I'd vote for Ueberroth if I thought he had a chance.

Yeah, I could totally deal with Marney. We'd have good theological/religious conversations. I come across way more conservative on that stuff than I am in practice. And I could hang with Ripper. From the Sports forum, I can tell you're more intelligent on other topics than you might seem. Nothing against either SP or TheGame but I'd be uncomfortable around them. SP's a little too up front with his beliefs for my style, and sometimes seems judgemental. TheGame would stop every 2 minutes to make sure I knew he was gay.

Your credibility seems inflated, considering your posts in the Moussaoui discussion. -

That was before 9/11. -
I guess you're right, there. He was a little more sensible than his boss.

Like one that makes massive cuts on defense spending? Yes, I guess that President has a better understanding... the military works better with LESS money! Which one? The one that deposed the Taliban in a month? Or the Iraq one...you know, the most succesful military operation in the history of the United States?

I wasn't trying to hide my sentiments at all. I simply couldn't resist, as it is perfectly relevant.

I completely disagree with you in every possible way. The Gore/Clinton defense and foreign affairs policies, if intact today, would have guaranteed at least two more 9/11's by now. Bush was and is the right man for the job.

Ah, but that protects the unborn, and we all know that's hands-off for the gov't. EDIT: For Tom....I am 100% opposed to abortion.

I knew that. I just wanted to see if KR did.

Obvious damage control, but all the credit in the world for apologizing.
