Mick Foley co-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live

It's on right now. Pretty entertaining story with the musician about Maxx Payne.

Satellite feed of the Iron man match

They don't really say anything during the commercials. They mostly just sit there quietly and take a drink of whatever they are drinking or mumble something that you can't understand through the microphone.

Satellite feed of the Iron man match

The live feed hasn't been ripped the last couple of weeks. I hope it is this week. The group that has been ripping it lately sucks anyway, because they cut out the stuff during commercials break. On the feed it only goes black for a couple of seconds than goes back to show the match thats happening during the break period, but they cut out the entire thing until Tazz and Cole start saying welcome back from commercial or whatever.

    Angle talking at University

Brock tapping out was a good thing for his character. He is more over as a heel than he ever was before and the crowd starts up the "you tapped out" chants the minute he appears on screen.

    London Going To Raw?

-There was talk earlier this week that WWE was on the verge of calling up developmental wrestler Paul London from Ohio Valley. Although the latest word is that WWE officials have reconsidered this move, the talk earlier in the week was that London would be added to the Raw roster. Given London's size, most people assumed he would be added to the Smackdown cruiserweight division at some point. However, WWE officials are said to be of the opinion that the Raw side is lacking strong workers, and they felt that London could give them a boost in that department. This has led to some speculation that the Raw brand may also be adding a cruiserweight division, but from what I've heard the plan was/is to market London as an undersized heavyweight. pwtorch vip update

    Sean O'Haire

O'haire was better in WCW. When he went to OVW he turned to shit and they made him do a big man offense. In the WCW Powerplant, they were teaching everyone that high flying was the way wrestling was headed and everyone was expected to be able to do high risk moves.

    What is a suplex?

Random known fact: Suplex is actually French in origin and pronounced sooplay. American announcers have been pronouncing it wrong for years. Gordon Solie was the only announcer who pronounced it properly.

    Raw Rating

This week's edition of Raw did a 3.6 cable rating, with a 5.4 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. The show did hours of 3.5 and 3.8. That is way down from last week's 4.3 and would seem to indicate that Monday Night Football, which did a 13.0 broadcast rating, siphoned off some of WWE's audience. 1wrestling.com

    RVD, out by WMXX?

RVD WAS planning on going to WCW after the final ECW ppv in January 2001 and before the buyout was announced.

    RVD, out by WMXX?

Rob never really wanted to be in the WWE in the first place. He was planning to go to WCW before they were bought out, but then had no choice except for WWE. I doubt he will leave the WWE because he is making alot from merchandise and ppv bonuses and that is funding his comic book store.

WWE Notes From The 9/8 Observer

-Lesnar is doing so many jobs, because his regaining of the world title is imminent. This is the old mentality that the guy about to win the title should do a few jobs, thus setting up challengers when he wins it. -There is talk of Rock being the main star of Predator 3. The writer of the script, which will most likely be used, said he would be perfect. -Rikishi still hasn't signed his contract, which is why he isn't back. -Goldust blew out his elbow and will need to take 6 weeks off or possibly longer if he needs surgery. -Spike TV is in very serious negotiations to steal the NHL away from ABC and ESPN. This would take alot of money and could affect WWE renewal in 2005. It wouldn't affect Spike wanting to renew, but would probably be for alot less money. -They are planning on introducing Ernest Miller as a full time wrestler. -Lita is scheduled to start back this month. -After trying out the Mortis gimmick at weekend house shows, there is already thought to dropping it.

    9-8 Observer TNA News

-Jerry Jarrett, who has been quiet for some time, was said to be walking around really proud of himself since the reviews have been strong. It's been a neverending battle between him and Russo over who's booking and philosophy was better. The Panda people have gone back and forth, but they seem to believe the strong reviews of the recent shows indicate the Jarrett version of wrestling is better. Jarrett said he thinks the company would be profitable right now if they had stuck with him from the start, instead of having to dig out of the hole created. Todd Carter claimed that the 8/20 show saw buyrates noticeable higher than normal. -Sinn got the spot in the New Church, because Brian Lee no showed. -There is tremendous enthusiasm coming from the string of good shows and a lot of positive business news. -At the 8/27 show contracts were handed out to just about everybody performer that was there. WWE is now taking seriously as a threat, which means TNA better lock them up or get them stolen away, and also because of some licensing deals in negotiations. An interesting part of the contract is that they include medical insurance. -There are negotiations for a videogame deal, supposedly with EA Sports, a doll deal, and an entrance music cd deal. -There was a push to bring in Piper. He won't be wrestling, but will be cutting a promo on 9/17. -There are no dates scheduled for Sting. According to a close friend of Sting, Sting has made his money and has no urge to be on tv. He isn't opposed to wrestling, but it isn't a big deal to him. -Antonia Pena is scheduled to come to Nashville on 9/17 to try and close a talent trading deal. -Jarrett has received mostly cheers, but isn't happy with the noticeable boos he has received on the 8/17 show. The company said the boos came from the heel section of fans that hasn't been around in several weeks, but came back because they thought Raven, who is their favorite, had to win the title this time. The company was unhappy with them in the past and Bob Ryder has spoken to them about their reactions. Dave has heard different versions of what he said, but the company's take is they set aside seats for the fans and had no problems, but about 6 weeks ago, Ryder told them the company is going in a different direction with strong face vs heel storylines and that he thought they should play into it. They complained and stopped coming, but a few started trickling back and most were back for 8/27. Jarrett, upset that they were booing him, as well as Harris and Storm, told Bert Prentice to tell them they weren't welcome at the shows. Storm was really upset, because he injured his neck, and they were taunting him as he was being helped backstage. -Before the show security confiscated several signs, because they considered them racial(something like saying D'lo really isn't black) or in poor taste(calling women whores). -Juvi showed up in good shape, because he is starting to realize he is screwing up his potential. He did lose some brownie points with some for showing up late, but this wasn't his fault as his plane was delayed both weeks. The decision to bring him back or not will be more of a cost deal than anything else. -Hart's backstage reputation wasn't as bad as the reputation that preceded him, but didn't do himself any favors at the finish vs Juvi. Juvi used the juvi driver for the big pop and finish and right after 3 Hart nipped up and started walking around looking for cheers, instead of selling the finish. People were amazed by his lack of sense. He also got some negative feelings, because they thought he was kicking out of too many moves in the Guerrera match, but that wasn't his fault as the match was layed out by Guerrera. The feeling was that Hart had very impressive high spots and was a good worker, but due to the expense of flying him in from Calgary, it is questionable if he will be brought back. -Nosawa impressed people and will likely be brought back.

EA Sports, 1 week until written contracts

I never said TNA turned down EA. Either of them could have turned down each other. Watch it be those cocksuckers at Acclaim get the license. If it is Acclaim they can go suck a dick, because I'm not buying that shit.

WWE Notes From The 9/8 Observer

The Rhyno/Tajiri thing was talked about, but there wasn't anything new in it. Basically it just said they were told to slow down and work a chin lock for a long time until the fans started cheering for a come back. They didn't. Vince came out and did it. Backstage Tajiri acted like he wasn't affected by it, but Rhyno was acting really embarassed and hurt by it. The heat was put on Rhyno and the agents and Vince both came and talked to him.
