For backup I'd say it's between him and Dan Uggla, Uggla is a better offensive player. Phillips is a better defender (much, much better), base stealer and is an intelligent player in how he plays the game. But, Uggla has those HR's, and that is what fans, and prob. the manager goes by. I say Uggla makes it over Phillips.

I'm sure you're not going to believe anything unless you see it for yourself, but Keller has plenty of sources and the relationship isn't a secret they're out in the open about it. And Keller is accurate, most of the stuff attributed to him that is wrong is from copy and paste sites that misinterpret something he said or wrote. I've been a subscriber for years and he's been right on just about everything. But hey, nothing I say will convince you so have at it.

Up All Night With MarvinisaLunatic Part 2 Non Gulag Edition

That chest pic was hot, how about a fully shirtless pic? -
I'm a reds fan, but come on Chase Utley is a stud and deserves the all star deal. But, the one thing Phillips really deserves is the gold glove. Hasn't made an error in 76 games, makes great plays and has unbelievable range. I'm sure the GG will go to Utley or Hudson though. Then again Gold Gloves are meaningless now and don't show who is the best defender at any given position due to stupidity.

Yeah, in an audio show Keller and Bruce Mitchell brought up that Michelle and Taker were a couple. It's not a secret or anything

Oh yes, Michelle McCool the girl Meltzer said was too nice for wrestling when she first started. Who within 6 months of working there had divorced her husband, started shacking up with the biggest power broker in the smackdown locker room (who was also married) and had been hospitilized for a probable eating disorder. This really is an amazing business, does it bring out the worst in good people or does it just attract bad people? Niedhart was working matches while McCool was teaching 3rd graders in Bumfuck, Florida. But since McCool is fucking into power I know who will be thought of as right.

I can't believe the Brewers would be willing to give up this much for a guy they have no chance in hell of signing after this season. CC to Brewers? The Milwaukee Brewers are serious about trading for Indians left-hander C.C. Sabathia — more serious, perhaps, than any other club. The Brewers' offer for Sabathia includes Class AA left fielder Matt LaPorta, according to sources with two other clubs that are interested in acquiring the pitcher. Class AA shortstop Alcides Escobar also may be in the Brewers' proposed deal, one of the sources says. And the Indians scouted the Brewers' Class A Brevard County (Fla.) affiliate on Wednesday night, looking at third baseman Taylor Green, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Brewers likely would prefer to substitute a lesser player for Escobar, or perhaps would insist upon additional talent if the Indians demanded his inclusion. But if the Brewers indeed were willing to give up both LaPorta and Escobar, the Sabathia sweepstakes might be over before they started. "I can not imagine anyone would top that," the first source said. The second added, "That deal should get it done." Sabathia, 6-5 with a 2.16 ERA in his past 14 starts, is scheduled to pitch twice more before the All-Star break. The Indians could act quickly to maximize their return or allow demand to build by holding Sabathia until closer to the July 31 non-waiver deadline. LaPorta, 23, and Escobar, 21, would be a steep price for Sabathia, who is headed for free agency at the end of the season. But the Brewers, facing a potentially dramatic off-season makeover, are in a more urgent position than other clubs, rival executives say. Right-hander Ben Sheets is almost certain to depart as a free agent; he and Sabathia would be the two top starting pitchers on the market. First baseman Prince Fielder, represented by Scott Boras, could be traded out of fear that he would not sign with the Brewers long-term. The Brewers would collect four premium draft picks if Sheets and Sabathia signed with other clubs. They also could obtain two or three minor-league prospects if they traded Fielder. But they would not be as competitive in the NL Central next season, even with right-hander Yovani Gallardo returning from knee surgery. The Rays, another team interested in Sabathia, are not as motivated to make such a short-term grab, sources say. The Red Sox, deep in starting pitching, believe that the price for Sabathia would not be worth the marginal upgrade that he would provide over a pitcher such as right-hander Clay Buchholz in the second half. The Yankees are monitoring the Sabathia sweepstakes, but seem disinclined to offer major prospects when they can sign the pitcher as a free agent. The Phillies and Cubs both want Sabathia, but their farm systems are not considered to be as deep as the Brewers'. LaPorta, the Brewers' first-round pick in 2007, is an American League-type player, rival scouts and executives say, a right-handed slugger who is below-average defensively. He was a first baseman at Florida, but the Brewers have converted him to left field — a position occupied by Ryan Braun, who is signed through 2015. The Indians badly need power. Center fielder Grady Sizemore leads the AL with 21 home runs, but designated hitter Travis Hafner hit only four before going on the disabled list with a right shoulder strain on May 30 and catcher Victor Martinez had zero before going on the DL June 12 with a right-elbow injury. LaPorta is tied for the Southern League lead with 19 homers and third in the league in OPS. Three of his Huntsville teammates — third baseman Mat Gamel, catcher Angel Salome, and first baseman Chris Errecart — rank first, sixth and seventh in OPS, respectively. If LaPorta were traded, either Gamel or Errecart could emerge as the long-term replacement for Fielder. The inclusion of Escobar in a deal for Sabathia, however, would qualify as a surprise. "He's not a little bit better than Hardy defensively — he's way better," one rival executive says, referring to the Brewers' starting shortstop, J.J. Hardy. "Escobar is a phenomenal shortstop, a show-stopper. Hardy has lost a step in the field." The Brewers, if they preferred to keep Escobar, instead could seek to include Hardy in the deal. But Hardy, whose OPS ranks third among NL shortstops, will be only two years away from free agency at the end of the season, and less appealing to the Indians.

Damn, I was really hoping someone would take Arroyo. If they can find someone to take him Cincy would have 30 million a year off their team payroll, and could be the biggest player in free agency this offseason Dunn 13 million Griffey 12 million Arroyo 10 million Patterson 3.5 million Weathers 2.5 million Ross 2.5 million Even after factoring in raises they would have an insane amount of money per year, and really off that list who has given the reds great production outside of Dunn
-
Al, how would Arroyo look in Philly Red? Bronson Arroyo to Philadelphia EDIT 11:23AM: The Reds may also be involved in a smaller deal which could be completed first. Keep your eye on the Marlins as a potential trading partner. OSN has learned that the Cincinnati Reds are in the process of completing a deal with the Philadelphia Phillies. The Reds will send Bronson Arroyo and a utility player to Philadelphia for CF Shane Victorino and a prospect. Stick with OSN as the day goes on to find out more details. http://ohiosportsnews.blogspot.com/ Dandy and Reds fans may want to check this sight. It's the best Reds sight on the web. http://www.redszone.com/forums/index.php?s=

For any Cincy fans rumors are swirling that there is going to be a big move made within 48 hours. Hopefully Arroyo goes elsewhere, I'm not sure who would take his contract.

I'm sorry, getting paid to have videos released of guys sucking on your toes and fondling your breasts isn't really slutty at all. Oh wait... And please don't respond with some retarded statement about how it's no different then love scenes in movies, as I really hope you're not that stupid.

A-Rod has reportedly split from his wife, the material girl must have some kind of magic snatch.

Nice bedroom!
-
Yep, reds have reportedly already spent 6-7 million on Dominican players this year, with the biggest deal going to Juan Duran. They were willing to spend another 5 million there, reportedly they're willing to spend whatever it takes to sign the big prospects. It kind of makes you wonder how active they'll be in the free agent market this offseason with Jocketty as GM and with Griffey and Dunn's contracts off the books. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them offer CC Sabathia or Ben Sheets 100 million dollar deals.

Cena shouldn't worry, he'll have a stinging reminder of that relationship everytime he pees. I part of her will always be with him. I can't be the only one here who wants to see Candice's performance in "Bondage under the sun". I think DeNiro was her co-star in that one

John Cena, that's why they started the angle between the two.
-
Considering almost no relationship lasts between two wrestlers I hope Mickie and Michelle realize what they're doing by shacking up with two of the most powerful people in WWE. Sure it sounds great, but 2 years from now there's a decent chance neither relationship will be alive, there will be some bad feelings and TNA will have two new knockouts (see Lauer, Joanie).

4.19 in Cincy, highest it's ever been. Boo!!!!!!!!! On Thursday night/Friday morning at about 2 am I filled up and gas was 3.96 a gallon. Two days later it was 4.19, and has stayed there.

Is Special K the goggles guy?

Atlanta traffic isn't that bad, oh wait... have fun with that every fucking day.

Plus, WWE can't really fire him, at least not until they find another lead announcer. I mean what are they going to do, put adamle on smackdown, no way. I guess they could bring in Styles from wwe.com, but they don't like him either.

Ever felt like you just can't get the right job?
geniusMoment replied to Damaramu's topic in General Chat
I got a job as a Coordinator with UC's registrar office in early May following graduation from college, I'm going to UC law in the fall. It doesn't pay much, 16.00 an hour, but I love what I do. I work 8-4:30 mon-fri. and it is easy as hell. A few times a day a potential student comes in, I tell them about class requirements and what college is like, how to register. Also, I do degree audits, send transcripts and contact professors over issues. I do about an hour of actual work, the rest of the day I walk around campus, go to the food court, annoy the ducks by the lake etc... The thing is I may like it too much, I love being on campus, I love being around college kids. It makes me question going to law school. If I stay here and move up through administration it would be great, as being in administration with a college is easy as hell, most of my superiors work 8:30-3:00, and have little to no stress in their jobs. However, I'd only end up making 50,000-60,000 if I stay in college administration, whereas if I get my law degree my dad could get me a job at P&G making a lot more. What's worth more: Money-but working 80 hours a week with stress, Less Money-dicking around at college in a stress free job? Also, Dama if you're looking for a career to get into, ever considered being an Air Traffic Controller. You need a 4 year degree, or work experience. You take a test, if you pass they train you in Okla. City for 6 weeks, then you're placed somewhere in the country by the FAA. You are a fed employee, and will make scale to the equivalent of 125,000 per year after about 10 years on the job. You'll get paid for training, and then start off around 37,000 per year. With your degree you'd at least get in to take the test, with a passing score you'd have a good career, not just a job. My friend did it last year, he's making about 45,000 this year. The jobs are posted by the fed. govt., with testing dates listed. Here's a posting: http://www.careerbuilder.com/JobSeeker/Job...DJ66BJZJ24NSVYX -
I was thinking the other day, what if for 24 hours you had control of a gas station with a full supply of gas, and all of the gas was paid for (meaning you had no expenses). How much money do you think you could take in? I mean you could set any price you wanted, as it would all be profit. Can you imagine the non-stop stampede if you set gas at like 3.50 a gallon.

Yeah, because 8-0 with a 3.46 era coming into today is horrible isn't it. I know you get upset when the cards win because you're a cubs fan but come on man. You're quite the reactionary poster.
