You pay 36,000 a year for rent? At that rate why not just buy? You would need to make 45,000 a year just to cover the actual cash of your rent, and would need to make upwards of 60,000 just to then cover living expenses. How much do you make?

Don't get one. That'd be all well and good but when rent is close to 1,000 a month for what constitutes as a studio apartment and my income will be severely cut down because of getting a new job, I'll kind of need one. Damn, you can get a nice 2 bedroom apartment where I live for 650 a month.

My friend is a mailman, he makes 57,200 a year for working 8-6 monday-friday. It's a federal job so I assume the pay is similar where you live (I'm from Cincy). How it works here is you start at 20 an hour, but since you work 50 hours a week it becomes 30 for the last 10. I'm not sure if that's too many hours for you, but he says it's the easiest thing in the world.

I don't understand people who can't pay the minimum on their cards. I have a Citi Dividends Card with a 10,000 limit. The minimum is 20 a month. How can someone not afford that?

I was referring to the bottom part of the board, and LSD which I guess is The Chocolate Socket v2.0 now. The sports forum has numerous good posters and is usually good reading. The two below that have good info, also. And the rare times I care about wrestling, we have a decent amount of good posters here. Much more so since people like RRR have left, and HTQ doesn't post much anymore. Didn't you see my thread about the sucker? That has some redeeming value.
