Actually WWE was much tamer in 2000 than in 1997-99. It just takes the public a while to catch on, it took them over a year to catch on to the fact that raw was better than nitro. But WWE cannot use attitude anymore, not even something remotely risque. They are going back to kids stuff, expect the average age demo continue to rise.

Griffey is liked by the rest of his team. Part of his problem is he is very shy, this creates uncomfortable moments with the press. I did not bitch about the gimmick, but now I am going to bitch about the board blowing their load over the gimmick. Its hard to read a couple of posts without hearing about how great Eugene is. How can this be the same company that produced raw. If the reports about HHH having so much power over raw are true I cannot wait until he takes over the company. Actually I have no desire to see any of those matches. Every match I have seen from the 70's I have found to be too old school for my tastes, and the matches from the 80s, such as JYD/Race sucked. I think really old school matches are an equired taste I just do not have, I find them boring.
