I'm a bit surprised no one drafted one of England's biggest (if not the biggest) star. Hell, he had TV shows and comic strips produced for him.

    Campaign 2008

Oh baby I hope this is true. One step closer to My Friends Hot Mom you dirty dirty girl. http://mudflats.wordpress.com/ This is Getting Ugly. New Palin Rumors Fly. 5 09 2008 It’s hopeless. Just when you think you’ll get a few minutes to eat, or work, or have a life, more cars on the train wreck that is the McCain-Palin ticket derail. The latest story the National Enquirer is working on is that Palin had an affair with Todd’s ex-business partner in an Anchorage Car Wash venture. This was an interesting twist because it was also rumored that Todd Palin had an “Edwards problem”. Maybe he has an Elizabeth Edwards problem. I generally try to resist getting too caught up in the smarminess, unless it becomes impossible. It just did. Two days ago, Todd’s ex-business partner filed an emergency motion to have his divorce papers sealed. Yesterday the motion was DENIED. __________________

    F4W/WON TNA Notes

Now that it looks like Gail Kim may come back after all TNA may actually be able to build. They have a strong womens division built around Kim, and hopefully Foley makes a difference. I'm not sure he will, but I really want competition.

    Gail Kim gone from TNA

PWTorch has learned that Gail Kim has personally reached out to Dixie Carter to see if a deal can be struck for her to return to TNA after all. As PWTorch has reported in multiple instances over the past week, friends have said she felt terrible about leaving TNA, but felt she had to because WWE's offer was at least triple what TNA's supposed final offer was. Kim did reportedly meet with WWE officials, but has been hestitant to sign a deal with WWE due to her happiness with working for TNA - other than the lowball offer she was given. From what we understand, neither Kim nor Dixie Carter were happy with the way TNA reps and Kim's reps (lawyers and/or agent) handled the negotiations, and both have decided to at least see if a return could be worked out. Carter has asked some tough questions to people within TNA lately whom she trusted to handle this part of the business well; there are indications she felt out of the loop and wanted to try to make the situation right. Keller's Analysis: It's good that TNA may be able to make this situation right. Kim badly wanted to stay with TNA and, as we reported, had to be talked into the only dignified move - walking away from TNA's insultingly lowball offer considering the hard numbers of what she's drawn in her matches on Impact (usually the ighest rated of each show she's on) and her popularity behind the scenes and the respect her colleagues have for her. I've also heard there was a backlash among several TNA wrestlers - women and men - that TNA didn't pay her due respect with a fair-minded renewal offer.

LOL, Diamond wins, his roster doesn't fit HBK at all. Almost everyone is from the 70s and 80s.

    This Week in Baseball 8/11 - 8/17

per the Arizona republic and rotoworld.com: The Arizona Republic reports that Micah Owings is one of the players to be named in the Adam Dunn deal. Depending on who the second player to be named is, this could end up looking like a great deal for Cincinnati, who wasn't going to re-sign Dunn anyway. Owings was a big disappointment this season after posting a 4.30 ERA in 2007, and while the Diamondbacks refused to say he was injured, he's currently dealing with shoulder stiffness in the minors. He'll need to improve his change-up to make it as a starter, and who knows - the Reds could always convert him to an outfielder or first baseman. Owings was then claimed on waivers by a team with a worse record then cincy, meaning the trade won't be completed until after the season when Owings would be able to be traded without being put on waivers. Oh, and I meant that Dunn told Reds teammates in the locker room the type of deal he wanted. Bronson was talking about a personal conversation he had with Adam, if that makes a difference.

    This Week in Baseball 8/11 - 8/17

Reds decided not to bring Dunn back in late May after meeting with his agents and finding out what type of contract he wanted. In an interview today Bronson Arroyo mentioned how Dunn had told the team that there was a good chance he wasn't going to be back as he wants a 6 year 120 million dollar deal in order to sign with anyone. He reportedly was willing to give the Reds "a deal" and sign for 5 for 100 million. But, he wasn't willing to settle for any less. Dusty Baker confirmed the story, and admitted they knew Dunn was going to be leaving the team after this season. If anyone is dumb enough to pay Dunn 20 million a year for the next 6 years have at it.
  17. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...703-663,00.html PAUL Newman has finished chemotherapy and has told his family he wants to die at home. The Oscar-winning actor was pictured being pushed from a New York cancer hospital in a wheelchair. Yesterday, it was reported in America that Newman, 83, had only weeks to live and had returned home to his wife, Joanne Woodward. "Paul didn't want to die in the hospital," a source said. "Joanne and his daughters are beside themselves with grief." The source, described as a close family friend, said that the star had spent the past few weeks getting his affairs in order. It was claimed that some of Newman's actions had caused tension among of his children. "He gave a prized car - a Ferrari with his racing number, 82, on it - to a long-time pal," the friend said. "The sudden move angered his children. It's especially hard for them to come to grips with what's going on. "The word they've been given is that he has only a few weeks to live." Newman married Woodward in 1958 and the couple have three daughters. It was reported last month that he had been readying their oldest child, Nell, to take over his Newman's Own salad dressings company, the profits of which are given to a charitable foundation. He also has two daughters from his first marriage to Jackie Witte. Newman has so far declined to comment on his condition, apart from saying he is "doing nicely". Rumours about his health surfaced in January. Three months ago, he withdrew from directing a production of Of Mice and Men in his home town of Westport, Connecticut.

Marvin, that No Offence guy from the WWE folder and Tiaga should be put in the gulag for about a week as an experiment. Who knows between the three of them they may cure cancer. Oh, and Carlos Lee is done for the year. I'd guess that even Ed Wade doesn't believe the Astros are winning the wild card now. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20...sp&c_id=hou

Raven files a lawsuit against the WWE

HBK's downside has to be way way way more then 7,000 a week. That's only 364,000 a year. I bet he has a 7 figure downside guarantee. Hell, sting makes more then that in TNA.

    How strong are you?

Ever get shin splints? I've really picked up my running again and I've developed them. I'm trying to just take a day off from running here and there and run through it even though all advice has been to stop running altogether for about 4 weeks and heal up. It sucks, running is now just horribly painful, and afterward my shins throb. I've got new shoes, but it doesn't seem to help.

    How strong are you?

Yeah, tennis and golf. I'm mainly talking about a mixture of baseball and basketball players, obviously almost all football players (outside of a few corners, wide receivers and kickers) bench well over that. Some of the other sports that don't take as much body strength I'm not really counting. I don't have figures or anything, I'm just talking about what I've seen, and what I saw when I was on the baseball team. I've been working out on a consistant basis for about 8 years. I've never maxed myself out because I don't believe in it, and I've been told not to. Highest amount I bench is 195, I'm able to do that 9 times. I'm still trying to get it up to 10. My goal is to eventually be able to do 200 10 times, I won't ever try and go more then that. It's taken me years of consistant work just to get to that point.
  23. geniusMoment

    How strong are you?

really, does this surprise anyone? Also, 135 is okay, but I'm right along there with Mik. And you can't exactly take the median amount of all the averages for age groups and say "well, this is what people normally lift." And where the hell are those statistics from, anyways? Of course a person who works out, even on any sort of regular basis, is going to be "above the average" since most people DON'T work out. What a retarded argument. The facts are from my UC athletic trainers manual, which is verified by the NCAA. They are used when we train high school students during summer camps, showing them proper lifting technique and proper amount for individual body type. But, they are pretty standard, you can find them online. You must've been a huge linemen if you were benching 250 at 16-17 years old. Out of all the kids I've worked with this summer only a couple even came close to that amount. Hell, I work out in my schools athletic village everyday, and a good number of 21-year-old division 1 level athletes can't bench what you called a weak bench in high school.

    How strong are you?

Either some people on this board are telling a few little lies or this board is just incredibly strong. Here are the average bench presses for males (this is a one time press): Age 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-69 Lbs 180 158 143 128 116 The average bench press for a male between ages 20 and 60 is 145 pounds or 65.7708937 kilograms Considering most of you are in the age 20-29 range anything over 190 would be very good. Anything over 200 would put you in the top 15% of people in that age range, and anything over 250 would put you in the top 3% of people aged 20-29.

    This Week In Baseball: 8/4-8/10

There is some high quality ass at wrigley for this game. During the 7th inning stretch they've shown like 10 girls with cut-off shorts so small that you can see about half the pockets underneath about the 2 inches of denim covering their pussy. You gotta love a day game at wrigley. Earlier this year I was at Wrigley with my girlfriend for a series of games. Before one of the games we stopped off at Hi Tops (it's a local bar that many go to before cubs games for those of you who have never been to wrigley) and there was a group of about 6 girls wearing nothing but white sports bras and what they called shorts (looked more like those panties that look like shorts but ride up a girls ass). Anyway, we ended up in a discussion over the Cubs. They thought that Mark Prior was hot (I didn't bother to inform them that he wasn't on the team anymore) and ended up deciding they were going to flash whenever the Cubs hit a HR. Anyway, we walked to the park, we all ended up in the right field bleachers. They were completely sauced by the second inning when I think DeRose hit a HR. They did a poor flash causing security to come over. Somehow my girlfriend (who was wearing a red t shirt and jean shorts that weren't quite as slutty) got grouped in with them by security. It took about 20 minutes of discussion before everyone was allowed to stay. In the end the group of girls ended up leaving with what looked like a group of dirty construction workers. All that's come out of this is my girlfriend won't sit in the bleachers in wrigley anymore. Gotta love wrigley
